Notre séjour à Maresca Hotel etait parfait. L’hôtel est bien situé à Praiano tout près d’un arrêt d’autobus, parfait pour visiter Amalfi et Positano en peu de temps. Que dire des hôtes… ils sont super! Tous gentils et serviables. L’hôtel est calme, nous étions souvent seuls dans les aires communes. La chambre etait très spacieuse! Et un petit extra est le parking gratuit directement à l’hôtel.. Wow! je recommande à 100% pour un prochain séjour sur la côte amalfitaine.

The property is very nice. Well maintained. Tip when arriving to hotel get off at BUS STOP 10! Which is in front of the hotel. Downtown is bus stop 7. We got off bus stop 7 and walked a half mile to the hotel. It is a beautiful walk though. Family owned and staffed and very attentive and friendly. They will make you eggs any style and coffee any style. Eat breakfast with an amazing view. No food allowed in rooms but understandable. They don’t want to get ants in the room. They have a great a/c system that if you open the windows it’s turns off. So keep that in mind. Mia and Salvatore at front desk were so kind and helpful.The hotel is walking distance to free beach with great and affordable places to eat. I am a 64 years old and everything was walkable. Some restaurants provide free shuttle service. There is a Great little market owned by Stephane and his parents. Can buy tickets for bus at a discount price in market in front of hotel. My husband and I travel often and have stayed in the best, four seasons to the worst. This is a little gem. We did not want to leave. I will tell all my friends and family to stay here.

We loved our stay at Hotel Maresca. The staff was so friendly and helpful with arranging private transfers to/from the airport, hotel and train station. Amazing location just steps to the bus stop to go anywhere in Praiano along with the SITA busses for the entire coast. Hotel felt very safe as there is a gate that locks at midnight nobody has access to besides hotel guests. Great location if you are planning to see more towns on the coast, highly recommend staying in Praiano at Hotel Maresca. Room was cleaned daily and had an amazing view of the water. We would stay again!

Excellent hotel , Antonio, family and staff were all so helpful. From restaurant recommendations, Public transport directions and the amazing breakfast his brother and team served with the beautiful views - highly recommends. From road, onky few steps to reception and two small flights to our room with large outdoor area and the best views. Loved Praiano as nowhere as busy as Positano and Amalfi and short walk to Marina di Praia for swimming, ferries and more great restaurants

Clean and tidy, well kept rooms in good condition. The room was very spacious. Staff were very friendly. The girl who checked us in gave us a heap of restaurant recommendations and tips on catching the local buses and how to get to different places, which was very helpful. The location is quite good, very convenient location to walk to the main beach, has a convenience store just next door and within 50m of two bus stops. Another bonus which we didn't realise is that because it's pretty much on the main road, you avoid having to walk up hundreds of stairs, which is the case for many other accommodation options in the area. Would definitely recommend to others.

Nic family run place. Just a little sparse and lacking in rooms - as in, No room hot drinks / kettle, no water. Beds hard and pillows lacking. Strange parking rules - free if you don’t move you car for whole duration of stay- or 35 euro per day if you do.

The hotel was immaculate and with the most beautiful sea views. We arrived early due to travel, and the staff were accommodating and offered us a warm welcome and even breakfast! - breakfast was delicious every morning with fresh eggs and fruit. Everything was just perfect and we would return to this hotel every time. Thank you to everyone at Maresca hotel!

We really loved our stay at Hotel Maresca and in Praiano! Our room was clean and spacious, with a magnificent view of the sea. You can tell that they take pride in maintaining the hotel. The breakfast was simple but the quality was top notch! They offered fresh eggs (however you liked it) and fresh caffe. Antonio was so helpful and recommended some great places to explore. We loved chatting to him as he is so kind and welcoming. The only feedback is that the shower pressure in the bathroom was weak. Overall, we had a fabulous time in Praiano and would definitely stay at Hotel Maresca again! Thank you Zio Antonio! :)

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Maresca. Antonio went through so many details at our check in - including recommendations for things to do during our stay, places to eat, transportation routes etc. The view from the breakfast balcony is beautiful. We had a very large patio off our room with a view of the sea all sheltered by the most amazing Lemon tree! It is a short walk to Marina do Praia as well. You could definitely sense the family atmosphere of the hotel.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Maresca. The staff was very friendly, breakfast was satisfactory, hotel was very clean and had some charming characteristics. The bus stop was very convenient, right outside the hotel. There were a few disappointing things about our stay. The view from our room was the roof of another hotel instead of the sea. Bathroom was very small, could not even open the door up all the way. Very few amenities….no hair dryer or coffee pot in the room. However, these things would not stop us from staying there again.

