We stayed for two nights and our room was clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great - there was a huge spread! The hotel is not in the main tourist area, but it is closer to the Imperial City and the main attractions are all walking distance. The pool and gym area were always clean.

Reception and restaurant staff were excellent. Greeters at the door were always friendly and attentive.Hotel was clean. Good location. Daily laundry offered. A block down the street a vendor was providing workshops on how to make Asian hats, kites and artificial lotus flowers. Lots of fun. We were on the 11th floor next to the elevator. A bit noisy with the restaurant above. Hotel made a great effort to ask their visitors to remain quiet after 10:30pm. Bathtub / shower was not easy to get into / out (we are seniors) and amenities were a far reach. No recycling of plastic bottles. Pool had a lot of chlorine in it. Use of hot tub had to be scheduled in advance.

nice looking hotel however the breakfast despite it looks impressive is very low quality, coffee is definitively very bad, same as the juices and pastries the swimming pool was too cold to be used and the sauna is only on request!!! so cold also do not expect any good service as well, the staff is more busy to sell you something to get a commission than helping you, better to arrange everything by yourself including changing money if you do not want to get screwed! on top of all the hotel is full of groups very noisy and respect less better to find another location for your stay which should not be difficult

We spent a lovely three days and two nights there n Hue and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is excellent, only criticisms being a lack of anywhere to hang out damp clothing in the rooms and really two lifts is one too few resulting in several slightly long waits to access floors.

Beautiful hotel and great value for money. Safe quiet and well situated in Hue. Easy to navigate city with inexpensive taxis. Plenty to see around hotel and it's walking distance to imperial palace grounds. Great breakfast provided at hotel and restaurant is great for dinner as well. Pool, sauna, steam room is great if you need them. Highly recommend this hotel.

Hā was wonderful serving us at the Sky Bar. The reception and manager were very helpful in providing information on our night train to Hanoiand a driver to help orient us at the train station. I'm an American War veteran and the Vietnamese people captured my heart. Even under extreme conditions they are sensitive and caring. It's why I say: Vietnam mai mai!

Thanh Lich hotel took great care of us e.g. by hailing us taxis and walking us in/out with umbrellas during the rain. We appreciated the clean rooms and fantastic Vietnamese and Western breakfasts. Our room was on the ninth floor in the corner so it was quiet - the only noise we heard was some heavy winds coming through the vents above us during the rainstorm - that detracted from the quietude but wasn't much of an issue when it came to sleeping. We would stay here again.

The stay overall was mediocre at best. The family size room was very nice and clean though with nothing but an adjacent wall to look out the window at, it felt very cave like. The staff were accommodating enough.

Vi fik desværre et værelse som kiggede i naboens bygning, med afstand under 1 meter, som gjorde at der var ingen mulighed for dagslys ind og føltes som at bo i en kælder. Ud over det boede vi overfor elevator som gjorde at der var daglig larm og folk var på vej ind til os. The hotel was excellent, in particular the buffet breakfast and pool, however our room was located near the stairwell and over the foyer so we could hear people walking up the stairs at all hours and then was woken early in the morning to the music in the lobby.

Our room was lovely & the first night we ate in the restaurant. This was a lovely meal, apart from the waitress hovering over my shoulder whilst I decided what to order, very intimidating. Food, however, was excellent. The second night, after a very busy day, we decided to chill, have a bath & again eat in the hotel restaurant, however, there were 3 parties in the hotel, one in the function room on the ground floor & 1 in each of the restaurants!!! We had not been told about any of them. The party on the 12th floor was a karaoke & could be heard all over the hotel!!! The loud music & the even louder, out of tune appauling "singing" was just dreadful. The hotel receptionist said it was a party for New Year & would be finished by 10pm & was that ok? NO!!! It wasn't ok. We should have been informed about this prior to our stay, because if we had known about it, we would have booked somewhere else. A nice hotel, however, our stay was spoilt by the loud noise coming from the karaoke party. I would not recommend staying here, as the hotel do not seem to value their paying guests. Such a shame.

The service at Thanh Lich was amazing - we arrived hot, hungry and exhausted from our trip from the US. The staff opened the kitchen for us and provided us with a full meal even though meal time had passed. Everyone was incredibly gracious and personable and took care of all of our needs, especially Hoai, Tuyen and Huong. My family and I absolutely recommend staying at Thanh Lich - it was a wonderful experience.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Thanh Lich Royal Boutique Hotel in Hue. It was walking distance of lots of restaurants and we liked that the street in front of the hotel closed down to a walking street on weekends. The breakfast was delicious and all of the hotel staff was attentive and very helpful. We would highly recommend staying here again!

We are happy with Thanh Lich Royal Boutique Hotel. The street it is on becomes pedestrianised on Sat and Sun till 10pm. Its location is 15 minute walk to the Citadel. We enjoyed our stay. Buffet breakfast catered for most preferences.

Overall a great place, really beautiful, good location, good staff. But a few things that were annoying. Very hard to figure out the water temperature in the bathtub, either burning or freezing. And it wasn't just us. They had to send up 3 different people to finally figure out how to operate it and show us. Also there was a karaoke event that went until 930 at night, which was extremely noisy and hard for our baby to fall asleep. Breakfast was fine. We had read in other reviews that it was excellent, but we found it to be very mediocre. Staff was nice and helpful!

Great hotel in Hue. Everything was in good condition, and the room was large. Quiet neighborhood. The street in front of the hotel is pedestrian only on Saturday and Sunday nights. Traffic during the day was light. English cable channels. Everyone was nice and very helpful. Breakfast was okay, mainly Asia oriented.
