The room was very dated and needed refurbishing. Some cobwebs and dust. A dead moth under the bed. Very poor decorating clearly not done by a professional. The bed was comfortable and bedding clean. Breakfast was ok. No offer of white or brown bread, the eggs were pale yellow tasted like cheap eggs. Paid £80 inc breakfast on a Saturday night so not cheap but not mega expensive. Personally we wouldn’t stay again.

Room was clean and tidy, Dated, Too much gap around door letting light through. Staff behind bar were very welcoming but one staff member who showed us to our room was very nervous ,she also helped with breakfast. Bar & dinning area was a bit mis matched, No table clothes, No placemats, only Weetabix as a choice, use of Plastic through away glasses , they have a Bar so they need to use Glass ones. Wasn't asked how we like out Eggs or choice of bread. When we booked they do evening Meals ? They did not inform us on arrival that their Cheif had left So no food available in the Evenings. A few tweaks it would be a nicer pub.

Staff were fine and so was the food but the room left a lot to be desired. The bathroom door did not close properly, the light in the bathroom was very dim. The macerator made a very loud noise and the lino was coming away from the floor. There were screws missing from the bed frame and the whole room could have done with a deep clean and some maintenance
