Location: A quick, easy walk from KEF airport. Convenience: We arrived at KEF early and were able to easily stow our luggage at the hotel before check-in. This let us take the FlyBus into Reykjavík for the day. Room: Quiet, comfortable, plenty of space for two adults and two teenagers. Breakfast: Open early, excellent choices, a great start before our travel. Staff: Very friendly, helpful. Would absolutely stay again.

Only 5 minutes walk from the airport. Comfortable hotel and friendly staff. Restaurant offered a good choice and opens early for breakfasts . They were happy to hold our luggage whilst we visited blue lagoon before our afternoon connecting flight .

If you need to stay overnight at the airport, this place is perfect. Just realize that there is NOTHING else nearby. Iceland has very little travel options so, your only food options are at the hotel. The room has nice hardwood floors and is decently large. The beds are two singles pushed together, which isn't great, but it's fine. No AC, and while Iceland is often cold, if you do open the window then you'll hear the noisy airport.

Had no sleep due to discomfort and back pain from the very narrow sagging beds which were more like camping cots than beds. These beds are not fit to support the body of a normal size male or female. The hotel didn’t acknowledge the problem- apparently it’s all in my head. In order to get compensation, an Expedia agent asked me for a doctor’s report of my discomfort because the hotel denied a problem with the cots. I paid for normal beds not for cots with sagging mattresses. Shockingly low standards that I have never encountered anywhere in Europe. Wifi was very weak and unpredictable, couldn’t check into my flight. Had to call twice the front desk and wasted a lot of time before they gave me a staff password that worked. Stay away.

My only complaint is that some sort of alarm (smoke?) emitted a very bright light every few seconds. When one is trying to sleep, a dark bedroom is best. I also have a pet peeve with the LED lights on TVs.

Perfekte Lage für letzte Nacht. Leider sind die Wände sehr dünn. Ab 4 Uhr machen sich die Menschen auf den Weg zu ihren Flügen und , ohne dass sie laut sind , wird man geweckt. Auch konnten wir hören, dass unser Nachbar schnarcht. Flughafenlärm hingegen rauscht so vor sich hin, störte uns nicht.

Chose the Aurora for its convenient location. If arriving and going direct, be sure to exit the airport on the 'departures' side for the shortest walk. Bedrooms were pretty lackluster but fine for overnight. No mini fridge and the hotel would benefit in providing them for food/drink storage. Otherwise was pleasantly surprised with the breakfast and latte machine. Lots of hot and cold options.

The staff was nice and the hotel was clean. Having breakfast included in our stay was convenient. Everything else was quite minimal for the price you pay. The mattresses felt well used and the blankets barely fit the bed itself. Towels were also quite small. However it was convenient to the airport for departinf the next day.

La chambre était spacieuse, propre et confortable, et le repas correct. Le personnel, dans son ensemble, s’est montré aimable et professionnel. En revanche, nous avons été extrêmement déçus par l’attitude de la jeune femme en charge de la nuit. Son comportement a été irrespectueux et dédaigneux le soir et le matin : elle a ri à nos remarques et n’a commencé à parler français qu’en fin de discussion, alors qu’elle savait depuis le départ que nous étions francophones. Cette attitude inacceptable a entaché la fin de notre séjour et laisse un souvenir amer, ce qui est vraiment regrettable compte tenu de la qualité de l’établissement et de l’amabilité du reste du personnel.

Best location for a snowy layover! Very flexible checkin (our flight arrived about 2am) and noon check out. Great breakfast. Spotless room with great shower. The front desk staff were so helpful and kind!

As with most airport hotels, its expensive for what you get. However, the airport is a LONG bus ride from Reykjavik so it's good if you have an early or late flight. Location is best described as "in the airport parking lot" rather than at the terminal, so be prepared!

The room and priperty was clean amd comfortable. No frills, but a nice property. The breakfast was very good and offered a wide variety of food items The restaurant opens for dinner only, and had a decent selection, (there isnt much close to the property aside from the airport). Overall, we were quite satisfied with out stay. It was very convenient for catching our morning flight from Keflavik airport (Reykjavik International)

Ich bin positiv überrascht! Dafür, dass es sich um ein Flughafenhotel handelt waren die Zimmer wie auch das Badezimmer sehr gut. Wir hatten ein Zimmer auf der ruhigeren Seite gegen die Küste. Leider waren keine Nordlichter zu sehen. Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend für meinen Geschmack. Nicht zu viel aber alles was man braucht!

Found out after the fact that this was the ONLY hotel located at THIS airport so got very very lucky. Not fancy, very minimalist when it came to room amenities (towels, soap, etc) but restaurant and service was very good, and hotel definitely was convenient to the Iceland International Airport. Would not hesitate to book again.
