Great location. 5 mins walk from Roma Street, Station which I used when getting airport link railway. Close to all facilities and short walk to city centre. Spacious suite with all the facilities you would want pkys a swimming pool.

Great place to stay in Central Brisbane. Easy walking distance from Roma st station, with direct rail to the airport. Lovely friendly staff who seem genuinely happy to see you. We had a few requests which were sorted virtually immediately. Great apartments and good value too. Car parking is expensive, but that is the case wherever you park in the Cbd.

Good space in the unit, full size fridge. Elevator system over complicated as we had 4 families in the same hotel but not easy to visit other rooms without meeting them in the lobby first. However this was good for security.

Immaculate from the front door to the unit. The only thing I noticed was mould in the grout in the master bathroom shower. For the cost for 1 night I would expect it to be clean. Otherwise amazing view and reception staff were amazingly helpful and always polite!

We arrived at the hotel and followed the sign to the parking, we were told where to park but not how to use the elevator without the keycard as we were not checked in. this meant a family of 6 with two toddlers had to walk through the rabbit warren of stairs up and down with all our luggage out on the street to the main reception. The car park is horrendously small and is only good for small cars (not a Kia Carnival like we had). Next the reception was filled with scissor lifts and uncomfortable lighting (we were not aware that the hotel reception was under renovation). We got to the room, the floors were dirty and i found a shard of glass. the showers were moldy and one bathroom had a smell. The washing machine flooded and was corrected immediately when reception notified, i informed them of the glass on the floor and they said someone would be around to vacuum but this didn't happen. On the Friday evening their was a party in a neighboring room with lots of screaming. I have stayed at the meriton chain in other states and this was a complete let down.

Once we were shown how to open our windows we were able to turn off the air conditioner for the duration of our stay. This was very helpful. It's our second stay at a Meriton hotel and we found it as good as our first. Staff were invariably polite, friendly and helpful. Room was immaculate.

When we arrived the shower floor grate was not on and there was a terrible smell coming from the drain. They sent maintenance up to clean the drain. A shame they did not clean the entire shower as the grout was very dirty and there was mould. The only good thing about our stay was the location.

Good location, easy walking distance into Brisbane CBD and Southbank. Compact apartment, suitable for 2 people. The road which the hotel was on was closed due to roadworks during our stay The overnight noise was quite disruptive and loud on one night, making it difficult to sleep. Apart from that, I was happy with our stay and would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was awesome, in a great location and easy to get to. Staff were friendly and helpful. My only critique is the shower set up. There was a lot of water that escaped the shower and turned the floor around the toilet and sink into a swimming pool. The bath mat provided just couldn’t cope. It was good to have a washing machine and dryer. I’d stay here again and recommend to others.

The view from the 73rd floor was amazing we looked over the city and out to Moreton Bay. Location was excellent. We had a full kitchen and laundry and the apartment was very roomy. If I had any criticism it would be the bathroom/ensuite was a little tight. Highly recommend this property, Staff were helpful and friendly.

Stunning view of Brisbane and river from my suite on the 65th floor. Suite was large, with separate bedroom, good kitchen and 2 bathrooms - extremely good value for the price. Floor access via high speed lifts worked well and felt safe. Supermarket about 250 metres away. Front desk and housekeeping people very responsive and professional. About 200 metres from riverside walkway.

Central located hotel i CBD. Good condition of hotel and friendly staff. Garage under hotel very small and narrow with a big car. A big minus for hearing all traffic and noice from outside due to single glazing windows. Felt cheap and snnoying. Also a little annoying that you keep running out of amenities and need to go down to lobby more or less daily. If you have a longer stay the room should be equipped for it. Overall a nice hotel to s reasonable price.

We didn’t have any Wifi for the whole trip after they tried to fix it a number of times. Then pool was drained without notice which was frustrating for the kids while on school holidays.

Only issue I could point out is that when having shower, a lot of water leaks from the shower screen area and inundating the floor outside the shower cubicle and becoming a slippery hazard.

There was a lot of black hair (not ours) in the bathroom and the bed was rock hard. The man who checked us is was lovely and very accommodating, but the lady who checked us out was very rude and power tripping. She should not be customer facing.

The room was very hot on arrival… air conditioner should have been turned on and the curtains facing the west should have been closed up to reduce the heat in the rooms. Our rooms flooded due to a cistern issue on the floor above. We had to ask twice for it to be looked at. The carpets in the rooms were saturated and we were offered towels to mop the water up ourselves… no one offered to it for us. Whilst we were offered an alternative room it was inconvenience for us to have to move. No further compensation was offered for the inconvenience given the rooms were $500 - $600 a night rooms. Customer service was disappointing.

Stayed here 3 nights in July. The hotel was fine. It didn't seem to be in the greatest area, but it was close to some places to eat and a small grocery store. We had a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom suite. We were on the 69th floor and the view was fantastic. However, the bedrooms and bathrooms were really small. The primary bathroom was a decent size but the shower was really small compared to the rest of the space. Water pressure was very good. We had to ask the front desk for extra towels (there were 6 of us staying there), and multiple times on different days the guy told us he would bring some up and he never did. The living area as well as all the bedrooms had tvs. So that was nice. Used the parking garage for 1 night. We rented a large passenger van and it was really tight turning in the garage. Thankfully didn't have any major issues. Overall, I would stay here again.

Meriton suites Herschel is in the perfect location. We were able to easily walk to all out tour pickup points. Having a grocery store around the corner was excellent. The Queen’s Plaza shopping was also nearby. It seemed very safe walking about. The hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. There was always a friendly hello whether you were coming or going. I would definitely stay here again when in Brisbane.

Overall a nice stay with meriton once again. Staff are friendly and easy to check in and out. There are limited food options nearby and you do need to walk 15 mins or so towards cbd. In general brisbane is pretty quiet at night time in the city. Will stay here again for my yearly business trip.
