Breakfast was okay but used dishes were not replaced daily so milk left starts to smell no where to wash them or anything to dry them with I expect on holiday and staying in a hotel better Breakfast facilities Carpet had seen better days and had some staining plus there was a dip in the floor boards near to where the fridge was whichbwas very small and stood on the floor.

The hotel was undergoing some refurbishment and we had difficulty getting in. Eventually a guest told us to ring a bell at the side of one of the doors in the foyer of the side entrance to speak to the proprietor. Also we had trouble getting the TV to work as only the Sky box worked but no instructiins on how to connect it to the right channel.

No light on in hotel on arrival, front door locked, rang bell no answer, phoned hotel straight to answer machine, read note hanging off the front door deliveries to side of building, side door open nobody around went through several doors shouting hello but nobody answered went through private door and got someone who got the key for room. 83 year old lady had to then walk up four flights stairs room in the attic was family room. Went into room and put kettle on as room was cold. I went to get an extra heater back to the private area as nobody was around. I found the lady before I could ask her anything a man rudely shouted what was I doing in this private area I told him I had shouted hello to get a heater but nobody answered. He told me if I needed help I should have rung a bell that I had not noticed was there. He told me he would bring an extra heater up. There was a cold continental breakfast laid out on the table for Saturday. The next morning while we were eating our continental breakfast there was a knock at the door and a lady asked if everything was ok and I said yes not realising what she actually meant was do we want the room cleaned. When we arrived back at the hotel on the Saturday the room was not cleaned and there was no breakfast in the room. At 9am the Sunday morning I went to see if we could get a breakfast she asked if everything ok we told her we were not happy with hotel travelled a lot and this hotel was not comfortable, inviting good repair
