Overall, the stay was pleasant, and the location was convenient for exploring the surrounding area. However, I would like to share a few suggestions that could improve the experience for future guests. The main issue was the private bathroom. Although it was listed as a private bathroom, it was located outside the bedroom. This was not clearly communicated in the room description, and it came as an unexpected surprise. For guests concerned about privacy, having to leave the room to access the bathroom can be quite inconvenient. It would be helpful if this information were stated more clearly before booking. I also noticed that the carpet looked quite worn and could benefit from a deeper clean or replacement, as this would improve the overall comfort and cleanliness of the room. While I appreciate the accommodation, I felt that the overall experience did not fully match what I would expect from a property in this price range. I hope this feedback is taken in the constructive spirit intended, as I believe these improvements would make future guests' stays even more enjoyable.

Food was generally poor - they have a captive audience and don't seem to care

Staff was wonderful. The food was very good and the location worked well for our plans.

Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked each morning, evening meals were of a good standard and choice all staff were very friendly,

The room was clean & we had a nice meal, however we asked for breakfast at 8am due to a ride event we were attending. However, the following day no breakfast was available & the chef was unaware of our request, which was a shame & left with no food. Also, on the Expedia site the room I booked was £52 each, but I was charged £112, & not sure where the fault lies though suspect it is Expedia
