The hotel was nicely designed, however the numbering sytem in the elevators to get to the lobby are confusing. The AC was not working properly - we had it set to 60 and it only got to 73 during summer. We got to our room late and wanted to sleep rather than stay up and wait on maintenace.

Expedia did not provide the breakfasts that I paid for. The hotel accomodated me, but gave me vouchers for less than what I paid. It was clean and walking distance to the stadium. Parking was ridiculously expensive. Cost must be lowered if I am going to return.

It was the perfect little overnight for us to recharge. Stayed in, ordered Chinese food, and hung out at the bar. Every staff member we met was dedicated to making us feel welcome and comfortable and Alex, the bartender, had great energy and made the BEST drinks!! Highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a place to recharge with your honey without breaking the bank!

Aloft was wonderful. It’s a little tricky to find. You have to pull into the parking lot, then take 1 bank of elevators up to the lobby. Then there is a separate bank of elevators to your room. Valet parking is $40. Self parking is $26 for 24 hours. We were just there for the night so it was $13 for us. If you do self park you pay every time you go in and out of the garage. However, if you’re looking to explore the Flats you don’t have to leave at all. We walked the Flats and had dinner at The Lake house. (Highly recommend) and it’s all walking distance (I was wearing wedges and didn’t have a problem at all) Check out was a breeze. The room had HUGE bath towels, such a nice upgrade and they have a relationship with Dry Bar so the shampoo/conditioner/ toiletries are fantastic. From the location to the comfort and the ease of the check in I’d HIGHLY recommend this stay to anyone.

Room was good. small but perfect. Loved that there was mini fridge. They sent a message before the stay warning that it does get nosier at night and if we wanted room higher up to ask. We didn’t and didn’t think anything of it. I slept fine but my husband was woken up multiple times. lol it’s right by the flats and it was the bar crawl weekend So we knew what to expect! But for any light sleepers- ask for highest room up away from people! Loved the hotel. Easy to park and get to front desk. Bad ass gym we didn’t get to use. Walking distance between everything to bars to favorite restaurants. We will be back in future! Walked to less than 5 minute walk to 27 club, all the bars and restaurants at the flats. Also walked to blue point grill for dinner- 8 minute walk.

Only complaint would be that pool and rooftop bar were both closed one of the nights for a private event. Not a huge deal, of course they would do that. But these two amenities were one of the reasons I chose this place. Maybe a heads up during booking would have been nice.

Very convenient to Rock & Roll Hall of Fame @ The Flats. We went to walk around in the evening to find a place for dinner and there were many intimidating characters around. We returned to the hotel and ate ate at the restaurant there which was very good. The entry level and lobby area of the hotel needs a good clean and updating and the room was tired but clean. Staff was pleasant

Bathroom door did not close all the way, bathroom fan was disgustingly covered with all kinds of nasty, some sort of leak made carpet wet for 3 days, shower soap dispenser was broken, bathroom mirror corner was broken/gross, only 2 light switches, no soap dish, towels not replenished on the last night, horrible parking.

We came into town for a Browns game and were thrilled with this hotel. It’s really nice inside, the bed was comfy, and the staff were super friendly and responsive. Our TV remote stopped working and someone fixed the issue in minutes. The lounge area and bar were great. Best of all though is the location - it’s a ten minute walk to the stadium and to the downtown bars and restaurants. There was also a plaza across the street with bars and restaurants as well. We didn’t eat at any of the restaurants in the hotel because we were only there for one night but the on site restaurants did look really nice. The valet parking was convenient. I was thrilled with this hotel, especially considering it was very reasonably priced. I’d definitely stay again!

Absolutely disgusting. Smelled like smoke, cigs on the hallway floors. Staff is rude and prices are outrageous. Noisy as hell and walls are paper thin. Avoid at all costs.

There is a number of loud bars and nightclubs beneath the hotel. Be sure to ask for the highest floor possible, I was given the 2nd floor and it was noisy until last 2am

This place faces the "Flats" which is where the bars and night clubs are. The music was extremely loud until 2 am. No sleep whatsoever. Added to that were the vehicles cruising up and down the streets with loud exhaust and even louder stereo systems. If you stay in Cleveland, stay higher up - downtown.

The hotel itself is nice, and the rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The only issue is that the hotel is in The Flats entertainment district, and it is very loud outside until 3am. Music is blaring, crowds of people are yelling, and none of us were able to get a good night sleep.

