The apartment was spacious, clean and tidy. Everything is availbale for a short or longer stay. It's very quiet, surprisingly, despite the big amount of people living there. East Village shopping centre is a very short stroll from the building, so it was convenient to grab groceries to cook and a coffee in the morning. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful (the remote control batteries were dead, and they gave me spare batteries). Check-in/out was very easy. The spa and pool downstairs were a good add-on. I would defineitely come back there

Apartment was okay. Highway outside was very noisy from level 8. Corridor stank of the garbage room and Shute. Pool was out of use for the whole six days. Got refunded 15% after being offered 10%. Got a complementary bottle wine. Wouldn’t stay there again. Disappointed

The suite was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is an issue. Having paid $25 for parking, we could not be guaranteed a parking space on our return if we went out for the evening. As there were few spare spaces, we decided to take taxis and leave the car. There should be an option to book a car space.

Fantastic value, my spacious one bedroom had a fully stocked kitchen, balcony with outdoor seating, washer and dryer, even an office. Location was very safe, residential, a small indoor mall was a 3 minute work with a large grocery store, excellent butcher and fishmonger. There were local restaurants however we did not try them. Area is very residential, clean, well kept and safe. The grounds are well kept and there is a sauna, gym and indoor pool I’ve will be staying here again on my next visit to Sydney. The additional space and convenience of a washer / dryer was a game changer. Location worked well as I needed to be close to UNSW which was a 30 minute walk, 15 mins by bus.

Conveniently located, few steps away from a bus stop where you can catch bus 304 or 343 to Downtown, there are supermarkets nearby and a lot of restaurants. My room has a nice kitchen and a balcony. A 25 meters swimming pool on the ground floor, nice and clean, jacuzzi and sauna room too!

The reception females were abrupt however the men were very friendly so helped. The rooms were dirty, cigarette butts in a balcony- we had 4 rooms - 3 in N and 1 in O - all were substandard cleanliness. Sinks, kitchen stove, microwave dirty.

It would have been a good apartment and convenient to our trip. Unfortunately the cleanliness was a letdown. A strong smell of off fish permeated the entire apartment, and even though I went around and sprayed glen 20 and aired it out it still stank. Generally the apartment needed a deep clean - fingerprints everywhere, dirty dusty carpet, mould in shower. And that unfortunate smell.

Communications and reception services were excellent. We stayed for three nights and, while there was no housekeeping during our stay, we were able to request and receive additional towels without issue. However, the carpeted staircase and the area near the kitchen could use attention, as there was a noticeable odor and both would benefit from a thorough cleaning.

Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The room we had was quite dirty on arrival. The bathrooms were not very clean, the coffee machine had mould in it and the floors were pretty dirty. The mattresses were rock hard, and guests from other rooms also mentioned how uncomfortable the beds were. The sheets, blankets and pillow cases were all dirty and stained. Cleaners came in at one point to do bins, however they didn’t replace the bin bags and just left the empty bins on top of the toilets? For some reason our room also smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke from the moment we arrived (we are all non-smokers, so it certainly wasn’t from us). The bathroom lock was also broken. The pool and spa were both quite dirty, and the spa had clearly had soap or detergent poured into it, so it was kind of like using a gross communal bubble bath, with very visible dirt etc on the bubbles? Haha In the hallways between rooms, electrical cupboards were left open and unlocked. When we mentioned it to front desk staff they seemed concerned and said they would send someone to close and lock them immediately as it was a safety hazard, but they never actually got closed or locked- they stayed open for our entire stay. The staff themselves were quite pleasant and friendly, and I appreciated the Mardi Gras decorations that they had put up in the foyer. However, the rooms and facilities just weren’t sanitary, and certainly not worth the money we paid to stay there.

Property definitely wasn't 5 Star quality. Rooms had a lot of marks on the walls & the skirting boards were filty & needed a good clean or even a quick coat of paint to hide the scuff marks. Access to the CBD wasn't as easy as we would have liked but that is on us for not researching properly.

Trodde detta skulle bli det bästa boendet under våran resa då det hade väldigt högt betyg. Förstår dock inte alls mig på dom andra recensionerna under tiden jag bott här. Direkt när vi kom till boendet så märke vi hur dåligt skött det är. Boendet ser nytt och modernt ut på utsidan men insidan är riktigt dålig. Det luktar riktigt äckligt i korridorerna samt på rummet. Sen är allt allmänt i dåligt skick och heller inte fräscht, känns som att allt behöver renoveras då det mesta är slitet med skador och smuts överallt. Vi bodde högt upp i huset och förväntade oss bra utsikt men fönstren var så smutsiga så det gick knappt att se ut, kan inte varit rengjorda på många år. Ska man sitta på balkongen så får man ta med hörselskydd för det dånar högt ifrån motorvägen som är precis bredvid hotellet. Fick även syn på en lista som låg i en utav korridoren som verkade vara ifrån en städare, där kunde jag läsa hur olika gäster klagade på dålig lukt, dåligt städat och mögel. Detta verkade vara en lista som dom gick igenom för att åtgärda...

Excelente apartamento con todas las comodidades. Muy cerca de un centro comercial para comprar y bien comunicado. A un paso del Centro de Sydney. Muy buena atención al cliente facilitando cualquier explicación y todo lo necesario para el apartamento. Mejor pedir pisos altos (las vistas al skyline impresionante) y no orientados a la carretera por el tráfico.

