We enjoyed our stay at The Spice Ship. It was in a really good location for us and it had parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was great and the Sunday roast was the best meal we had had on our 3 week holiday in England! Would stay there again if we are ever back in Weymouth.

A cracking little room with everything you'd need. Great shower area, fab bed, good parking, Booked a meal and that was fab, too. Lovely friendly staff, absolute 5 star. Just a smidgeon off 5 stars, as the room was really hot. The thoughtfully supplied fan helped, but a small thing in a lovely stay. Well done all.

Great pub with a lively atmosphere...great food at very reasonable prices (and the drinks were a good price too!) Lovely comfortable bed and the room had everything including toiletries, tea and coffee and biscuits. Good choice at breakfast - the eggs benedict were delicious!

Firstly when i went to check in i felt i was waiting around for a while rather than someone seeing me, the room itself was noisy with the outside elements coming through the window, in fairness i think the windows need replacing. Staff called time at the bar around 21:45, at around just after 22:00 2 customers were served at the bar even though the other colleagues in the bar including me saying the bar was closed, there needs to be more consistency with what's allowed and not. I also work in a pub it's important to keep customers happy.

Amazing room with lots of space and facilities. Plenty of parking and only a few minutes drive to Weymouth and Bowleaze. Breakfast was standard (would have loved fruit or yoghurt included) but the hot food was nice. We weren't keen on the pub food we ate but maybe we made the wrong choices.

What a great character place to stay for a couple of nights. Beautifully refurbished rooms and quiet even though close to a road. The inclusive breakfast was excellent with cereal, bread/toast, a selection of jams and a choice of hot food brought to you fresh and of course unlimited tea/coffee. All for a similar price to Premier Inn (no competition)

The room wasnt clean, shower was dirty and hairs in bed and on pillows. There was a band on live playing directly below our room till after 11 which is fair enough but there was no pre warning and we had to have an early start the following day. Food ok, staff friendly.

Had a very enjoyable 2 night stay. Room….we were in Portland suite, was fabulous. Attention to detail was great. A good hearty breakfast each morning. Will definitely be back when next in the area.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. We ate at the pub a couple of times and the food was tasty and reasonably priced, freshly cooked pub food. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. The room had recently been redecorated and was clean and comfortable. The hosts added a couple of little extra touches which were a pleasant surprise. I believe the pub is under new management and having read some of the previous reviews, was very pleasantly surprised. There is bus stop immediately outside the pub, which will take you straight into Weymouth within a 10 minute ride.

Checked in at 5pm and ordered dinner. Service was excellent. Had a lovely Sunday roast dinner. Room is lovely, decor is very nice, great shower in bathroom. Room next to busy road but had no trouble sleeping. Very comfortable room. Breakfast was excellent. Staff are very nice. Will definitely stay here again

This has to be one of the best rooms I have stayed in for a while. And puts some of the major luxury hotels to shame. I stayed in the 'Portland' room which is very quirky and well equipped. Lots of nice touches like hot chocolate. biscuits, bath robes and slippers and a fully equipped kitchen with dining area and a comfortable sofa. It even had a washing machine ! The rooms are next the pub which does great food and a nice breakfast. The staff are very friendly. Thanks. A wonderful stay.

Great stop over for the night. Good value and breakfast included. Rooms are small but had everything you needed. Aa its on a main road, you can hear the road traffic but they leave little courtesy packs in the rooms that contain ear plugs and eye mask :)

Wasn't sure what to expect when I booked the room at the spice ship due to it being part of a pub. But was pleasantly surprised. The service was really good, staff were really friendly and accommodating, and to top it off the food was tasty. They even offered a continental breakfast to be dropped outside the door because I was leaving before breakfast started in the morning.

Just stayed a night and had a lovely time. The female staff especially the young lady who checked us in were excellent and couldn't do enough for us and our dog. Only downside was the noise from the traffic, however the ear plugs supplied were a nice touch.

The place is unique in my opinion because of a personal touch, attention to details and amazing people working there. I stayed twice in The Spice Ship with my partner, while we're working in the area. There is also a restaurant with very good food. I don't want to stay anywhere else now.

Checked in at 5pm and ordered dinner. Service was excellent. Had a lovely Sunday roast dinner. Room is lovely, decor is very nice, great shower in bathroom. Room next to busy road but had no trouble sleeping. Very comfortable room. Breakfast was excellent. Staff are very nice. Will definitely stay here again

We enjoyed our stay at The Spice Ship. It was in a really good location for us and it had parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was great and the Sunday roast was the best meal we had had on our 3 week holiday in England! Would stay there again if we are ever back in Weymouth.

Great pub with a lively atmosphere...great food at very reasonable prices (and the drinks were a good price too!) Lovely comfortable bed and the room had everything including toiletries, tea and coffee and biscuits. Good choice at breakfast - the eggs benedict were delicious!

Amazing room with lots of space and facilities. Plenty of parking and only a few minutes drive to Weymouth and Bowleaze. Breakfast was standard (would have loved fruit or yoghurt included) but the hot food was nice. We weren't keen on the pub food we ate but maybe we made the wrong choices.

We had a small room at the front and with windows open we could hear the noise from the traffic, but room was newly decorated clean with decent shower, adequate for what we needed for 2 nights with our dog £10 extra per night. lively bar decent breakfast included.

The WiFi situation was poor (that’s a must these days because guests need to be able to access the internet) and the TV wasn’t the best experience. There was a lot of road noise early in the morning. The bed was “super comfortable” and the shower was excellent. 7/10 for the breakfast. The staff were lovely.

Great breakfast (packed up up too ) and great start to the day . Friendly staff and convenient bar downstairs yet surprisingly quiet enough . There are ear plugs if you need them but I did not :) definite recommend and a new favourite .
