The Stokesay Inn

Don’t be fooled by the exterior, looks like the place could do with a little maintenance/upgrades. The room was excellent, clean, comfortable with a sparkling new bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Best part of the stay was the staff, warm, friendly and welcoming as though you are family. Don’t expect to rush your breakfast, one person does it all! Cleans , serves and cooks. She’s worth her weight in gold.

Limited cereals and no fruit or yoghurt, but lovely cooked traditional breakfast.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, location is really good near the visitor centre. Sunday lunch was very enjoyable, out in the beer garden. It is not the Ritz, obviously, but for the price I paid, totally fine. Excellent shower and great to find a single room available. Unfortunately the mattress was not good.

Staff were very welcoming, room was clean and well kept, with tea/coffee making facilities and toiletries. They catered for my needs as a vegetarian - the food served in the pub is excellent and the Guinness is well kept! The staff fitted breakfast requirements around my need to catch particular trains. Would definitely stay there again.

Nothing to complain about...room great..staff wonderful..breakfast a great start ti the day. Needs a heater in the shower room but Im a wuss so ok for most people. Would stay again sure...must get fosters on tap!!
