Very welcoming and friendly staff. Room is great but a little tired in places but it is very clean and tidy. The grounds are beautiful with lovely walks.there is a play park in the trees, tennis courts, frisbee golf and putting. There is also a small soft play room for under 7’s. The swimming pool and changing rooms are very clean with towels provided. Breakfast is served in the restaurant. You order from a menu rather than having a buffet breakfast. The staff again were welcoming and friendly. The hotel is in a good location, close to St Andrews, Anstruther and Elie. We will definitely return.

We turned into the drive and as we approached the castle it was a real wow moment. The disappointment was that check In for our room was at the leisure centre desk, I so wanted to walk up the steps of the castle and take in the atmosphere. Saying that the staff were all very very friendly, courteous and loved petting our dog. The food in The Bistro was amazing, we arrived on steak night and it was cooked to perfection. The grounds were very peaceful to walk around, very well maintained. We will definitely come back and book a castle room
