A relaxed stay for 2 for one night. The restaurent on the same site was covenient after travelling,with different sitting areas. The accomodation was in a self contained building, clean and comfortable. Good value in January.

The hotel is close to the motorway making it convenient and easy to get to. Rooms are good with comfortable beds and are provided with tea and coffee making facilities. On the downside I found that although the breakfast was good the only choice of egg was scrambled. No provision for fried, boiled or poached eggs. Parking could sometimes be a problem with many work vans taking up space and a lack of parking space during busy periods, especially at weekends. In general it is a good place to stay when visiting the area.

When I arrived I was directed to the wrong location. This is because the place is listed twice on Google Maps. I have submitted a change regarding this. There is a one way system in place for vehicles that I liked and there was plenty of parking. The hotel part directed you to check in at the desk to the right of the main entrance. However, it wasn't clear where this was. There was a pedestrian walkway that lead to a door into the bar/restaurant area so naturally I assumed that was the main entrance they were referring to. However, when I went inside and waited at the bar to be seen I was told it was round the corner and I had to check in there. I feel this needs to be clearer to guests to save them time. I was given an accessible room (not the venues fault, it was what was assigned when I booked) but the layout was not great. For instance, the light switch for the bathroom was behind the bathroom door when opened. Not an issue for me but if a guest in a wheelchair was using this room I can see them finding that a little frustrating. The hand soap provided was awful so I ended up using my own and the toilet paper was so thin you had to use much more than you should need. That, to me, needs to be addressed. The shower unit had a lever to switch the water on and off. It was quite stiff. Again, not an issue for me but a disabled guest may find this difficult. I could mention more but ran out of space.

Great property. There is a small check in desk just behind the bar area. Staff at check were super friendly. Room clean and spacious and super king size bed really comfortable. We had a room for 3-4 so had a super king size and then a single bed in the room. Would definitely use again when in the area. O my downsize was it’s quite costly for a pub hotel at £125.

We were really impressed with the cleanliness of our room and the facilities, really comfortable beds too. We stayed in a family room which had plenty of room and all slept really well. We had dinner and breakfast in the pub and were equally impressed with the food, we couldn't fault the quality and price, we will definitely be going back!

The room was spaceous spotless and very comfortable. The christmas dinner was lovely, as was the food on Christmas eve fresh and delicious. The staff were all lovely nothing was to much trouble. I will definatley return and would highly recommend. Well done to you all.

Very clean well appointed room, fresh and new bed much more comfortable than any premier inn we’ve used great shower, staff and pub attached are lovely with good food. Really pleasantly surprised by this place which is reasonably priced and near so many lovely places to visit. Five stars, we recommend to all!

The room was great. A little on the small side but everything we needed. Modern and clean with quality fixtures, fittings and consumables. Lots of hot water, easy to control heating, great bathroom shelf and mirror. Top marks for the full length mirror with socket, decent hairdryer and light above in the bedroom. This is something I cant understand other hotels get so wrong - you’ve got it so right! First time I’ve found this ideal set up. Great breakfast too! Quality food at a reasonable price. Will definitely stay again.

We were given a room on ground floor as no lift. Room was nice. Just dispenser for soap no shampoo conditioner. No shelves for placing anything in bathroom. Just a very small hanging area. No light over single mirror. Very noisy with air conditioning and road noise u til 1/2 am then started at 4 am! I spoke to a temporary manager who said he had no idea of the rooms and what they were like but would move us further along to make it easier? Also that he would phone us to tell us this had been done. After hearing nothing I phone to ask but the line was permanently engaged so phoned head office and girl said she would make sure that someone answered but it still went to engaged tone. Phoned again head office and said we did not want to stay another night as no change of room! Thus cancelling 4 more night ahead plus another 8 nights ahead of that! Fortunately we were able to find somewhere else in the very short time we had! Thus to say we will never recommend The Two Rivers Chepstow again which is very sad as it was very good some years ago.

Comfy stay in well finished room near Chepstow. The room had everything you would expect in its price range. Not much of a view from my room, just the car park and the pub (the Inn is a separate building). I had dinner in the pub which was nice, didn't try breakfast. Not many things very close except for a petrol station and housing. 1/2 to a mile walk to the real centre of Chepstow.

Lovely few nights at the Two Rivers. Nice pub for drinks and food (only had a sandwich for lunch on arrival which was very good) drinks choices was great. Walking distance to town centre for more food and entertainment. Very close to Seven bridge for the Parkrun. An enjoyable stay.

On the downside I found that although the breakfast was good the only choice of egg was scrambled. No provision for fried, boiled or poached eggs. Parking could sometimes be a problem with many work vans taking up space and a lack of parking space during busy periods, especially at weekends. In general it is a good place to stay when visiting the area.

Great location for the wedding we attended in St Tewdrics house, especially as all Chepstow taxis refused to pick up from there. It is walkable. Comfortable, clean room. Staff in the Two Rivers Inn were really helpful and friendly. Nice food in the pub too.

Comfy stay in well finished room near Chepstow. The room had everything you would expect in its price range. Not much of a view from my room, just the car park and the pub (the Inn is a separate building). I had dinner in the pub which was nice, didn't try breakfast. Not many things very close except for a petrol station and housing. 1/2 to a mile walk to the real centre of Chepstow.

Lovely quaint inn. Good restaurant. Very friendly staff. Chepstow racecourse and Tintern Abbey are a quick bus ride away. Walk to Chepstow castle and charming town centre. Prepare for hills though. Especially from the train station. Will come again for sure. Lovely place.

A last minute stay we found this gem. the room was lovely with controls on the temperature, the tea and coffee provided was good quality. the room and bed were very comfortable and quiet. the pub was inviting, with regulars eating. they had good gluten free options and being just a few steps from the room very inviting. the breakfast was delicious and was a nice end to our stay. I would stay again if needing a room while in the area or close by

The room was spaceous spotless and very comfortable. The christmas dinner was lovely, as was the food on Christmas eve fresh and delicious. The staff were all lovely nothing was to much trouble. I will definatley return and would highly recommend. Well done to you all.

Just a night away for myself and my partner very clean room and excellent parking the only thing we found fault with was the food and service in the pub sometimes a very long wait to get served at the bar and unfortunately my partner sent her first steak back and the second one which they brought her was just as bad but they refunded her meal and gave us some drinks to try and make amends which we were grateful for it won’t put us off going back as it’s really a nice pub and as I said the hotel block was spotless and the parking is great.