Property was clean, well located , quiet and affordable. Disappointing that check in was 3pm but checkout was at 10am. Most places with a later check in have a later checkout (11am). Water pressure in shower was great. Beds were unbelievably hard. Made me realise I’ve never complained about a bed before but literally was like a stiff board, that was a shame.

Nice apartments close to Moore Park area. Clean and stylish with good facilities. Balcony and garden view was relaxing. Easy and affordable parking just let them know beforehand. Only negative we have is that the beds while crisp and fresh with nice pillows, are as hard as a rock so be prepared. This is not a one off as we have stayed in three different beds there and all the same. Otherwise great.

Really nice hotel. We enjoyed our stay. The location is just under 20 mins from the train station and a short 5 min walk to the bus stop, which was very handy with getting into the city centre. The East Village shopping mall is less than a 5 min walk which we enjoyed, there is a Cole’s supermarket and some yummy restaurant spots. The only downside with our stay was the room 339 I believe it was in south N block the wifi was really bad. We talked to the reception and the man was helpful and called someone to have the wifi router restarted, however that didn’t improve it and even being upgraded to the premium wifi made no improvement. We also could not chromecast to the tv because of the wifi. Everything else was perfect though. Very clean and tidy, rooms looked as they were online and the staff were friendly. I would stay here again.

Room was right next to very busy road. Layout was unusual and the wifi didn’t work. Considering the price , I expected a better location that was effected by traffic.

I was so grateful that the hotel was able to accommodate my request for an early check in. I had an important event to attend and the staff were very helpful and I was able to access my room several hours early. Great customer service. 😊

I had left behind some clothes in the bathroom when I checked out. Called the hotel and requested them to check. They promptly called me back and arranged to send the clothes to Brisbane from Sydney. The people I spoke with through this process were extremely friendly and helpful, making it very easy for me.

Having to wait an extra hour to check in from 4pm meant we had to change our dinner plans they gave us late checkout on Monday but were calling us at 10 mins before place is a bit tired and had to pay extra for parking

It was NYE, so definitely a busy night. But theg weren't staffed properly, we had to stand in a 40 minute line, just to be told our room wasnt ready, 15 mins after check in opened. The room was missing a bath mat and extra toilet paper and the phone didn't work. TV didn't have instructions either. The bed wasn't super comfortable, but the room was well equipped. Neighborhood was great and there was a great shopping/food center nearby.

From the moment I entered the hotel until checking out, this experience was right up there with the best I've ever encountered. The staff member was one of the nicest and informative people I've ever had the pleasure of when checking into any accommodation, anywhere, and she quickly arranged car parking for my 6 night stay. The suites themselves are high quality, excellent furniture and ample kitchen space, while bedroom and bathrooms were comfortable and luxurious. I was also fortunate to be upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite which provided additional living space. I've stayed at Meriton hotels in many states of Australia and the quality experience is always the same. While the Zetland suites didn't have daily housekeeping, the service every 3 days was professional and entirely adequate for my stay. I've enjoyed my stay so much this trip, I am becoming a member and will be making Meriton my absolute first point of call for all future travel stays. Well done folks!

First thing i notice upon arriving was the friendliness of the staff. We arrived early and immediately asked if we wanted to leave our luggage until check-in time. So we left our luggage and went to the nearby East village to have lunch. Soon after we got an email saying our room was ready early and we could check in. The room was clean a soacious, everything works. There is a washer and dryer. The best was that there were lots of sockets in convenient places. If i has to say anything bad was that there are no slippers or microwave. At first we thought transport will be inconvenient as it is about 15 mins walk. However we found that there are many buses that pass throught this area, going to cbd, newtown and bondi junction. Had a great stay, and recommend Meriton 100%.

Good location. Though our room is next to a busy highway, we didnt hear any traffic sound. Not even the storm. Reception area is nice. Staff are friendly and helpful. Quick check in and check out. We had the studio room andbit is large and well equipped and clean. Bed is comfortable. We had issues with the internet with several visits to the reception for assistance. Unfortunately the issue was not fixed but it was beyond their control. Nevertheless they took the initiative to compensate me for the inconvenience by giving me a discount. I would have liked to visit the gym and the pool but did not have the time. Maybe next time. Theres a nice courtyard with a bbq. Quite convenient.

The apartment was spacious, clean and tidy. Everything is availbale for a short or longer stay. It's very quiet, surprisingly, despite the big amount of people living there. East Village shopping centre is a very short stroll from the building, so it was convenient to grab groceries to cook and a coffee in the morning. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful (the remote control batteries were dead, and they gave me spare batteries). Check-in/out was very easy. The spa and pool downstairs were a good add-on. I would defineitely come back there

The location turned out to be less accessible from the airport than I anticipated. While I really liked the room and the facilities around it for a work trip, I do prefer a location that works well with the train to and from the airport, and as it turns out the venue I was attending. Not an issue for the hotel itself.

We had a great stay. Excellent location for getting into the centre (15 minutes taxi) and also to the East coast beaches and the airport. Lovely clean suite with lots of amenities and space. We enjoyed the spa facilities
