The staff here are amazing. When my friend needed to go to the hospital, one of them gave him a ride on his motorcycle. The rooftop pool is wonderful, especially in the morning. The rooms can be a little quirky, because the sink is in the hallway in the shower is separate from the bathroom. The pillows could be better, but overall a really nice place breakfast is great.

Poor customer service, breakfast is ok, but not a huge amount of choice and staff not prepared to do anything remotely different (like poached eggs for example). I had arguments with staff and they were quite happy to shout at me. Facilities aren’t great. Bed a little uncomfortable. Toilets are odd too. If you park your car in the car park, don’t bother trying to use the lift after 9pm, as they cut off access to the car park. I had to carry my heavy case up the stairs. Someone came to help once I was in reception - I’d done the hard bit by then!!

This hotel is not 5 star standard.It would be accurate to say it's 3 stars European standard. The bed was comfortable but came with only 2 pillows.The setup is weird bathroom toilet and wash basin all in different locations. Balcony has no furniture to sit and very dirty. Breakfast was extremely low quality, food left open for long periods and not much choice. The pool has the same depth as the bathtub was not usable for me. The good points was the location in the middle of everything great location. The staff were wonderful but some had limited English.

Let's be clear, this is not a five star hotel. The rooms are fine, although I don't like the odd solution with separated toilet and shower room with the sink being in the bedroom. Gym is small with just a few machines and some free weights. No towels. The pool area is nice, but the pool itself is way too small and shallow (only one meter deep). What disturbed me the most is that two arab men walked around in their underwear and also went swimming. Very unhygienic and disgusting behaviour. Most hotels have strict rules about wearing proper swimwear, but Blackwoods does not seem to care. I told the staff at the pool bar, but they ignored me. Breakfast is of very low quality, except for the thai food. Bright-coloured "juices", cheap "butter" and bread and so on. Well, the price was alright, so I guess some people will like this hotel.

Die Gegend rund um das Hotel ist eher einfach, gerade deshalb hebt sich das Hotel mit seiner Sauberkeit hervor. In der Lobby gibt es eine Bar. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und verfügte über kleine Details die es noch komfortabler machten, wie zu Beispiel Einmal-Hausschuhe. Die Mini-Bar war komplett umsonst. Das Bett war bequem. Wir hatten sogar Meerblick.

I had a good stay, was there 28 nights. For the most part the hotel is quiet, the room was clean, good A/C, pretty good breakfast and the bed was comfortable. During the water festival the area was loud and busy. I would definitely stay at Black Woods hotel again.

I booked this hotel for one night as I had a business trip to Rayong. The hotel quality is node and rooms are very clean and modern. The issue I had was noise outside. This is my fault, I didn’t realise the party street was immediately in front of the hotel. I barely slept and I could hear every conversation and beat of music on the street. Not the hotels fault, I just wasn’t prepared for the party…

Located on Soi 7 which is not very great anymore, but beach and mall is around the corner and very convenient. Breakfast is average, nothing great but it is complimentary so can not complain. Only thing I did not like is they push 2 small beds together for 1 big bed. Other than that, there is nothing bad I can say. There is loud construction all day long behind hotel, but they can not control that, so I can not hold them responsible. It is November 2025 so until construction is finished try to get a room facing Soi 7.

Love Blackwoods best first time experience in Pattaya staff was super friendly, room was super clean. The staff came and called everyday to check on me and see if I wanted my room clean. My only complaint was the bed, instead of one big bed it was two twins on wheels and the way I was moving around it would spilt a lot. The room service was good as well as the breakfast.The only time I heard anything was in the morning/ early evening when the cleaners were cleaning other rooms. All and all great hotels and with good location.

Not a 5 star hotel in any way, is in a good location but let down by non friendliness of most of the staff, room not as sold on booking platforms. Had to carry our own luggage up the steps to reception with no greeting even though staff not busy. Breakfast was not great as eggs not even cooked fresh as you would expect from a 5 star hotel.

This property has to be the best I’ve stayed at in Pattaya. The quality of the rooms/amenities, its staff, and the in house breakfast/room service is top notch. The quality for the value is unheard of. I love that its smacked right near Central Festival Mall, on Soi 7 for some quick drinks, literally a 5 min walk to Beach road and 10 mins to Myth Night, the Bazaar and Tree Town. I highly recommend waking up early and having the breakfast. And if you are feeling lazy to go out and eat, the room service is excellent. This is my go to hotel in Pattaya every time. Just be mindful that you are going to be on Soi 7, there will be some outside noise but it’s not loud enough to keep you awake. Thank you Blackwoods.
