The property itself was fine. I had asked for a quiet room and was given one three rows back from the main road, so traffic noise wasn’t an issue for me. My only complaint is the haphazard nature of the housekeeping. I was there for four nights. On some occasions tea bags were refreshed, sometimes there was milk, once, used towels were removed, but just once. Extra towels were never provided. On my last day, Sunday, the room wasn’t entered at all. When I went to Reception to try to get another towel at 2pm, I found they had closed at 1230. The room was never cleaned, even when Housekeeping had been there.

Immaculate & Clean rooms. Reception staff was awesome also, was soooo rushed after xmas shopping that morning, we had booked a room to just RELAX. To the guy on reception hes just awesome and calming, telling me to just take my time, bless you x and we will be back to stay for sure.

We booked two rooms. #9 was modern, updated shower/toilet area. #10 I hope was next on the list to be updated. Tired facilities, TV that worked, but we couldn’t get rid of the menu item in the middle of the screen, despite what the owner/manager said upon booking in. Both beds were comfortable, both rooms were in the second block back from the road, so traffic noise wasn’t a problem. Even outside reception, while waiting for the manager, traffic noise was a “dull” hum rather than objectionable. Overall a good place to stay, but I had room #9!

Went to order dinner on Monday night and was very rudely told by the same gentleman that the kitchen was closed even though it was still within the advertised open hours. We won’t be staying with them again.

We found the Motel very easy to find, in an excellent location. Room was very clean and comfortable, their Restaurant had an good variety on the menu and the staff welcomed us with a smile and went above and beyond to make our stay awesome. We will definitely stay again when back in QLD.

Cleaning staff were lovely but I didn’t like the remote area the motel was located. I made the mistake of booking the motel without a vehicle which meant I relied on Uber for transport. More than adequate units in the motel but would not recommend for families.

I’m not sure why the reviews of this facility were so good. The positives- clean, comfortable rooms, convenient to the Motorway. Negatives- too close to the Motorway (noisy), could not book the restaurant which is actually a cafe with a veranda. Had to argue with the manager over room allocation, he was not pleasant. I’m hoping there are better options in the area next time

For the prices being charged I think King size beds should be the standard for hotels/motels. We ate at the restaurant and while the service was great the vegies were undercooked and the steak was too tough to eat. The breakfast was great though. However, the food there cost us more than the room.The coffee from the coffee machine "sucked" and we were charged as if it was a bespoke coffee from a proper expensive coffee machine at a trendy cafe. Come on guys the coffee from that terrible machine should be free. As visitors and not knowing the local restaurants/clubs we were not advised that there was a fantastic club (the Lion) only 5-10 mins drive away or about any of the restaurants within the area. This information should be in the motel room itself.
