Les Appartements du Vieux Port

This property is ideally located just a couple of blocks from the Vieux Port and surrounded by great stores, restaurants and cafes. The apartment was immaculate and well furnished with good AC, a comfortable bed, and nice funishing. NOTE: It is a six-storey building with no elevator and winding stairs. If you don't like stairs, make sure you confirm a lower floor unit when you book. The advantage of the top floor is that we had a good-sized furnished terrace.

NOTE: Check with the office to confirm what floor you'll book as there is no elevator. Great location a block from port & Metrol stop (excellent soundproofing no noise). Apartment: very nice, large, bedroom roomy & quiet, good bed, lots of drawers, closet space. Bathroom & shower very roomy. Big washing machine, soap & drying rack. Kitchen as shown in pix big frig. Where it went wrong: The staff, pretty & cheerful, not very competent. Girl at check-in said she'd be up in 10 min to show us how things worked. BUT a worker was painting the apt when we got in: he'd been told it was empty (we'd conf. 3:30). He finished, left. We settled in, the desk girl never arrived. We called down, "Oh, I thought the worker showed you around?" Nope. By then wanted to go walking, didn't want to wait for her. 2nd evening tried to use the stove: didn't working. Receptionist came up, also couldn't get it to work. Said it was too late to get fixed but she'd arrange for it to be done first thing in the AM 3rd day, hadn't heard anything, called again: Desk didn't know about the stove, but found a note. Said she would contact repair. Two guys arrived 10:30 said they'd fix it.. We went out to do tourism, no call from them, so ate out. Called the office again. No, wasn't fixed. So, three days with no way to cook? They suggested we cut short our day, come back pack up, haul bags 4 floors down, get new apt in diff bldg, carry bags up 3 floors. No offer to help with luggage or apology. Nice apt, Staff? Uhh

The apartment location is second to none! Right in the center of shopping, restaurants, nightlife. Two blocks east of old port. Looks new or recently renovated inside. Very clean and spacious. Staff was pleasant. Owner spoke English well. Other staff not as well but good enough and were very helpful! Only downside is no elevator so the climb of 57 steps up the narrow staircase to our 3rd floor apartment was a bit of a challenge but helped us work off the food and drink we consumed during the day! :)

A nice, clean, comfortable apartment which was ideal for a 4 night stay. The bedroom was small but overall, everything did what it needed to. Please note before you book, this is a third floor walk up.

The property was very clean, Eduard was really nice, the only problem is there is NO ELEVATOR and it was really hard to go 3 stories up and down with the suitcases, if you have problems with steps or if you are handicapped this place is NOT for you. The room La Perle has 2 severe problems: 1- there are no blackout draperies only very thin sheers and there is a PUBLIC LIGHT that comes right into your EYES making impossible for anybody to sleep, we hope they fix that for future guests, also the cigarette odor makes us impossible to sleep, my sister did not handle the nicotine well and she was vomiting all night long, they should put smoke alarms or have rooms for smokers and non smokers, because we don't smoke and the odor was terrible. The property is close to the Arab market the Arab area was filthy and very unattractive, do not bother to go there it can be DANGEROUS there.

Too many stairs and the shower flooded too easily. I would not want to return to that apartment.

Great apartment, but parking with a high roof car plus roof box was the horror. All parking garages in the city center have a maximum height of 1.90m. An employee sent me to a parking garage that was unfortunately also too low. In addition, she did not give the crucial hint "reverse out of the one-way street with the car". Therefore, I was guided by the gps over small old town alleys and through a busy marketplace in a very "unfriendly" environment. I was threatened and there was banging against the car. At the rental office the following day I spoke with the competent boss- he told me that I should not have gone that way and he apologized. He could have told me a suitable parking place a bit outside. I should have told the height of the car beforehand by mail. Conclusion: Apartment highly recommended, but clarify in advance the parking options and be properly instructed on site, which way to drive!

Très bon accueil, appartement très propre, joliment décoré,de très belle taille, fonctionnel, et idéalement placé, Les quelques bouteilles dans le frigo et snacks, même si non utilisés / achetés, sont une bonne idee, et la carafe pleine dans le frigo est une attention agréable. Nous avons passé une seule nuit, nous serions bien restés plus longtemps. Il faudrait peut être préciser que l’immeuble ne possède pas d’asenceur et indiquer on étage de K appartement avant la finalisation de la réservation : nous étions au 3 eme étage avec deux personnes âgées, elles ont pu monter les escaliers, mais nous aurions aimé le savoir avant. Tout le reste était parfait !

This place was nice but a few things to be aware of. It is on the 3rd floor with no elevator. This is something that should be advertised. Also, they do not provide enough towels and toiletry. There office is around the block and you need to stop by every time you need more. They should just leave plenty in the apartment. Also, our entire group were invested with bug bites. that was disappointing and probably needs extra cleaning. Lastly they upcharge for little extras like coffee and snacks. It was not a big charge but for the price per night this is just petty. We run an ABNB and we never add these type of charges.

