Posada del Abuelito (Hostel)

Please, let us know at what time you are arriving at our Posada. Having at least an estimated time will help us to have your room prepared. Check in time is at 2 p.m. but if the room is ready you are welcome to accommodate. If you are arriving very late at night or very early in the morning we need to know for your own comfort. Full payment upon arrival is expected. We only accept cash. You will also be asked to pay a $50 deposit for your keys. The deposit will be returned to you on your departure time (check out time is 11am) as you return the keys. If you decide to stay longer than you have booked you will need to speak to the person in charge to check if the room is available again. We recommend you to let us know as soon as possible. Payment for the night is always expected before 11a.m. Smoking is not allowed in any enclosed facilities. Rooms are cleaned daily.

Open from 8.00AM to 10PM Check-in is at 2:00 p.m. Check-out is at 11:00 a.m. Early check-in and late-check out can be arranged. For every arrival between 6-8am and 10pm-midnight, and in case of delay, please inform us. Rooms are cleaned daily. We provide lots of extra blankets and a warm fire in the common room but It gets chilly in the evenings and in the early mornings in San Cristobal, so we highly recommend that you pack accordingly. Cancellation policy is 72 hours. Late cancellations and no shows will result in your credit card to be charged the amount of first night stay.