Cannot recommend Maresca enough! Traveled for my honeymoon and first of all, Praiano was definitely the place to stay. Plenty of restaurants, accessible beach. Our room at Maresca had a gorgeous ocean view and was extremely spacious. There was a beautiful view with breakfast as well.

LOVE this hotel!! The rooms nice spacious and vey clean. Beds are comfortable. A beautiful ocean view terrace to have breakfast or a glass of wine. , A family owned hotel, Anthony, George, Mia and her brother were all so LOVELY, helpful and accommodating. Honestly they made our trip! Great location in Praiano, a few minutes to the bus stop, less than 10 min walk to the beach. We walked to town for dinner maybe a 20 min walk to town. Much quieter than Positano. If you stay in Praiano this is def where u want to stay!

The hotel was beautiful. The views were amazing, staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast and coffee were exceptional. When we checked it we were shown a map of the area and recommended spots to see and how to get there. Our room was spacious and the AC worked really well.

The only thing I can say that is not very good is the air conditioning in the room does not cool enough and the windows cannot be opened because of the mosquitoes.

We had a brilliant stay here. The convenience store right above is incredibly useful but we need to give a HUGE shout out to the staff. We were left stranded the day we were leaving for Naples, no ferries due a storm which meant the buses and taxis were all full. Two hours stood at a bus stop! But very very kindful a member of the staff drove us all the way to Sorrento (an hour away) so we could catch a train. Saved our lives. Highly recommend this hotel.

This family run hotel was just excellent. Rooms were beautiful, very clean, comfortable and well stocked. The young women from the front desk provided a list of local restaurants, bus schedules and recommendations. The breakfast was awesome with the best cappuccinos. I would recommend this hotel to any of my family and friends.

Beautiful views of the Mediterranean, delicious breakfast (best croissants we've ever had), and the very responsive, helpful staff made this a wonderful trip. Antonio booked us a car service from the airport, arranged another car service to take us to Pompeii on the way to the train station after check-out, and stayed late to check us in. You can also buy a bus ticket at the market next door for 1.50 euros to go to Amalfi or Positano, so it's very easy to see the whole Amalfi coast from this location.

We loved our stay at Hotel Maresca. The staff was so friendly and helpful with arranging private transfers to/from the airport, hotel and train station. We stayed at Hotel Maresca for nine nights and honestly didn’t want to leave. This place is such a gem. Every morning we woke up to the most beautiful view and had cappuccinos with croissants and Nutella on the patio. Our favorite part by far was the family who runs it. Antonio is the best. Every single day we’d wave to him or stop to chat and he was always there to help. He gave us tips, mapped out routes, helped us plan around any curveballs. Just a genuinely kind person who made us feel so welcome. Praiano itself is also such a great place to stay. We’ve been to Positano and Amalfi and while those are pretty, they’re packed and way more touristy. Praiano felt calm and real. Not as remote as Agerola but still full of local spots, friendly people, and everything you’d need within walking distance. There are markets, souvenir shops, and great restaurants all nearby. The SITA bus stop is just steps from the hotel and connects you to the entire coast. Just a few euros per ride and you can grab tickets right next door at the little shop. Food in town was amazing. Our favorites were Trattoria San Gennaro up by the church and Il Pirata which is right on the water inside a cave. We had dinner and drinks there and then spent our last day renting beach chairs from them. It was 30 euro each for the day and totally worth it. We ordered food and drinks from our chairs and swam in the ocean right in front of us. Pure heaven.

This hotel is a 20 min walk into main Praiano. This was fine for us but important to know. On the flip side it was only a 5-10 minute walk to the Praiana marina and beach which was great. We loved it, very spacious deluxe room, dry clean and beautifully kept. We loved breakfast and the owner/ manager was so helpful, kind and friendly. This was fab. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Notre séjour à Maresca Hotel etait parfait. L’hôtel est bien situé à Praiano tout près d’un arrêt d’autobus, parfait pour visiter Amalfi et Positano en peu de temps. Que dire des hôtes… ils sont super! Tous gentils et serviables. L’hôtel est calme, nous étions souvent seuls dans les aires communes. La chambre etait très spacieuse! Et un petit extra est le parking gratuit directement à l’hôtel.. Wow! je recommande à 100% pour un prochain séjour sur la côte amalfitaine.

