Cranberry Country Lodge

Staff is absolutely wonderful and accommodating. This was one of our many stays here. The biggest downfall was the pool chemicals seemed to be a bit off; everyone ended up with red, burning skin. The strong chlorine odor in the pool area was also something we never experienced here before. This place is perfect for us and for the ages of our grandchildren to thoroughly enjoy. It's a great value and we'll be back!!

We had to pretty much stay in a separate building, went through multiple doors and stairways to get to our room, no elevator. I even asked to b close to the lobby and elevator access with my friend being pregnant and with having kids along. Did pre check in pictures of ID and credit card info and had to show them it all when I got there anyways so I felt giving the information prior was sketchy considering I have never had to do that before at any other hotel. Hotel needs some up keep as it looks “well used”. We have stayed there on 2 separate occasions and will not b going back.

The room was big enough, and the staff was helpful, but the phone didn't work to call the front desk. The plumbing and shower were not good. I tried the gym; there was not a lot of equipment. The location is good, as you can walk to Culver Restaurant next door. It was hard to walk on the street to get to Starbucks and Walmart. Otherwise, it's a good location to access the freeways.

Great suite. Awesome indoor pool and splash pad. Breakfast was good too. Many restaurants in walking distance.

Water park area best for ages 3 to 9 years old. The pools are very large with 2 basket ball hoops and a volly ball net in another area of pool. Fantastic hot tub. Nice breakfast as usual for hotels that offer hot breakfast. Room was fine.

Hot tub was awesome! Gym equipment was good.

This is a fantastic hotel with great breakfast, amenities, laundry room and incredible indoor water park.

Great looking pool area. Multiple pools. Water basketball, water volleyball, slides, large hot tub, plenty of seating. Good breakfast (eggs, sausage, waffles, and assorted breads, cereal, etc. The entrance was a little hard to find at night (it's behind a gas station). Our room had a couple of maintenance issues (sink really needed to be recaulked and the room smelled very musty).

Friendly staff. Open bar which was unexpected.

My husband and I have stayed there twice now and we have enjoyed it both times. The rooms are clean and I like the decor. The pool area is very large with a huge hot tub. The lounge wasn't open the day that we were there (Monday), but that looked like a nice place to have a drink. The breakfast was very good with a lot of options. We look forward to staying there again when we are in Wisconsin

Pros: The water was great, clean. Perfect for smaller kids to go down a slide. So many breakfast options! Cons: The room is kept nice but shows age. The caulking in the bathroom is discolored from mildew mold. The microwave didnt work in the room.

The property was nice, but our bathroom smelled a little like urine and the room was a little stale. You can tell it's an older hotel. The breakfast had no gluten free options other than scrambled eggs, which weren't cooked all the way.

Wonderful clean facility and staff!

Like most hotels since Covid the rooms have not been the cleanest. Dust on air conditioner and it looked like someone sprayed soda on the walls and was not washed off and the pool and hot tub were cloudy. This is a beautiful hotel and the pool area is spacious and I would recommend it

Stayed because of excellent rating. Hotel had a smell, hallways carpet dirty. Our bathtub didn't drain. Dirt behind bathroom door. Cobwebs behind and around the night stands. Furniture in beat up condition. Wouldn't allow me to upload photos

The carpets are dirty in halls and rooms. Bathroom cracked tile dirty in corners of room. Air conditioning does not work properly.

The hotel needs updating! Our shower had brown water till we ran it for a while. Pool is the draw to this hotel and it was large but the rooms were gross

Room was amazing. Clean and very cozy. I liked how it was set up. Only thing I didn’t like was you could hear everyone else’s showers. That was the only thing you could hear. So the rooms are very private. Pool area was extremely clean and well maintained. Close to shopping and convenience stores. Would definitely recommend and stay here again

Right off the highway, the Cranberry Country Lodge is a super stopover hotel, especially with swimming pool crazed kids. Rooms are spacious and clean, breakfast is good, and the all-round feel of the place is warm and inviting. We all agreed this will become a regular stop for us on trip to and from Michigan.

A beautiful hotel with a huge pool area. Even the cheapest, smallest room (I had a single queen bed) also had a nearly separate living room type area with a fold down couch, and a TV in both there and the bedroom area. The rustic decor was a bonus, giving the place a sort of cabin-ish feel.

Older hotel, good for a one night on-the-road stay. Room furniture dated, carpet was new. The most UN-comfortable couch ever. Bed softer than most hotel beds.

The Mallard Suite we booked was for rated for 6 people. What they did was take a single room and shove an extra bed in it. One bed was up against the wall and the other was touching the wall heater. The water utility system on the second floor is loud. Anytime water was turned on we could hear a wooosh and then loud thud of what seemed like a water valve shutting. Breakfast was ok but wasn’t set up for the number of guests they can “accommodate”. The pool area was fun for the kids.