Our stay at Les Appartements was very pleasant. We had a good sized apartment on the 3rd floor which had a view of the port from the balcony. The room was clean, had a comfy bed, full kitted out kitchen and big modern bathroom. The only negative was that there was no lift so carrying a suitcase up the stairs was an effort!! The staff were all friendly and polite and they looked after my wife and I for our wedding anniversary with a complementary bottle of wine which was a lovely gesture! It's in close proximity to the Vieux Port which is lovely with great bars and restaurants. I recommend taking a boat trip to the Calanques! Was absolitely stunning!

The apartment was in good conditions but the building is pretty old. As soon as we got in, there was a cockroach and there is no elevator which is inconvenient if you have heavy luggage. The staff is super friendly. There are many things to do around and its very close to the port! The shower feature is not the best either.

At first the “Tresor”apartment seemed fine, well appointed and the property centrally located. By the smell of fresh wood and design, we could tell it was recently renovated. So far so good. But right before bedtime, I discovered a bedbug crawling on a leg of the kitchen table. We immediately notified reception and once they opened at 9am, staff came to confirm the bedbug and address the problem by steam treating the exposed brick wall. They did not seem surprised at all. However, that very night, we opted to book a room at a hotel in Nîmes for our remaining two days and my only regret is that we didn’t stay here for our entire stay. Upon hurriedly checking out with our two young children to first head to the laundromat to incinerate our luggage and belongings, Marc refunded us the cost of our entire stay with a shrug for our discomfort and inconvenience. Word to wise: the staff know they have a bedbug problem. And unless you want the same, don’t stay here. Choose wisely and choose a differently. Choose Appart’City in Nîmes instead.

We had a great stay in Studio 31. Everything looked brand new and was very tidy. Kitchen w fridge (stocked with beer and wine), microwave, dishwasher and small hob. AC kept us cool during the night. Fantastic bed, we slept like logs. We will be back next time we go to Marseille!

Wonderful, spacious and clean. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Good air conditionning. I would say it sleeps 3, though, not 4. Or one couple and two young children. We had teens, so it was a bit tight for them, but the extra living space and kitchen and amenities made up for all that. There is no elevator though, so if you are on a higher floor, bringing luggage in an out is a fun adventure! Close to a million cafés and restaurants and is a hot spot for nightlife. Very multicultural and vibrant. Marseille is a bit more dirty than we expected, but we still managed to enjoy ourselves.

Great apartment with excellent amenities. We were happy to have a washing machine in the middle of our trip. Neighbourhood is lively with tons of excellent food options, easy access to metro lines, and so close to the port. Would stay here again.

Très bon accueil du personnel. Logement très bien situé. Très propre. Un peu déçus par le fait qu’il n’y avait pas de climatisation dans la chambre donc en juillet très chaud. Et le canapé lit n’est pas un canapé lit mais un simple lit d’appoint. Ce serait bien de rectifier sur l’annonce. De plus pas de drap adapté pour ce type de couchage.

The apartment was beautiful. Simple, clean and had all the amenities you require. Great walkable location. Only downside is the window facing the walkway. Very noisy up till 23:30, then sporadic loud noise from passerbys thru the night.

Grand appartement bien équipé! Super tele! Personnel attentif! Propre et belle deco au gout du jour. Bien situé! Je recommande fortement. Seul bémol mais nous le savions….pas d’ascenceur!

Staff extremely helpful and reacted promptly when I had a difficulty with the cooker.

Nice apartment and location, but poor booking experience I booked through Expedia and soon began receiving outside emails requesting advance payment, even though my Expedia confirmation clearly stated payment was due at check-in. Expedia advised me not to pay, which I followed. When I arrived, the property informed me my reservation had been canceled — even though it still appeared active on my Expedia account. They offered a room but at a higher rate, which I accepted rather than searching for another place. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and in a great central location close to shops, restaurants, and groceries. Staff were friendly, but the misleading payment requests and unexpected cancellation made the experience unnecessarily stressful.

Whole experience was fantastic. Marc responded that the room was available early as we had arrived from another city and was so kind to help carry our luggage up the stairs and show us our apartment. Place is very convenient and super well located! Place is clean, modern and has all the amenities if you wanted to cook. Would definitely recommend!

鍵を受け取りに行くフロントデスクの裏側にアパートメントの入り口があり、便利で安心でした。分からないことは問い合わせるとすぐに返信が来ました。 近くに港、地下鉄の駅、レストラン、スーパーもあり便利な場所でした。 部屋の中は新しく改装されていて、品よく清潔でした。中庭に面していたので夜は静かに過ごせました。

Estadia muito boa , único ponto negativo seria as escadas com malas no qual dão muito trabalho até 2o andar. Em se tratando de edificação antiga , Porto Velho em Marseille , muito difícil elevador nesses locais. Localização perfeita , espaço do apartamento perfeito! Altamente recomendado!

Super zentrale Lage mit vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten drumherum. Der Hafen und alle anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind super gut per Fuß zu erreichen. Ruhig ist es aufgrund der Innenstadtlage naturgemäß nicht.

Excellent property to stay. Closest to the Vieux-port (best area of the city). All the transportation is convenient. Monoprix is closest. Best place to stay.