Nice hotel.. clean- definitely minimalist type experience overall.. shower looks really nice, but not practical- no place to put your soap, razor, etc.. no place to shave legs.. unless you can hike your leg 4 ft up on the grab bar.. No place to put clothes- there is a very small closet/ locker type area with a curtain in front of the space- and shelves about 6 ft up above-unless you live out of the suitcase, there is no place for undergarments, socks, shirts, etc.. I literally had all if this stuff out on one of the desks in the room.. very small mini fridge in the bathroom area.. The noise on the 2nd floor is almost unbearable ( it was worse on weekend nights).. sounds as if there is a club under us/ right outside our room.. The staff was very friendly- offered earplugs, advice of where to eat on checkin, and bar staff friendly. This is a clean hotel- and although there are alot of negatives above- Cleanliness is one of my top priorities of a place I stay.. maybe Im just getting a little on the older end of tolerance for loud/ fun/ hip areas;//.. Lol

The curtains didn’t fit the windows very well, so there was light coming in around the edges. Power was out when we got there. We had a concert so went out and then came back power was back on… when I woke up at 3 am there was again no power so we could not take a shower or anything. Food we had in fridge went bad and couldn’t sleep in since it was getting very hot already at 8 AM. Assistant manager said he was going to contact me but never reached out. Will not stay at Marriott aloft here again. Other hotels right down the street still had power and we wish we would have rebooked another room at another hotel instead of wasting our vacation here.!

Everyone was very nice and friendly, including a proactive email describing to closures, parking information, and other helpful details before our stay. Hotel was located close enough to walk to the Browns stadium for a concert. Definitely one of the better hotel stays we have had.

The Aloft in downtown Cleveland is vibey, mostly the good kind. Clean, comfortable, modern, and in a great area. Downsides were staff that seemed poorly trained, a "breakfast" that required a 20 minute wait at a quick service window, and a valet service that is not controlled by the hotel, aka, rude.

The Most unfriendly staff I‘ve ever seen in a Hotel. They Talk with each other, are extremely bored and walk around. And if you interrupt them with a question or something else they are unfriendly. Bed was not made, breakfast was a grab and go. Not worth the Money.

we were delayed on our arrival due to a car breakdown, got there around noon on the 2nd day of our trip, were told we were considered a no show and had to wait 3 hrs to get a room, as we had to wait in the area even though i had paid ( 500.00 per night) for both days. As we were in Cleveland with other friends and a football game that started at 4, to say the least i cant still believe the poor service

The hotel was unique and beautiful. I would definitely stay there again. My only complaint was the parking and their lack of communication with the front desk. We ended up paying twice for the valet parking. When we checked out the front desk said, "okay now all you have to do is pay for parking." The valet gentleman said we had to pay but might have already at the front desk and to check my email receipt. There was nothing coming through. After waiting and checking for 10 minutes we paid him so we could leave. The email came through later that day and it charged my car for parking. So, we paid twice. I suggest a system or ticket that showed you paid so this doesn't happen again. It was the holidays so I guess he just got a big tip for the day.

Great room...great location....coulld walk to NBA, NFL and MLB stadium in 10-15 min....and Rock N Roll HOF. Lots of bars and resturants nearby.....and really nice room!

The hotel is in the entertainment district and there are quite a few dining/bar options available. It is within about a 20 minute walk to the football, baseball, and basketball stadiums, although late at night that walk might be less than safe, I don't know.

Convenient location in walking distance from the east bank flats. Can safely and easily walk to rock and roll hall of fame, Browns stadium and a lot of Cleveland landmarks. Next to the metro train station. Very pet friendly.

First of all, every staff member i came in contact with was well above par for customer service. I enjoyed my stay immensely. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good snd well worth the 10$ a day. The 2 restaurants we went to , Lago and Soro were so good! The view from our room was perfect. The valet parking is nice but if toi dont want to pay the 40$ a day there is a parking garage for 26$ a day. So much to do is in walking distance. I will be back!

Such a great option for a vacation location if you like to eat and drink. We did a self-made bar crawl and had an awesome time. Lago and Sora are restaurants in the building. We started with these and then went to Punch Bowl Social, Welcome to the Farm, Alley Cat, and Beerhead. We ate at Sora and Beerhead. The hotel itself is nice. No complaints there. The location is awesome for a little getaway.
