Excellent hotel in most respects… however, the hotel is in an area frequented by Madrid’s uni students…so lots of bars everywhere… but drinking and partying spill out on to the streets and continue until 5.00 or 6.00 in the morning… so not ideal for those trying to sleep prior to work! Windows are reasonably sound proof, but then there is no fresh air!

Small, but adequate room with all the essentials. Main issue was noise. I could easily hear the couple next door arguing. A lot street noise as well. Breakfast a bit of a wait to get into breakfast. Heavily advertised rooftop was closed.

Hotel is located in front of a bus stop and subway station. Bus route 001 is a free route that can take you to main tourist attractions and shops. Hotel rooms are a bit small but staff friendliness and service makes up for it There are several good restaurants and bars at walking distance
