The location of this hotel is great! Right at the lake, very calm, private little beach/terrace area from which you can also enter the lake for a swim. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant and bar area were also very cute! We had lunch at the restaurant once and were very happy with the price/quality.

This is an old building directly fronting the lake and adjacent to the ferry terminal. A short walk to the central square and there is also a bus stop right outside the gates. Service good from the friendly staff. Food offer quite high end. There is a lounging area they cal the beach, with a jetty to swim in the lake which was surprisingly warm in August. The bathroom was a delightful trip back to the early 1980s but on the whole, the positioning on the lake and the views are outstanding.

Excellent location, two minutes from the ferry terminal and bus stop. The room looked out over Lake Como. Lots of places to eat and drink, and a short walk to the cable car up to Pigra for even more amazing views. The hotel has a jetty into the lake, perfect for jumping in!

The moment we stepped off the bus, we were greeted with most beautiful hotel! We knew it was going to be spectacular! The view of Lake Como from the restaurant inside the hotel was amazing. Our room was comfortable and clean. The added ability to swim right off their private dock was a bonus. Our breakfast and dinner there was amazing. We will definitely return!

Our flight was delayed and we arrived late, after the check-in window had closed, but the staff went completely above and beyond to help us make it there okay. They kept parking open late and provided an extremely clear and personalized instruction guide to access the property, retrieve our key, and make it to our room late at night. The area was gorgeous and the room was on a corner, very nice and clean. I would love to stay here again.

The hotel itself is good, the view is wonderful. However, the overnight stay was very uncomfortable as the staff did not keep the remote control for the air conditioning in the room, but downstairs in reception. On the day of our overnight stay, the remote controls were out of stock according to a member of staff, the next day we were told that the remote control for the air conditioning was only in one place at reception, which the member of staff had not found. As a result, we slept with high temperatures and an open window without air conditioning, although this was included in the price. On request there was also no price reduction despite the lack. That was a bit disappointing. Therefore only 3 out of 5 stars.

Le restaurant était bon. Mais le wifi inexistant (ne rejoignait pas le deuxième étage) malgré plusieurs demandes que le personnel a plutôt choisi d’ignorer disant que leur wifi marchait très bien sur leur téléphone! Aussi il n’y avait pas d’eau chaude entre 8h et 10h du matin puisque trop de personnes prenaient leur douche en même temps. Sans internet je n’ai pas pu travailler mes dossiers et il a fallu se lever de bonne heure le deuxième jour pour avoir de l’eau chaude. Sinon l’endroit est très beau…

You can’t ask for a better location Right on the lake with amazing views. Took the public boat to Como and Bellagio which worked well but was packed due to the summer season. The breakfast at the hotel is well worthwhile and all the staff helpful. The room was absolutely fine if a little dated but the view makes up for it

We stayed here for a few evenings and to be honest, we were disappointed. The main woman at the front desk seemed frazzled and uninterested to help us when we were discussing transportation to different area of the lake. The room was subpar/ the view GORGEOUS. I wish we had a much better experience overall but it was just bare minimum. There was truly nothing to make us feel special or warm and wanted there. We will not be staying at Hotel Villa Belvedere again but WILL come back to Lake COMO. Italy is gorgeous!

Bästa servicen någonsin! Otrolig trevlig personal jobbar i receptionen ( Katja!!! 👍) Vi fick uppgradering av rummet, en flaska Prosecco pga min födelsedag och fick lämna några timmar efter utcheckningen vår bil på parkeringsplatsen vid hotellet. Utsikten från fönster vår magisk. Även att rummet var ganska enkelt den positiva är och viktigaste var servicen och hotellets lägge. Stor tack till tjejer i receptionen för ett bra jobb!

We checked in after a long and stressful day and the woman at the desk was not welcoming- she couldn't have cared less about us, barely made eye contact. The next morning there was a man at the desk and he was very nice. I wished he had been there the day before. Sheer curtains in the room that did nothing to block the streetlights- I wrapped a sweater around my eyes and finally got to sleep.

Great hotel in an even greater location, the views iews are stunning. Plenty of choice for food and drinks within a short waking distance and the hotel offers very good value dining also. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was excellent. Also like to mention the staff on reception who were very helpful and accomodating. We arrived around 2 hours early and asked if we could park in the car park until check in time, this was no problem and she even checked us into our room early so we could freshen up. Overall fantastic experience and will defintely be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Belvedere. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, we even paid to upgrade our room to a lake view as the hotel was in such a good location to Lake Como. We had a meal at the restaurant in the hotel which was excellent, I would highly recommend this hotel and it’s perfect location.

We were right on the water. Free parking within hotel was a bonus in Lake Como. 50 metres to the ferry. First day we took ferry to Bellagio. Beautiful city but far too busy. In early June , we had to line up for over an hour to catch a ferry back to our hotel. The next day, we drive around the lake and enjoyed the less commercially.

Fantastic stay with a beautiful view over Lake Como. Quiet town that is very tranquil. One thing to be aware of is that not all ferries stop here so make sure you check time tables however the hosts were happy to help and highlight activities and times for ferries and busses. Would have loved to stay longer however it was booked out.

This hotel was located in a quiet town off Lake Como that was easy to reach another fairy board that is more convenient to the rest of the lake. They do have a fair, but it runs less frequently than the bigger towns. We found several good restaurants and enjoyed our stay at the hotel

We loved staying at this property in Argegno! Our room opened right out to the Lake and it was clean and a wonderful place to relax. The town is charming and quieter than Bellagio and Varenna! We would definitely stay here again. The only criticism I have is that the breakfast was not stocked well enough and only 1 person was trying to manage it. Food had run out and the coffee machine wasn’t working properly. It definitely was not worth the money we paid to have breakfast there. After the first morning we chose to eat breakfast elsewhere. Still, we loved this hotel!
