Pros: - hotel returned emails quickly - fridge - Microwave - Coffee Pods Cons: Booked two rooms in one booking. We had to ask about the second room. - Booked in one booking but we were separated by 6 floors. Asked to be changed to be closer and they said they were fully booked out. - Balcony doors were very hard to open - THE WORST: One room still had used soap and shampoo in the shower and shower had not been cleaned. We only noticed this late that night when going to use the shower (no reception at this point). Let them know in the morning and they said they would take care of it that day. We went out and enjoyed our day/night. That night again when going to shower it still had not been removed or cleaned! Went down the next morning and they again said they would do it. When we arrived back that afternoon it still had not been done, though they had been in, had replaced the towel, a coffee pod and wiped down the sink, they had not cleaned the shower or removed used items. I went down and spoke to the person on reception and he didn't know what I was talking about. A person on the cleaning staff overheard us and asked, I let her know and she said she would do it then. All that was done was the used items were removed, the shower still not cleaned! -smell of smoke and could hear dogs in the rooms - you could hear guest next door and their tvs -pool deck was falling inwards and rusted step ladder

The reviews suggested 4.5 stars, which I cannot understand how. The place wasn’t clean, they only change your towels and sheets every 4 days, there were no towels for the pool half the time.

Everything has been pretty good, not the newest condition (they are about to renovate) but cleaningness is not an issue, water was hot and air conditioning was functioning well and quiet. Was not aware that parking needs to cost extra, and that it could be already fully booked, would prefer this to be clearly advertised in their details. We had to park at another carpark across the road, which was even cheaper than their own carpark.

The Punt Hill apartment was so comfortable with a clean room & kitchenette. Downstairs is a cafe which was so handy for breakfast. Parking onsite was great especially as it rained durung my stay. Above all the gentleman at the desk in the afternoon was really helpful & very friendly.

Really good location. Hotel is a bit old and not like the photos. I don't think its 4stars more like 3. Perhaps for a coupke of days is ok. We were there four weeks and housekeeping was not good. But if you ask for soap, towels etc they try to help. I had to ask many times so it was tiring.

Severe Cleanliness Issues, Appalling Guest Treatment, Potential Health Hazard (Feces on Carpet/Bed) This hotel is a health hazard and the management could not care less. Initial State: The room was clearly unclean upon arrival. Food debris, used dishes, and noticeable stains indicated a lack of basic cleaning standards. A mildew smell suggested issues with the air conditioning system which would become very evident. . A/C Failure & Damage: The air conditioning malfunctioned on two occasions, completely soaking the bed. During one incident, I lost a valuable personal item while protecting my equipment from water damage. The object appeared to have been thrown out in the wet linens. Dismissive Staff: When I reported these major problems, the front desk Manager offered no meaningful solutions. His dismissive attitude was shocking. I was told to look into the QLD Innkeeper's Act myself, that I wouldn’t be compensated for the night and that it was not the hotel's problem. Unacceptable Risk: As a molecular biologist, I was alarmed by the unsanitary conditions. I personally took swab samples and my professional analyses confirmed my concerns - the presence of a variety of harmful bacteria and fungi, including those associated with fecal matter. Constant Alarms: Smoke alarm beeped for 2.5 days before being fixed. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. It poses potential health risks and demonstrates a complete disregard for guest well-being.

Toilet bowl had dirty stains and I informed the front desk which he came to clean right away. The shower area was filthy with hair and mold!!! Really was disgusting. I could not shower the following day. But the aircon works. And the kitchen sink was dirty too.

The room itself was nicely presented but hid some issues. The curtains were damaged and couldn't be closed fully. Likewise the balcony door. 5th floor so locking it wasn't an issue but not being able to close it meant an extra bit of street noise. The toilet fill screached to the extent it couldn't be flushed at night withoult loosing a banshee for a full 3 minute rant. Toiletry products were pretty good. Microwave needs a service, does a good imitation of a 1970s hairdryer. These issues are pretty minor and easy to work around. All in all it's agreat place to stay.

Firstly, the check-in experience was very bad, the pictures didn't match the actual room and the room smelled strongly of bad perfume; secondly, my deposit still hasn't been refunded from the time I ended my order; thirdly, I paid for two days' parking but I wasn't refunded for the second day's parking. I booked a total of two days but on the first day of my stay I asked the front desk for a refund for the second day. The receptionist that night was for a lady and she was very nice in resolving the issue for me and told me that I could check out the next day and return the deposit. However, when I made the check out the next morning, the man at the front desk not only told me that I could not check out, but after I informed him of yesterday's situation, he said the F word while communicating with the previous lady, which I thought was not only rude, but at the same time told me that Expedia cancelled my check out request. However, Expedia did not cancel it and still received a refund afterwards, this staff member lied to me. Also, because I didn't check in the next day, my parking fees, were not returned to me. I will not recommend this hotel as this man staff had a poor attitude and was not willing to solve the problem for the customer.

One of the Worst nights of my life!!!!! From 10pm noisey guests on my level. Then 1am the chaos started. Drugged up, drunk and extremely noisy guests on my floor went on till 5am. Smashed doors continuously and banging I was staying alone being female I was terrified. No support felt unsafe. Scared and shaken traumatised to say the least. After hours tried to assist over the phone but took 4hrs. I finally got another room on another floor at 5.30am. I’ve never in my life been so shaken. Guy banging on my door yelling for hours. Sat in reception for 2hrs waiting for security. No one should have had to feel unsafe in any surrounding, especially one I’ve paid for. Will be taking this further. I feel so sick and can’t stop shaking.

The Punt Hill apartments has unbelievable close proximity to the CBD Brisbane. The pool is awesome, the staff are fun and friendly. It is a word of caution though to take care at night when entering the building Re; keep keys handy as there is a public carpark next door. Other than that the rooms are lovely and the surrounding businesses Cafes, Pubs are terrific ⭐️

A wonderful experience from check in to check out. Friendly staff. Well appointed spacious room. Will definatly stay again. Only had a take away coffee fron the cafe onsite, good price and very nice. Menu looked amazing but after a big night out i couldn't really eat a breakfast.
