Arrived after midnight. Number 2 in line. The night clerk took about 10 minutes per customer to process them in. Told me there is a $25/dog nonrefundable fee, and a $50 cleaning deposit, which is Not in the property description of fees. I paid cash, and it seemed like a scam. The night clerk said they didn't have any room swipe keys, so he escorted me to the room and opened the door. I had to leave the room door open for several trips to my vehicle for items I needed to get into the room. Unsafe. The room was a dump. Filthy shower, toilet and the floor was dirty. Broken wall plates, missing smoke detector. The shower tub filled up about 6" of dirty water during shower. Drain not working. No electrical outlet in bathroom for hair dryer.

Property is nice enough able to park in front of my room. Looking forward to having breakfast at the cafe. One problem I did have was that my map program show this property as being permanently closed, had me worried but I had faith in Expedia.

The budget inn has gotten better it's all new staffed nice on the business side which is good. I honestly cannot blame the owner this isn't a good area. Protect what she worked hard for I respect that. The budget inn has improved they have cleaned thé area gotten new mattresses it always smells clean the towels are folded very nicely bathroom has been painted well cleaned. Always provided coffee and coffee pot. Laundry vicinities. The only thing I would give some advice on is the staff are too nosey I mean they gotta be I would agree on the property and room service I understand completely but that should be it. Great staff they are all a team you can tell. They take pride in their job that's nice to see. I feel I rated fair to the owner great work good example brutally hoñest. Good job guys.

Comfortable bed. Cool aircon and awesome breakfast cafe 50m away .. free washing machine but spin cycle doesn't work.. random people come to get ice from the ice machine and do their laundry.. its cheap thats why i stayed tgere..

Very run-down, you definitely get what you pay for. Bathroom walls were falling apart, had mold. Not sure they cleaned the shower/tub. Ever. Walls were grimy and needed paint. Lingering smell of cigarettes even though it was a non-smoking room. I did check for bugs, and didn't find any, so thats a plus. Staff was friendly. Parking not awesome.

When I put the address in for Budget Inn in Boise, it said permanently close. Well it wasn’t and should have been. Where to start: 1. The owner parks his car under the awning where guess are to check in. 2. It’s a U-haul storage business. They park the big trucks in the parking spots, right in front of your room. So you have to walk around them to get into your room. Very sad situation! 3. I had to sit in bed and wipe my feet off before crawling into bed. The floor was that dirty. 4. The hot water was an orange/rust color coming out of the sink. 5. WiFi would drop all the time. 6. TV wasn’t working properly on local channels. Scattered picture, one could view. There was sound. 7. The bed spread top cover had holes, that my feet would stick through. 8. Sneaky billing…they had a deposit of $50.00, which was no problem, all motels have this. But, if you did not go to the office and check out, when time to leave, with your credit card, they would add it to your bill. So, if you needed to leave early, before the office opened. You were out of luck, and charged. 9. I had to go ask at the office for wash clothes. As there was none in the room. 10. My recommendation: Stay away!

I wanted a reasonably-priced place to stay for a few nights near the Greenbelt. This was a block-and-a-half away. The office was neat with many plants. The person at registration was pleasant and professionally dressed. I would recommend live plants in the pots outside the office door, but other than that - the motel had good signage, updated and neutral-tones facade. The parking lot was in need of repair and resurfacing, but that is a big ticket item and likely in the works for this old motel. Sharing the parking lot is a breakfast diner that seemed to have a solid, local patronage and around the corner from that is a McD's. The temp was high 90's during my stay and the wall a/c unit worked great. As in all old motels, the interior was a mixed-bag and to be expected for the price. The TV screen was big enough. The furniture matched. The flooring was laminate in the bed area. The tub was large. The refrigerator was large for a mini and worked well, as did the microwave. The bed was comfortable (I would lose the bedskirt as that is a dated look). The blackout draperies completely closed. Bring extra pillows if you like more than two. The towels were clean, though inexpensive and sometimes stained a bit. The room was very clean and the staff I saw was always engaged in their work. It was really quiet as motels go!

