Greate atmosphere! You really had a strong sense that you were in an Olympic village. Very nice room for lounging and eating. It looked like a ski lodge. Hot tub and pool were very clean.

We stayed 2 nights, the room was roomy and clean. The morning breakfast was good, there is coffee and tea available all day. As a Tesla owner we appreciated the destination charger.

Lovely hotel, large comfortable rooms, clean, and all staff, from the front desk to the cleaners were friendly, polite and welcoming. Breakfast was great each morning. Swimming pool and hot tub so pleasant to use after a day of roaming the town.

Conveniently located. Short walk to restaurants. Had amenities that other Hampton inns don’t have - fire pit, bar, large common area, lawn chairs overlooking the lake. Would recommend and stay here again.

Gorgeous view! I wanted to be out on the balcony or down in the Great Room lobby more than in the room because our room smelled like dog and my eyes itched terribly from allergies. The pillows are terrible too, but bring your own from home and it’s fine. Decent breakfast.

Started with a good experience at check in with friendly and helpful staff. The lobby area was very clean and inviting. The room was spacious, very clean and modern. Everything was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Easy to find parking.

This room would not meet handicap standards. Toilet was not comfort height, no grab bar for toilet, tub-shower rather than walk in shower. “Lake view” was obstructed by building roof and trees. Should have been advertised as a limited lake view. Room was immaculate. Might have been the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever been in. Bed was very comfortable. Management was very polite and professional as I mentioned the above, items I realize they had nothing to do with and couldn’t change if the wanted to do so.

My only complaint was the one bed sagged on one side from use. Should be replaced. Breakfast was good, staff friendly, facility clean. Very convenient to public beach and downtown shopping/ restaurants.

Absolutely get the balcony room. It made our experience great. The property was inviting especially the great room off the lobby where you eat breakfast. It had giant windows overlooking the lake. It was a great way to start your day. I loved this property but the AC in our particular room was loud for me. I would not let that deter you from staying here.

I was not able to check in even 5 minutes prior to the check in time which was very inconvenient. Then our shower was leaking on the floor below, so my wife had to hurry up with her shower because they didn't want us using it anymore. The check in process was very frustrating.

Their check in and check out procedures take longer than can be expected. There are always lines at the front desk. People seem always have something to clarify or do or solve something at the desk. The hotel clerks look and look at their screens and click and click like they give you a car loan or a mortgage instead of just handing you over your room keys. Aldo, A/C in the room kicks in very loudly and wakes you up every 30 min or so. We could not sleep the whole night at all. There is no way people can sleep with that noise. It’s a nice place otherwise. A/C is the major problem.

Clean hotel with good service. The hotel is within walking distance to Lake Placid village shops/Main Street. It is across the street from Mirror Lake, which has a 2.7 mile walking path around it and there’s a nearby rental place for kayaks/paddle boards to use on the lake. Enjoyed our stay here.

Our stay was great. The hotel was in a great location, we walked to main street, all the shops, the museum and restaurants. The room was clean and the hotel was quiet, we got a good nights sleep.

I would give it 5/5 if the management improved the breakfast items restocking. We had to wait for our hot breakfast every day during our stay for up to 15 min. Otherwise, very lovely and clean place. All is at walking distance. Love Lake Placid and keep coming every year.

Great medium-priced place to stay right in downtown Placid. Rooms were fine and the lobby is quite nice with a Adirondack vibe and great views of Mirror Lake. Very convenient location with all of downtown within easy walk. In summer the Mirror Lake beach is right across the street. Full breakfast is included but I found the eggs, sausage and potatoes to all be too salty for my liking. I did better with the toast and bagels and such. Parking is ample and easy. I was completely satisfied with our stay.
