Convenient underground parking, daily room service. Wonderful “Zen” garden area with comfortable seating and gas fire tables - this area was very quiet and relaxing. Room was comfortably appointed, bed was very comfortable. Hotel was in the centre of Niagara on the Lake, could walk to everything: dining, shopping and staff at hotel were amazing! Loved our complimentary bottle of wine, Thank you!

Great staff, beautiful room, perfect location and parking included. Minor issues with room like a broken utility closet lock and the candle remote not working. The hydrotherapy room was disappointing: broken features on the sensory shower, no body scrub available, jaccuzi water spouts were rusted. Not worth the $95 cost. I wish the hotel had room servive or breakfast options all week. The NOTL restaurant was excellent. Best Burger ever. Beautiful spot to dine. The zen garden out back was tranquil and quiet. Lovely spot to relax.

Has potential to be excellent but is currently uneven. From check in to departure we experienced both outstanding and disappointing details. Check in desk had no one there when we arrived. Then the young lady who emerged from the back room carried on with her eyes glued to the screen in her hand and ignored us. Finally a young man returned from what he was doing and acknowledged us. No one at check in shared any details about the property such as how it was laid out , where to park, what amenities they had, what their dining options were. No one asked if we needed info about the town . Overall a very poor front desk and check in on the Sunday we arrived. The room was large and well appointed but not as clean as you would expect. The restaurants had some excellent food and three excellent servers but were woefully understaffed leaving us waiting too long to get greeted at the table, get water and get to order. Once the server arrived they were excellent. Same with the meals. The spa was the biggest disappointment. I would say do not bother. They overcrowd it. Especially the hydrotherapy circuit. Not enough room and not cleaned well enough. And that was on a weekday. Can’t imagine a busy weekend. I hope the place can iron out the uneven service and cleanliness. It has the potential to be the best around. They need more and better trained or just better staff.

Hotel was convenient and walkable to water, shopping and restaurants. They even have a trolley to local wineries if needed. We appreciated all the extra amenities, but small note, perhaps they should be listed somewhere when you check in. We didn’t find the zen garden until the morning we left because it’s not on the property map. Overall beautiful and comfortable hotel!

Did not like the spa. Most expensive (and not fantastic) pedicure I have ever experienced. Could not use the hot tub or pool without a $100 extra charge. I may have mis-understood the gentleman at reception who told us that we could ask for a shuttle to take us to any of the wineries listed. When we asked on Monday at 1 pm for this service, we found out that it was not available until 4 pm and was booked.

This was our second time staying here. The front desk staff were friendly, considerate, and accommodating. The restaurant was excellent! The one major problem this visit was the cleanliness of our room. Two of our three day stay we had to ask to get our room cleaned. One day they didn’t remove dirty dishes nor our used towels. When we shared this with the front desk staff at checkout she refunded us the resort fee.

Our room was in a separate building so it didn't feel like we were staying at the hotel. The room was nice enough but the AC was really loud and hard to control, the internet reception was not good. The baseboards were not clean. Overall we had a nice stay but expected more based on the price.

Absolutely LOVE so much about this hotel. The custom scent in the lobby is heaven, perfect location in old town NOTL, and in general all good things. Negs: My one star drop is, my room was directly next to the elevator on the second floor and you hear SO much noise: elevator dinging, people talking getting on/off the elevator, it was very disruptive. I’d stay again, just in a different room for sure.

Staff were warm and the hotel room was amazing clean and well designed. I would stay there again. The only issue was the vibration sound coming from both the fire place and the furnace in the room which would wake us up abruptly around 2am and we wouldn’t be able to sleep the rest of the night til it shut off. This could be due to the cold NOTL was getting or lack of soundproofing around the furnace as it’s built into the coat cabinet. The worst of it happened the last two days of the trip were we were unable to sleep all night. I had to turn off the heat for a short reprieve of the noise and then it started up again. I even tried sleeping with noise canceling headphones that’s how desperate I was to get sleep.

This is a lovely property and enjoyed our stay overall. My only issues were the walls and floors are very thin and you can hear the other guests talking in their rooms. There is no desk and only one chair in the room we stayed in, and there was no luggage rack. The room was small and a bit cramped.

The stay was excellent regarding the hotel and dining services. Staff of front desk were excellent. Ice was delivered to the room, but an ice machine on the first floor would have been good. HOWEVER, the stay was seriously marred/ruined by an inept Spa manger that cancelled a massage instead of ONLY a Hydro Therapy Service experience!! Indeed the spa manager was rude and unsympathetic to a mistake made by her. Better Customer Service is desperately needed by Spa management. Before a client's service is to be cancelled, a clear written message of agreement, between Spa and Client, needs to be enacted.