It was a very nice stay. The toilets are a 2 push flush and required some getting used to. Our first one clogged and the front desk person gave me a plunger to try and fix myself. After a long day of traveling i really just wanted to go to bed. But, i plunged and plunged for 20 or so minutes causing more of a mess in my opinion. It only went down a little so around 11 pm i asked to switch rooms. Everyone else after this was very accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful (for a hotel). And the pools were clean. The water was a pleasant temperature. The rooms (both) were cleanish. The first tub (rm 123) had a weird epoxy that looked like someone squirted something (like shampoo) in the middle but forgot to wipe it up. The second one (126) had long hairs stuck to the door latch (where it clicks to close). The mirrors were smudged. So, it wasnt nasty, but it wasnt meticulous either. The staff was nice and the breakfast lady was great. It appears the staff was small and did the best they could. There were several area youth events and the rooms held the noise from the sides very well, but the ceiling noise was heard (like little elephants). The rooms were dark (if desired) but also had ample light. Having 2 TVs was a nice perk. I recommend for a family stay. If you're using the conference area for business - just make sure you have access to cleaning supplies and let your guests know about the two-hold flushes to keep things running smoothly (pun intended).

The room was exceptional. We had a place to chill and watch TV and a spot to go to bed. The thing I didn't like-when I booked the room it said accessible, by the wording I figured it was the room was handicapped accessible. Wrong, your room is near a handicap parking spot. We were the farthest you could be from breakfast/pool for a handicap person. I don't care that we were right outside the door for parking. My boyfriend had to drive the car around for breakfast that is how far we were from breakfast. The pool is even farther. Breakfast is exactly the same thing everyday except they change the meat it is either bacon or sausage. When you stay a week, a change would be nice.

Spacious suite. Comfortable. Dated, a bit of a musty smell but other than that everything was good. Nice linens, comfy bed, nice breakfast and a pool and bar.

It needs some updating and it was loud. Meaning, when people around you turned on their water or shower, you could hear it as if it was in your own room.

The experience was awful from the check in , to the heat not working , to the bathroom tub didn’t hold water because the plug was broken . The lady at the counter was less than helpful, I just wouldn’t recommend

Great pool, comfortable bed, clean room, expanded breakfast options. Staff were outstanding in friendliness and helpfulness. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Property was great especially the mini Waterpark. But we had an awful night because we didnt get any sleep. Couple people were arguing next door that we can hear them through the walls all night long. I called front desk twice but didnt really do much about it.

The room was clean. The swimming pool was the perfect temperature. Definitely will stay again.

We take a couple trips a year and this hotel has honestly been the best we have stayed at in a long time. The rooms were super clean, the beds were so comfortable. I usually have a hard time sleeping at hotels but I overslept every morning we were there. The breakfast was good especially the sausage. The front desk staff was also very friendly. Best of all it not only had 2 water slides, a big pool, a small pool and a large hot tub, but it was right across the street from a huge Kwik trip. And all of the surrounding places were restaurants and a big Walmart. Perfect spot right down the road from the exit to tomah. It was super convenient also that we were able to check in before arriving so they had our key card ready. No standing there for 10 minutes anymore waiting for the key. And even better was we were able to check out the same way with no contact. We will definitely be back.

Our room and the entire hotel were beautiful and very comfortable. It was clean and cozy! The staff was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. We will definately be staying here again!!!

Blue Huron Suite was great for a family of 5. The extra room was much needed. Hotel is situated in a quiet area with several resturants nearby. Would stay again.

Location is great if you just stop by from I94. Gas station, restaurants nearby. Room was booked for 4, but the sleeping sofa for the kids was not set up, so we had to ask for linens etc. and make it ourselves. Apart from that, all was good. Breakfast was good and the breakfast lady was nice and helpful, same as the friendly bar lady. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Difficult to see office from entering off highway. Overpriced because of events in town. Very comfortable otherwise

I loved the abundant counter space. It was nice having the bedroom in the back away from the door and noise in the hallway. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Good towels. I disliked the teeny bathroom with the noisy fan. Breakfast was truly dismal. Two waffle makers but no batter or syrup. Two metal containers for hot food but each had about a dozen sausages in them. Few choices and only a few of each choice. We were neither super early nor late for breakfast so no excuses I could think of for such poor offerings.

Only complaint is the breakfast. A lot of good options but the hot food wasn’t great. We got sausages that were still frozen in the middle. Biscuits were hard as rocks… etc otherwise our stay went very smoothly it was clean and the water park was great besides the fact that the kids pool was way colder than the big pool which I think is odd BUT my kids didn’t care. We would definitely go back!

We booked this 30 minutes before arriving around 8 at night without knowing about their large pool area. It was a very nice surprise for our two children ages 8 and 11. The staff was courteous and pleasant. Breakfast was busy and only offered waffels eggs and bacon for hot options but the staff worked quite hard to keep everything stocked

Loved having the extra room in the suite. We visited the bar … were hoping for a local microbrew, but only major beer companies. Had a Cabernet that was served cold🙄

I stay at this property several times never had any real issues. The breakfast could be a little better. It’s the same thing every day and today the sausage was kind of lame a little burnt. They should add a More mixture maybe have some biscuits and gravy maybe ham a little more variety
