The hot tub and pool were very dirty. The water was cloudy and the hot tub foamed up and there was brown scum and hair in the foam. Our bathroom in the room had pubic hair on the floor behind the door close to the bath tub and neither myself or my spouse have hair in those regions. We were very satisfied with the breakfast.

The place was clean and the people very nice. Despite that, I must admit that the fact they use plastic utensils, paper plates and not ceramic mugs annoyed me during breakfast. The other thing was the gym: 1 mat, and very old equipment and machines. Very disappointing from a holiday inn.

Easy check-in and breakfast included before flight was very convenient. I do wish that when booking it said the times of the airport shuttle because I assumed it would be running for my morning flight as it said included, however they don’t start until 8 am so I had to pay additional for transportation that I thought would be included.

All in all the hotel was decent. VERY disappointed the hot tub was not operational as we picked the hotel because it had a pool and hot tub. Also they were unwilling to accommodate a late check out (we just wanted one extra hour for time for time to shower after a run).

The room was clean and comfortable, and the food was good. Indidnt find the check in staff to be especially friendly, but not outright rude either. The pool and hot tub were my main area of concern! There were brown spots and hair clumps in the hot tub foam. There was visible scum on the hot tub tile, and the pool was cloudy with...i dont even know. It was surely not clean. I havent ever swam in a hotel pool with such murky water. It was gross.

It was disappointing that the hot tub was closed for maintenance as that was the first reason I chose this hotel. But, the staff, pool, rooms and breakfast were wonderful. I do wish there were a few more gluten-free options and that the food was labeled if it was gluten-friendly. Plus, I am dairy-free, so I couldn't have the omelets either as they were cheese filled. I do highly recommend having a dairy-free milk option for cereal or coffee as well!

I stayed there for four nights and I requested them to clean my room and change my bed sheets but in four nights they did not bother to change the bed sheets . Additionally the person who cleaned the room , left the room open and I could lose valuable items . That was rackless. At nights it was too busy and noisy , drunk people roaming around the hall. I didn’t feel safe at all! I will never go to this hotel in my future trips .

Although our room didn’t seem to have been cleaned. The manager on duty was extremely nice and moved us to a new room and gave us a discount for the inconvenience. All the staff was extremely nice especially Ashdeep!

Remote control blinds were a nice touch, pump dispenser soap and shampoo were better than the regular bar of soap, pillows marked soft and firm, articulating mount on TV a made it easier to see. Room was clean, breakfast was good for being complimentary.

Large, clean & comfortable room. Great breakfast with a lot of options. I usually didn’t need lunch after that! Friendly staff and the ladies in the breakfast area did a great job keeping everything replenished and they were constantly cleaning. It’s located in a central location on the edge of downtown and about 10-15 minutes from the airport. I’d definitely stay here again when I come back to Saskatoon.

The room was veey nice and clean. The staff were excellent and the complimentary breakfast was great. The only real problem was we could hear the people above us walking around, but if we turned the fan on, it cocered most of the noise.

Quality of hotel was good but the check-in was terrible. Not sure if Expedia’s or Holiday Inn‘s booking system is to blame, but I spent an hour in the lobby while it was sorted out. I had a booking confirmation from Expedia, including receipt with charge to my credit card. Receptionist couldn’t find the booking on HI system and made me call Expedia help line. Then Expedia called the receptionist, then the manager, while I was kept waiting. When I finally got a room I ended up with a wheelchair accessible configuration which was actually very inconvenient since the shower curtain didn’t hold back the water and flooded the floor. On a plus note: breakfast buffet was good. Shuttle service starts at 8 am, which was too late for my 7 am departure.

Hotel staff member tried to remove wife and newborn child at a time prior to a granted late check out was granted night prior. Woman was vulgar and threatening. I was in meetings and was back one hour early from agreed upon check out time of 2pm. Horrible people skills

It appeared that we were double booked because of some error. The staff said that there was nothing they could do. I had to pay for two rooms even though we used only one. The staff on duty at that time in no way tried to assist in resolving the issue. They had no other people needing their services at the time we were checking in.

Overall was an excellent deal. Fantastic check-in by Kira-ensuring every detail was met. Great location. Safe secure parking. Delicious breakfast in the morning with a multitude of choices. Room was well set up but needed a better cleaning of the bathroom.

Our stay was excellent from the great customer services at check-in too the brunch staff woo made eye contact, greeted us with a smile and served one of the best menus we had at a hotel for a long time. We will be sharing our good experience with friends. Our grandsons have made us promise to only stay at the HI Express every time we visit Saskatoon. Only sad part was that the pool was being painted so the boys couldn't swim while we were there.

I book here often and it’s usually easy to check in. This time unfortunately it was not. When I arrived there was a system outage and I couldn’t be given a key so every time I left the lady from the front desk had to walk me up to my room. Then around 11pm they called my room I was in bed and they had me come down in my pyjamas to give them my credit card for damage deposit and receive my room key. I understand they couldn’t help the outage but calling so late I found was unnecessary

Hotel had a really excellent breakfast, it was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. 5 stars as far as all things to do with the hotel itself. The night club 'P!nk' across the street, on the other hand played extremely loud music until 2 a.m.... We were on the fourth floor facing away from that side of the building and I could still make out the words to the songs. I heard many other families complaining about the loud music the next morning in the breakfast room. If it wasn't for the night club I would return...

Nice hotel. Great staff, really well run. The area around the hotel is not the safest but the hotels and the grounds had good security and high fences for your vehicles. I will be staying again for sure. Not far from the university.

There are a few buildings in the area that are boarded up and graffiti on them. Hopefully the city takes care of these soon. Love the hotel and that it’s convenient to downtown.

I enjoyed the hot breakfast and the hotel was fine for a night. The area is quite run down and dining options are somewhat limited in the area. It also can be a difficult parking lot to leave as there are no lights conveniently nearby if one is planning to head north or west.