At check in the guy didn’t even try to find the reservation I had until he asked for the confirmation number. The room itself was disgusting. The water was brown so I brushed my teeth using a water bottle. There was da huge clump of hair in the bathroom showing the room was obviously not cleaned. The room was absolutely disgusting. I stay in cheap motels however I have never stayed in a motel that was so crappy and disgusting that I couldn’t even use the water to brush my teeth

Entire room smelled like cigarettes. The wiring of some of the lights were sticking out. Shower did not drain and neither did bathroom sink. Towels were literally brown and.black and once confronted, their response was that they knew. The shower even spitted out brown water for a few minutes. Gross place, don't save money, go somewhere more safe.

Found blood on our sheets. I asked for new sheets and pillow cases and the owner told me that it was to late in the evening to request new bedding. Unbelievable! They refunded my stay 100% but the memory remains.

Roaches ants and mold. When checking in I was told that Expedia did not reserve my room. So I hat to pay more than what Expedia quoted me. When we got in the room there was food under the bed and ants everywhere. When my kid put their backpack on the table there was a roach on the table and a few on the floor. There was mold in the bathroom and ants all over the floor and counter.

I bet if I’d read reviews I’d never have stayed here but frankly I was desperate and what I learned is this is a place you stay if you’re desperate. I got bedbugs here bitten all over my legs and arms and i slept on top of the comforter because it had so many holes in it I couldn’t bring myself to pull it down and I really needed to get some sleep. Then I shaved in the sink and I always wear shower slippers but I realized the sink was leaking and had left a huge puddle. So I dried it up with a towel which turned the towel black. They almost didn’t give me back my security deposit because of it. The front desk agent was kind enough. But I’m still recovering from the bedbugs. I didn’t realize it was next to a shelter until I was driving away.

Horrible experience booked 2 nts checkin took forever only one there, got into the rm #209 went to turn on light all unplugged due to no avail outlet tv or a fire hazard outlet with signs of melting. Close the curtains and they fall off the track. Toilet seat doesnt fit the toilet mold all over the ceiling foot prints on the wall near the bed dirty/stained towels sheets pillowcases. Went to inform day staff younger lady (checked in after midnight with older gentlemen same day)and was informed no other rooms available and yeah maintenance knows. Experienced a not so professional encounter with i presume the owner/manager lady after i booked another room online w double beds for another two nights in hopes of a better experience in a differemt room and asked if i can check-in earlier than 3 since ive extendent my stay and attempted to address concerns in the room and Indian lady became hostile and advised she can cancel my non-refundable 2nd stay for another 2 nights to which i shut up cuz your not going to take my money and not allow me to stay then proceeded to tell me for $40 i can check-in early told her im ok then lowered it to $20 after asking how many where staying in the rm (just me) then before giving my $50 deposit back asked if i just wanted to leave it um no. Got back to check in around midnight same guy whontells me no rooms available um what i have a reservation basically have to take a single okay whatever cuz again nonrefundable reservation and they put me in rm

Towels were very raggedy and had stains. Comforter was ripped with cloth coming out. Women’s hair found in bed and shower. Shower rusty and moulded ceiling ceilings. It’s kind of what you expect for paying a very cheap motel but it definitely needs some work

The owner was extremely rude, intentionally unhelpful and unprofessional. Dirty rooms with mouse and rat poop under the sink. Yellow water, hair clogged in the drain. Holes in the walls.

This place need remodeling bad... bathroom ceiling was coming down. Based Boards coming off the walls. The curtains did not even fit the windows. I felt i had no privacy at all. Carpet had cut toe nails in it. And the room reak of smoke from cigarettes...

Nothing in the booking said there was a cash security deposit required along with the booking fee at time of check in. The room was small, not the most clean, and the bathroom ceiling looked like it had been moldy at one point and half cleaned. AC worked- but was EXTREMELY noisy and made it hard to sleep with the crazy rattling. The shower worked, technically. Most of the things weren’t actually mounted and attached to the wall like you’d expect from a functioning shower. When we went to leave, we had to wait for them to “ok” the room so that we could actually check out and receive our security deposit back. Thankfully we weren’t in a hurry- it took like 20 minutes before he radioed back saying it was okay.

Bed is very comfortable. Mini fridge/freezer is not very reliable. Either freezes everything, or doesnt cool enough.