Then the young lady who emerged from the back room carried on with her eyes glued to the screen in her hand and ignored us. Finally a young man returned from what he was doing and acknowledged us. No one at check in shared any details about the property such as how it was laid out , where to park, what amenities they had, what their dining options were. No one asked if we needed info about the town . Overall a very poor front desk and check in on the Sunday we arrived. The room was large and well appointed but not as clean as you would expect. The restaurants had some excellent food and three excellent servers but were woefully understaffed leaving us waiting too long to get greeted at the table, get water and get to order. The front desk staff are a delight - the ease with which you can contact them (simply text the number on your key card) was so good. Every hotel needs to do this. The updated rooms are super nice and the bathrooms are the same. Had dinner at the NOTL restaurant downstairs and have nothing bad to say about any of it (had the burger, steak frites and the tuna appetizer). Took the brownie to go and can confirm that that was also delicious. Just stay here - you’ll love it.

We loved our stay at the 124 Queen Hotel and Spa. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The bartender was friendly, the housekeeping staff said hello, our shuttle driver was welcoming, and upon our arrival, we were given a free upgrade which was amazing (must note that we arrived in the off-season on a Wednesday). The room was exceptionally clean and modern. The one-bedroom suite was spacious and extremely comfortable! We were able to walk to nearby shops and restaurants. If we wanted to venture further, it was great to have the shuttle service as an option. We will definitely return to 124 Q Hotel and Spa. We will also tell our friends and family about it!

It was a centrally located within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. What we didn't like. We checked in late (7pm) for a one night stay on a Monday night (aug 12), we were tired and wanted something to eat at the hotel's restaurant. The hostess was totally not accommodating and advised that we must have reservations, and that she could make one in 1 hours time. We were disgusted with this type of treatment and chose to visit another restaurant nearby. Considering the high room rates and the reputation the hotel is trying to uphold, we expected that we would be given better service by the hostess. This employee should have situational and emotional intelligence, as they are acting as the fact of the hotel services. Everything else (check in, room, etc) was ok, considering the cost of the room.

We have been visiting Niagara on the Lake since 2015 and stayed at 124 on Queen multiple times. This time around, we were sad to conclude that it has become a victim of its own success. We booked a suite for one night which amounted to over $750 including taxes and fees. The hotel was clearly understaffed, and the staff were not empowered to make effective decisions to make our experience better. There was a lineup of 15 minutes long at check in. We could not make use of the rental bikes because another patron walked away with the key, and the staff opted to chase after them instead of simply cutting the cheap wire lock to accommodate our limited time in town. They said they would text when the room was ready (they didn’t) and when the bike lock key would be found (they didn’t). The housekeeping came knocking on the door in the morning because, of course, the reception hadn’t told them that we had arranged for a late checkout. There was no knife in the kitchen, no cork screw and no kettle - and we didn’t feel like asking for those because of the lineups and staffing issues. I don’t think we’ll be returning to the property where a guest feels like another body to be housed with no regard to their preferences or quality of experience.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary trip to NOTL. The hotel was beautiful and the location (right in downtown NOTL) was perfect. We experienced no issues and the hotel provided everything we needed. Very clean and well-kept property. The underground attached garage parking was free and easy, which is always a plus. Starbucks is attached to the building, which was also convenient. There's a small grocery store just steps away as well. The Falls are only 20 mins away. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting NOTL.

The hydrotherapy room was disappointing: broken features on the sensory shower, no body scrub available, jaccuzi water spouts were rusted. Not worth the $95 cost. I wish the hotel had room servive or breakfast options all week. The NOTL restaurant was excellent. Best Burger ever. Beautiful spot to dine. The zen garden out back was tranquil and quiet. I went there to celebrate my mother’s birthday. She had an amazing time at the spa, accompanied by a delicious dinner at the hotels restaurant and an enjoyable stay inside the hotel room. The hotel staff are extremely polite, kind and give amazing service. We will definitely be coming back!!

What a GREAT place. We feel so fortunate to have been able to stay there last minute. Great staff; friendly and very helpful. Room was beautiful as were the entire grounds. Our stay at 124 on Queen Hotel & Spa was absolutely excellent. The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable, and well-kept, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. The restaurant was amazing - both the food and atmosphere were outstanding. The staff at both the hotel and restaurant were warm, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel at home.
