I recently stayed at this centrally located hotel, which is within walking distance of major attractions. The carpark beneath the hotel is convenient but expensive, it doesn't belong to the hotel to be fair. Unfortunately, the hotel had several issues: The hallways were dark, the lift was out of order, and I found ants in my bathroom. Accessing the garage was also problematic, with no lights, forcing me to use my phone’s torch. For the price, the hotel did not meet expectations at all.

Good central location and walking distance to lots of other amenities. The room was looking tired and in a desperate need of revamping! Floor was dusty, holes in towels, no shampoo… No bar or restaurant facilities, only very expensive room service and mini bar! If you’re looking for luxury this is not the place!

Great stay at the hotel. The room was clean and decorated well. Kettle and coffee available. Unfortunately no English breakfast tea or milk. Start getting to breakfast early otherwise they don't replenish stock. Breakfast finished at 11 and we went down at 10 and anything that had run out wasn't replaced so there were a few things we couldn't have.

Very disappointing. Lost money bc we cut our stay short by 2 days as the room was dilapidated. Nothing like the online pics. Baseboards falling off. Exposed nails. Light flickering all day. Wifi sporadic. AC barely worked. Hall carpet smelled. Ongoing construction in front so no car access. Had to wheel our luggage half a block to get a taxi. On the flip side, the front desk staff were very pleasant, understanding, and helpful. They get 5 stars. The property? Barely one star.

I would personally not stay at this hotel unless there was no other option. It looks great on the outside very nice lobby however the room is extremely uncomfortable, the beds are hard as a rock they’re cheap, no pillow top you can feel the springs but worst of all is the climate control you have a Thermostat that is unlike a Thermostat I’ve ever seen you cannot control the Temperature of the room if it’s too cold you have to turn the unit off when you get hot you have to wake up and turn the unit on I brought this to the attention of the front desk and they said oh well that’s our system that’s how it works and we tell you that when you check in, no they didn’t tell me that when I checked in. To add insult to injury I asked for a thicker pillow and what they brought me was a nasty old pillow and I only realized that when I felt really uncomfortable sleeping that night they had two pillowcases over an original dingy yellow pillow that they tried to disguise with two new pillowcases. The hotel is in a good location but like I said earlier there are a lot better options and hotels that take your comfort seriously. Unfortunately a lot of the hotels in Europe don’t compare to a standard room in the United States. Their mattresses are cheap and it doesn’t seem like they changed them very often.

Good location close to Plaza Mayor, not sure but it looks the hotel have rooms for hotel.com or expidia only with a bad view, my was with a parking view entrance not even the street, normally I don’t care I used to this because I booked from hotel.com and if everything else is ok,but this time the AC didn’t work properly, the temperature didn’t go down the whole night, it was like a fan.(warm) I believe I pay to much for the place.

All of the staff was great, patiently answering questions for us inexperienced American travelers. The room was nice. There is plenty of food nearby...as in right across the street or around the corner, so don't feel as if you need to pay for the breakfast buffet. The metro subway station is pretty close if you are confident enough to navigate something like that in a foreign country. The ONLY bad thing about this hotel was that there seemed to be a bottleneck getting out of the neighborhood in the taxi every time except early morning or late evening. That is not the hotel's fault. It just means the taxi fare is higher due to time spent sitting in traffic. Possibly that happens anywhere near Plaza Mayor.

Can’t beat the location! Walk straight and you’ll reach Puerta del Sol, turn left and you’ll reach Plaza Mayor, down the block and you’ll reach the Tirso de Molina stop on the Metro 1 (light blue) line which will take you to all the sights in Madrid. The only issue is every morning you have to walk through the corner church giving out food for the homeless and sidewalk can get extremely crowded.

Personnel très aimable et arrangeant, bien situé, propre. Transports à proximité (facile d'accès). Quartier un peu bruyant le soir. Petit bémol : le petit déjeuner est servi à partir de 6h mais tout le buffet chaud / salé n'est pas en place avant 7h30 (pendant notre séjour en tout cas). C'est un peu dommage. Mais Très bon séjour en globalité !