When I put the address in for Budget Inn in Boise, it said permanently close. Well it wasn’t and should have been. Where to start: 1. The owner parks his car under the awning where guess are to check in. 2. It’s a U-haul storage business. They park the big trucks in the parking spots, right in front of your room. So you have to walk around them to get into your room. Very sad situation! 3. I had to sit in bed and wipe my feet off before crawling into bed. The floor was that dirty. 4. The hot water was an orange/rust color coming out of the sink. 5. WiFi would drop all the time. 6. TV wasn’t working properly on local channels. Scattered picture, one could view. There was sound. 7. The bed spread top cover had holes, that my feet would stick through. 8. Sneaky billing…they had a deposit of $50.00, which was no problem, all motels have this. But, if you did not go to the office and check out, when time to leave, with your credit card, they would add it to your bill. So, if you needed to leave early, before the office opened. You were out of luck, and charged. 9. I had to go ask at the office for wash clothes. As there was none in the room. 10. My recommendation: Stay away!

The room was ancient; the couch was one foot from the bed, making it unusable. The desk chair was again so close that it was challenging to use. The staff was rude, asking for a 50.00 dollar cash deposit before assigning a room which was prepaid on a major credit card.

Cheap hotel, expectations weren't high. Internet is worthless, but they are just a couple minutes walk from the Boise river and have a decent dinner in the same parking lot. My biggest problem is they came pounding on my door at 9am. I just drove 500 miles! I don't need some ahole pounding on my door and waking me up 2 hours before check out!! If you want to do that then give us door hangers that say "do not disturb!"

“B” who works the night desk was very unprofessional and downright rude. I unable to check in after having a booking through this account in my name, booking in my name, and card in my name; and refused check in due to my partner having an expired id which we been waiting on in the mail (he said this was industry standard nor specific to the location). I tired to explain to B that we had drove from the middle of wyoming for 11 hours and just needed a place to sleep to get back on the road to california but he would hear it and got rude when i explained we never experienced such a requirement in any state or rental option we’ve been to and that all necessary info was in my name, and we were both over 21. B refused a refund and went back to watching tv and eating in the lobby which he was doing before i walked in. I called the next day to to speak to management (A) and they told me that the id requirement is location policy (its not on the property policies section on here or posted in their lobby) and was told that it is known that B is very rude to customers (so dont be shocked if you receive the same treatment). I wouldnt even look at this place as an option, pay a couple more dollars and go to a place that wont give a headache at 11pm after driving the whole day.

It was the worst "hotel" I have ever stayed in. We almost just left even though it was non- refundable; the guy who checked us in was a complete jerk, the absolute most horrible customer service I've experienced. The room was awful. A huge picture on the wall was hanging crooked by one nail, the only "comforter/blanket" on the bed was ripped everywhere, several stains that looked like blood on the carpet and we were charged a $50 "incidental" deposit (which took 4 days to get back) and there were no "incidentals" in the room/fridge to even put a deposit down for. When we went to the front office to check out, the attendant made us stand there and wait while he hollered "room check" over his radio and he wouldn't check us out until the guy on the other end of the radio came back and told him that we hadn't destroyed the room. It was insulting and had to be the the most unbelievable "thanks for staying with us farewell" I've encountered. It made us feel like we were criminals. I will never stay there again even if it's the only hotel available. I'd rather sleep in my car. That place should be condemned.

And when I was in the bathroom the man came into my room even after I put the lock on. I was alone in the room so it scared me and made me very uncomfortable. When I called the office the owner of the place just made an excuse as to why he came in. Then as I was checking out and my husband addressed the situation the girl at the front desk felt bad but the owner didn’t care. They still charged for a late check out even after our privacy was violated. The room was also falsely advertised. Owner is an actual Psycho! Screaming at her employees when they greeted me. I booked a double queen so as not to appear alone and she screamed that I could only have a single. I politely asked if I could just cancel and she told me to ‘get the f*ck out b*itch’ Then would not refund my money.

