Nous avons séjourné une nuit dans ce guesthouse, dans la partie salle de bain commune. Rien a redire. Chambres spacieuse, literie correcte. Il y a un lavabo dans la chambre. Un petit bemol pour la cuisine commune qui est minuscule. Il manquait clairement de la place, de la vaisselle et des services pour le nombre de personnes qui utilisent cet endroit.

Really nice and clean room and the sink inside the room was so helpful! Did my laundry for around $30 USD- dropped it off and it was ready in a few hours. Communal bathrooms and showers were clean too

Lovely guesthouse in the countryside. Horses and sheep nearby. Nicely decorated room with plenty of bathrooms nearby. Very friendly staff. Excellent restaurant for dinner and nice breakfast buffet. Our favorite stay in Iceland!

This place was so charming and we had a wonderful night's stay. The property was quiet, and the shared bathrooms were very clean. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options. We would definitely recommend anyone visiting the area stay here!

Pictures here need updating. Farm Stays since 1984; they've got it right. Rooms in the new building are small but efficient.......they reminded me of stables for size and shape: beds and showers great, no complaints. Lovely small bar and great food for evening meal. Warm and friendly staff.

Great place with everything you need. Very clean and very good food. We had 4 bathroom (2 with showers) for 6 room wich is more than enough. We were staying in the old building and it was great so I can only imagine how nice the new one is...

This place was only about 10 km from Vik…and cheaper than Vik options. You do have shared bathrooms, but it is very clean with a full shared kitchen if you want to cook your own meals. This is a working farm with chickens, goats and sheep. The lamb for dinner is from the farm and simply prepared. It was the best food item I had my entire trip. Staff was incredibly friendly. Service with a smile. My favorite stay in Iceland.

Breakfast menu was very good. Good selection and fresh food. Parking was right next to our room. Very affordable in a land where everything seems expensive.Rooms on the small side, but clean and comfortable, which is what we wanted and paid for. Highly recommended.

Must take shoes off when entering. The WiFi password is within a picture frame on the wall at the entrance, and we couldn’t log on until we figured out those aren’t ohs; they are zeros. And that’s not an 8; it’s a B. The bathroom floor is old and the tiles just don’t get clean. Give the hot water some time. But we liked the place. The cafeteria was a nice place to eat. The bed was comfortable.

Nous étions dans l’ancienne maison. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables (mais quelques taches sur les draps…). Les salles de bain et la cuisine étaient impeccables ! Cuisine parfaitement équipée pour cuisiner, un vrai plus. Très bon petit déjeuner (présence de fruits, ce qui est a noter). Le personnel est vraiment accueillant.

We stayed there for two nights during our trip. The first room was good. Altough we only got a smal electric heater, it was warm and we could dry our clothes. The second night we stayed at another room (we werent 2 days in a row there). Furniture etc was fine, but we saw mold in the corners. The window isnt the biggest and wont open wide, so thats a problem. Our room turned into a sauna because of this. Breakfast was fine, staff was friendly.

We love this place. From the views, to the rooms, to the cleanliness of the shared bathrooms, and especially the breakfast! Everything was well organized, and well communicated.

For a sub $200 night this was a great value. High quality breakfast, multiple showers/restrooms in pristine condition. Was pleasantly surprised by the newness, cleanliness and service. Thank you!

Beautiful guest house in a. Serene location. Our room is very large and has a balcony overlooking the fields of sheep. Lots of birds singing. Downstairs is a small kitchen to share.

Did not have HVAC in room so it was stuffy. Couldn’t open window other attract bugs into room. Everything else was wonderful and staff were very pleasant.

Our family of 5 had a large and comfortable upstairs room at the guest house. It had a nice view of the countryside off of a small balcony. It slept 5 comfortably. The staff were pleasant and the breakfast was included and had a small variety of options that was a good size for the number of guests. The goats next door on the farm were very cute. Thank you for a lovely stay!

It is a good place to stop along the ring road. Staff were friendly and pointed out nearby attractions and restaurants. Our room was comfortable. Wi Fi was fast. The free breakfast was good with many options.

Rooms were small but satisfactory. Bathrooms and showers were down the hall, to be shared with other guests. They were very clean and kept up. I would have liked bathrobe provided for walking to bathroom at night. Our room was extremely hot. And stuffy... heater was unplugged and we couldn’t open the window. We had dinner there. It was very good. Breakfast very good, also. Staff friendly and helpful.

Great guest house on a farm. Good breakfast in the AM to start the day. Room was dorm like in size but bed was comfortable and the staff was good.

Everything about this guesthouse was great. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is hearty. Despite having shared bathrooms, I also found them to be well maintained.

Gorgeous location, clean and modern yet still cozy. Room was super clean and the staff were all welcoming, helpful and a pleasure to talk to.

