Very characterful. Lovely dining room but more pub bar feel elsewhere. Rooms really nice old black beam and pretty. Comfortable bed with nice linen, lots of pillows, wardrobe and chest of drawers . Well planned out and spacious. Kettle tea coffee etc. Nice eating area upstairs but pub very flexible if you preferred to breakfast downstairs. Really nice outside sitting area. A bit worn but that added to charm. Food nice and accommodating to meal choice changes or requests. It was hot weather and rooms all had fans. Quite central location ie. we visited Stratford and local villages stately homes etc. Nice range of drinks beer wine etc. Wine was in large separate cooler and good choice. You pre-order breakfast night before. Maybe a continental style as well as cooked would be good option as well. Atmosphere very welcoming. Staff and landlord could not have been nicer and were ideal hosts, friendly and genuinely interested in who you were and where from. I will remember sitting outside in the patio garden area with a glass of wine after a nice meal listening to bellringing practice from local village church as a highlight to my trip. Lovely.

We stayed here for 3 nights when visiting the Game Fair at Ragley Hall. Whilst our double room was not huge, the bed was comfy and the room had character. The staff were wlcoming e The pub serves a good selection of food, including steaks and freshly made pizza, both wew great. Lots of parking and a pleasant outside area to rge rear.

Must be honest: neither welcome nor unwelcome = indifferent. Despite me thinking that my request for a meal made in advance had been met with an affirmative, "Chef went at 5. There's pizza outside if you want, can bring it in." = no meal after 3 hours driving. Didn't mention the shop 300 metres along the street which luckily was open, so I got food. Didn't mention the other pub across the green. Like I said, indifferent. I had to ask about the internet, which did not work anyway. Loud "music" in the bar but, to be fair, I did get a quiet room as requested, and the young lady who took me to my room was friendly enough. No functioning heating in the room. Had to work out breakfast for myself. Found the breakfast order form, duly filled it in. Sort of uphill all the way. Breakfast was provided as asked but why oh why leave the butter pack by the hot food so that liquid butter ran on to the plate? Still breakfast adequate and server friendly. Comparing with "The Fox" at Much Wenlock, I cannot recommend the Bulls Head at Inkberrow.Which is very sad.