DO NOT STAY AT THE PROPERTY. AVOID AT ALL COST. I stayed her passed through going to washington state and we needed a place for quick rest. Trust me when I say I immediately regretted staying there. The staff was unprofessional, yelling, and the owner Ms. Patel, so she claimed to be, was very rude. I booked through Expedia and was charged immediately. When I arrived on the property the owner charged me an additional room instead of just the deposit. I was told I would be refunded but still have not received a refund over a week later. I’ve tried contacting Ms. Patel and I keep being told they are, “Busy,” or, “Working on it.” Still have yet to get an update on my refund. I cannot stress enough, pay a little more and stay somewhere else. Aside from issue with the refund, the room itself was disgusting. The bathroom was dirty, lights did not work, and bathroom door was falling apart.

The woman at the front desk is mean, abusive, and yells at you. At check out, I was screamed at, threatened, and then locked out of the lobby for no reason. There were used needles in the parking lot. I had to cancel my credit card and call the police while traveling because they threatened to charge it over and over again.

It was very pleasant. The young lady Aleina Devin checked us in quite late and checked us out the next morning. She was very welcoming and it was a nice gesture especially since we had been traveling all day. Your company would benefit greatly by having people like her working for you. I will definitely stay again if I get the opportunity.

I bet if I’d read reviews I’d never have stayed here but frankly I was desperate and what I learned is this is a place you stay if you’re desperate. I got bedbugs here bitten all over my legs and arms and i slept on top of the comforter because it had so many holes in it I couldn’t bring myself to pull it down and I really needed to get some sleep. Then I shaved in the sink and I always wear shower slippers but I realized the sink was leaking and had left a huge puddle. So I dried it up with a towel which turned the towel black. They almost didn’t give me back my security deposit because of it. The front desk agent was kind enough. But I’m still recovering from the bedbugs. I didn’t realize it was next to a shelter until I was driving away.

Proximity of the property to downtown and key locations is great. But the property is OLD and rundown. One of our two rooms was not cleaned or made up when we opened the door. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but now sure how they could miss that. There is one chair and a bed in each room. Unlike the beds, you can't change the linens on the chairs. They were disgusting. At least the bed linens were clean. Seemed to be a lot of weekly renters (fixing cars, just hanging around, etc.,). We chose the location and price for ease of access and some quick zzz's before heading to the airport. Great if your budget is low but you'll get what you pay for.

I wanted a reasonably-priced place to stay for a few nights near the Greenbelt. This was a block-and-a-half away. The office was neat with many plants. The person at registration was pleasant and professionally dressed. I would recommend live plants in the pots outside the office door, but other than that - the motel had good signage, updated and neutral-tones facade. The parking lot was in need of repair and resurfacing, but that is a big ticket item and likely in the works for this old motel. Sharing the parking lot is a breakfast diner that seemed to have a solid, local patronage and around the corner from that is a McD's. The temp was high 90's during my stay and the wall a/c unit worked great. As in all old motels, the interior was a mixed-bag and to be expected for the price. The TV screen was big enough. The furniture matched. The flooring was laminate in the bed area. The tub was large. The refrigerator was large for a mini and worked well, as did the microwave. The bed was comfortable (I would lose the bedskirt as that is a dated look). The blackout draperies completely closed. Bring extra pillows if you like more than two. The towels were clean, though inexpensive and sometimes stained a bit. The room was very clean and the staff I saw was always engaged in their work. It was really quiet as motels go!

Property is nice enough able to park in front of my room. Looking forward to having breakfast at the cafe. One problem I did have was that my map program show this property as being permanently closed, had me worried but I had faith in Expedia.

I've been coming here for about 40 years, It was the Capri long ago like the restaurant in the parking lot. On a whim I tried another placed down the street and wasn't satisfied so I checked out and immediately came back to the Budget. This place is an old friend and I'm sorry I didn't just come here first. This isn't the ritz, it's a working mans stop! Its not for everyone, I've read the reviews. The iconic Capri diner is just steps from your room. Thank you @ Budget Inn for being there when I come through town! Mike C.

This is an older property. It has received some bad reviews, undeserved, i think. Some of the repairs are amateurish, but they worked. The staff were friendly. Having a restaurant next door was nice.

Disgusting rooms, rude staff. They charged us twice the amount of security deposit and refused to refund it after we checked out. Also they left us with a clogged toilet for 8 hours. We had to go to a diner to be able to use the restroom. I am appalled this hotel is in your network. This was our first vacation and experience using your company. If these are the types of hotels your site allows, then I would strongly suggest to others to use a different site. I guess we will see what you hotels.com will do for us?