Easy to park, easy to check out. Front desk staff was super helpful as we arrived past their usual hours. She took the time to call me and make sure I had received the information for our independent check-in process. Beautiful property with a small garden and fresh breakfast.

The breakfast staff and food options were excellent. I love the property and the shared bathrooms were plentiful and very clean. We did have a communication issue the day we checked in. We were due to arrive around 8:30 pm so I called that afternoon to make sure the restaurant would be open and again at 8 pm and both times no answer. We didn’t find out it was closed until it was too late to go anywhere else. After explaining that to the gentleman at the front desk, he just shrugged his shoulders and said an email was sent out to all the guests about it, but we never received that email. We picked this place specifically for the restaurant so it was a big disappointment. I feel like we could have been offered something to purchase, as it is a farm. There is a shared kitchen, if you take your own food. Always carry snacks in Iceland, just in case.

Dilja at checkin and then at the bar was quite friendly and informative. Love the farm with goats around the guesthouse, along with the trees and beautiful nature surrounding the property. The decor was fresh and enjoyable. The entire place was very clean. Good breakfast. During our 9 nights in Iceland this place was in our top two favorites!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The service was excellent, staff was friendly and helpful. They packed us a lunch as we would miss breakfast due to early check out. Our room was clean and comfortable. The setting of the guesthouse was so cute! We will be back

Do NOT book this property through Exp*di@. It’s a nice place to stay, but now that you have found it, PLEASE do yourself a favor and book directly with them. Exp*di@ will not, under any circumstances, share your e- mail addy or ph0ne # with the property and so the Guesthouse staff literally have no way to send you the check-in instructions. Since they are a small property, the place is not staffed 24/7 and the front desk closes at 10p. We got delayed on the road and so would be arriving closer to 11p and realized we had no way to get the key other than message them through Exp*di@ and hope that they got our message. But Exp*di@ blocked out the e- mail address I sent, and my international phone plan did not let me text them (for some reason). It was a disaster and we almost had no place to stay. Now - the Guesthouse is not brand new to this and should have messaged us through Exp*di@ as soon as we booked to let us know of this limitation and how to contact them, and they did not, which is why I took off a star. The room itself was small and stuffy, with an extremely soft bed, but it was an OK place to spend a night. The location was the best part as it got us closer to destinations along the South Coast. The breakfast was extremely disappointing and you should plan on finding food somewhere else in the morning. But with all that said, I’d stay here again if I needed a place to stay in the area and I booked with the Guesthouse DIRECTLY.

Very cute rooms with everything we needed. Comfortable, quiet, and warm place to sleep. There were sustained 50mph winds outside when we were there, but inside you could not tell. No drafts or creaking windows. Blackout curtains worked well (essential for summer). Hearty breakfast was a nice bonus. Staff gave helpful guidance on where to watch out for bad weather while driving. Location is perfect place to stay near the black sand beaches. We were glad we did not stay any further towards Vik because a few minutes past this place is a big hill that we would not have wanted to drive over in extreme weather.

The hotel was adorable, nicely decorated, animals strolling in the nearby fields and was a great location to see some northern lights.

This was a great stay. This property was about 10 miles from the black sand beach and a few more miles from Vik. It is located at the base of a big mountain/glacier and is just about a mile off the main highway. The main building was very nice and the check-in process was quick and easy. The staff was very nice. Our room was for four people and had a private bathroom and shower. Most of the other rooms had shared bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The breakfast was buffet-style and was very good with a variety of sliced meats, cheeses, yogurt, cereal, breads, coffee, and tea. The property was very quiet and had 5 cute goats near the guest building.

Very nice location. It’s in a farm. Very pretty view. It’s very close to the glacier hiking, meuseums, waterfall and the plane wreck.

The room was comfortable and clean. The location of the guesthouse was perfect as a halfway point for my travels. Located close enough to the main road for convenience but still private and quiet.

Perfectly located for us being close the Skogar area hiking that we explored. Especially pleased that there was a restaurant for dining and did not have to go searching for any after a long day of hiking. Accommodations and amenities were top notch.

Posto molto bello e personale molto gentile, siamo stati benissimo. Colazione ottima e varia, abbiamo anche cenato e mangiato molto bene!

Ottima guesthouse, pulita, con colazione inclusa ricca e ottimo ristorante per la cena.

Établissement de très bonne qualité, extrêmement propre et avec beaucoup de charme. Les espaces communs (douche, wc, cuisine) sont très bons. Bien situé près de Vik (quelques kilomètres) et de Dyrolahey et ses colonies de macareux. Petit déjeuner compris, de qualité (avec du monde à l’ouverture, on fait la queue au buffet…) Petit bémol : le restaurant est assez cher, et le menu pas forcément adapté pour des enfants.
