Lovely room with great views. Spotlessly clean. Friendly staff. Really good quality and nicely presented food. Private reading / games room for guests was a really welcome touch. The only fault was the bad smell from the shower drainage pipes in our room, which meant we had to leave the windows open and extractor fan running all night. Other than that I would certainly recommend.

Nice clean place but only shower gel hand soap and body lotion was provided. No shampoo and conditioner. No biscuits with tea and coffee in room.

This is an excellent place to stay. The food is very good indeed. We booked last minute, risking what the building was like. We don't like lots of stairs and there are lots. So if we go again we have sorted out which room we would stay in for minimal steps. The staff couldn't be more helpful. The building is built into a hillside, its old and very pretty. The location is amazing.
