H on Smith was great! We stayed with a large group for a week and enjoyed the comfortable rooms and pool! Service was also excellent which included a last minute overnight when our flight was cancelled. Location was awesome. Minutes from the Esplanade and easy access to the waterfront, downtown and Mindil Beach. Highly recommend.

Quite good hotel with excellent service. Parking on site and close to shops and restaurants. Stayed a lot… starting to got a bit tored and no cable TV. Also no room service but restaurant will do take away and is pretty good.

No clean towels in the gym the whole six days abd we did report to reception. Pool pump whined so loud it was not pleasant to sit around pool and relax. Carpets needed to be vacuumed! Bed linen was clean and serviced every day but some days were better than others! Wouldn’t stay there again.

Staff we great and friendly but didn’t have a great stay in general. The aircon was SO cloud I had to turn it off at night, the plumbing from the room above was also really loud. On the second day for some reason there was a really strong ammonia/chemical smell in the room, smelled like it was coming from the the vents and was awful to sleep in.

No hot water to have a shower, when I reported it to the receptionist as I checked out there was no offer of a discount. Not even an apology! Also booked and paid for 2 nights, changed to 1 and was apparently refunded. Still waiting for the refund! Terrible hotel.

A really lovely place to stay as close to everthing and a pick up point for all my day trips. Just a couple of negatives. The bathroom ceiling fan didnt work, you couldnt fit the kettle under the bathroom tap to fill the kettle and the air con was set at 17, the lowest, and was only just adequate. Otherwise, yes Id stay there again.

Having stayed several times before I was a little surprised in the overall experience. The rooms have deteriorated to a point I could hear flushing toilets and running shows at different times of the day and night. The kitchen staff substandard but the front desk very professional.

Nice hotel and excellent reception service from Chris, issue is the people hanging around outside in the evening who were drunk and noisy on our return from dinner on both nights. An unfortunate blight on an otherwise decent hotel. Location is also good for walks to the harbour and for a large range of restaurants.

There was an issue with the booking through the hotels.com app after a change in dates of the booking whereby H hotel were not advised. There was no booking on my arrival. Fortunately they had a vacant room they were able to prepare to fill this request. The manager was extremely professional in dealing with the matter. The hotel is centrally located in Darwin city close to main strip and bars and restaurants. The hotel itself has a restaurant and the food there was well above par. Rooms are comfortable and perfect for a business trip. I have stayed here previously and would stay again.

This hotel was well situated on the rim of the city centre, so it was close enough to the central hub, but quiet too. The staff were friendly and answered all enquiries properly. The hotel itself was quite clean and fairly modern. I would recommend this hotel to travellers staying in Darwin.

Had a good stay, accommodation was great. Only issue was that it was Easter and there was no Room Service and limited opportunities to eat at the venue. This was offset by excellent front counter staff that meet all our needs for fresh towels, etc

We stayed 1 night in room 808 then went on a tour for overnight then came back & were in room 910 for 2 nights. Some aspects of the hotel are quite nice but others are problematical. The swimming pool area & free towels from reception & the cool water at reception are nice. Has a large restaurant, can be noisy and bar is good with good service & you can get have in or take out expresso coffees. The food was ok. We did our own thing for breakfast but had 1 dinner there. Close by is a large supermarket & in the street behind lots of bars & restaurants. Room 808 was nice with a desk area & places to plug your phones etc in. The room smelt fresh if slightly over perfumed. The next comment applies to both rooms. The sheets are a bit course, the air conditioner makes gurgling sounds about every half hour & while the black out curtains work well the room has way too many LED control lights on.. aircon, TV, wifi, phone, smoke detector - flashes every 5 seconds. The toilets cisterns need their flush washers replacing as every so often they suddenly fill up a small amount. Room 910 doesn’t have the work desk module, smelt dank & unpleasant, I think partly from the floor over flow drain in the bathroom & the aircon gurgling was worse. There’s a fridge in the room but no ice, selection of tea but just instant coffee. Some of the LED control lights in the lift don’t work as you need to use your key card to access your floor. This lack of LED’s working is confusing. Stay again, unsure.