The property is very nice. Well maintained. Tip when arriving to hotel get off at BUS STOP 10! Which is in front of the hotel. Downtown is bus stop 7. We got off bus stop 7 and walked a half mile to the hotel. It is a beautiful walk though. Family owned and staffed and very attentive and friendly. They will make you eggs any style and coffee any style. Eat breakfast with an amazing view. No food allowed in rooms but understandable. They don’t want to get ants in the room. They have a great a/c system that if you open the windows it’s turns off. So keep that in mind. Mia and Salvatore at front desk were so kind and helpful.The hotel is walking distance to free beach with great and affordable places to eat. I am a 64 years old and everything was walkable. Some restaurants provide free shuttle service. There is a Great little market owned by Stephane and his parents. Can buy tickets for bus at a discount price in market in front of hotel. My husband and I travel often and have stayed in the best, four seasons to the worst. This is a little gem. We did not want to leave. I will tell all my friends and family to stay here.

In short, this hotel was PERFECT! This was our first time to the Amalfi Coast so was not sure where to stay, but we are so glad we ended up in Praiano - and even the side of town we stayed in. Praiano was the perfect hub for visiting other key location on the Amalfi Coast - Positano, Amalfi (& Ravello) with a maximum 30 minute bus journey. The town of Praiano has some of the best (if not THE best) views of the coast, overlooking Positano all along to Capri. Our hotel was however along the coast to not have this view, but was next to a lovely cove beach (pebble not sand), which was the only beach on Praiano. This meant we had access within 5min walk to the sea and the boat trips, whilst only being a 20 minutes walk from the best views with evening sunsets for a meal at a number of restaurants. Back to the Maresca Hotel specifics. Communications before we travelled was excellent, providing details of best ways to get there, best things to do, and best ways of navigating the coast (essential piece of knowledge). When we arrive, before designated check in time, we were warmly greeted by Salvatore and offered refreshments whilst paperwork was sorted. We got these on the tables overlooking the water - beautiful. Salvatore gave us info on buses, key locations, key contact details and every day greeted us a smile and asked if we needed anything. The breakfast was amazing - mainly continental and the omelettes were amazing. The room was also very lovely.

Clean and tidy, well kept rooms in good condition. The room was very spacious. Staff were very friendly. The girl who checked us in gave us a heap of restaurant recommendations and tips on catching the local buses and how to get to different places, which was very helpful. The location is quite good, very convenient location to walk to the main beach, has a convenience store just next door and within 50m of two bus stops. Another bonus which we didn't realise is that because it's pretty much on the main road, you avoid having to walk up hundreds of stairs, which is the case for many other accommodation options in the area. Would definitely recommend to others.

The staff was so helpful in planning your day trips and transportation from the airport. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast they provided every morning was excellent. The location of the property made it very easy to make trips to the surrounding towns by land and water. This place is a hidden gem and I will be going back to this property in the near future.

There was one very small shop nearby to buy water etc. breakfast was ok but I feel the bread and Cissont wasn’t fresh the staff was very friendly and helpful you can ask them anything Sal was excellent and the young girl too she helped us a lot Taxi service was very expensive The area is nice but the Main Street is narrow beach access is all the way down you take stairs to get there the hotel has lots of stairs too.

The hotel was beautiful. The views were amazing, staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast and coffee were exceptional. When we checked it we were shown a map of the area and recommended spots to see and how to get there. Our room was spacious and the AC worked really well.

I would definitely stay at Maresca Hotel next time I am on the Amalfi coast! Staff was excellent!! They were able to provide recommendations of things to do and treat us like family throughout our stay. I would highly recommend staying here if you don't like being within crowded areas and just a vespa drive away from both Positano and Amalfi.

I would highly recommend staying here if you don't like being within crowded areas and just a vespa drive away from both Positano and Amalfi.

This is a gem! Maresca hotel is so well situated between Positano and Amalfi. The bus stop is next to the hotel and its 20 minutes away from each. The hotel is excellent! Clean, beautiful aircon rooms, easy reachable from the street, 700 meters away from the beach and walkaway from good restaurants. Their breakfasts are amazing which includes coffee, pastries, eggs etc overlooking the Mediterranean. The staff is exceptional, helpful and friendly. This was our best stay in the Amalfi coast!

The hotel is in a very well location. The view from the rooms are excellent Mediterranean view. The staff is very kind and very friendly. They have to improve the rooms a little, it will be one of the most beautiful hotels in the area. For example not to have the possibility to make your own cup of tea or coffee in the room is not convenient. Towels n the bathroom always missing the second one. Other than this we couldn't get enough of the beautiful view. They have parking that is also very convenient.
