Rooms were huge, clean and well appointed but dated. Grounds were very well maintained and staff were very helpful. Pool was clean but needs a few tiles replaced. I can imagine in its day it was a beautiful property. For the money it was well worth it.

El personal muy amable, lamentablemente al hotel le falta mucho mantenimiento. El w.c. tenia fuga de agua, no había ventiladores en la villa (el pobre sr. de mantenimiento tuvo que hacer maravillas para conseguir ventiladores porque no había suficientes para todas las habitaciones) Me hice una herida profunda en el dedo del pié, literal me rebané el dedo con un azulejo roto del fondo de la alberca. Lo triste es que fué el primer día y ya no pude disfrutar mi estancia por la hemorragia y el dolor al caminar. El lugar es muy bonito y tranquilo. El desayuno Delicioso, todo el personal muy atento y amable.

None of the amenities that were advertised actually existed. I booked a kitchen because I like to cook. Very few cooking items were included, the stove didn’t work well and oven didn’t work at all. The refrigerator door wouldn’t stay closed. The fireplace did not work. The bed was hard as a rock. The bedding and towels were threadbare. There was no bar. The breakfast was passable but it had eight items only and two were not available any longer. The pool was not heated. The WiFi constantly cut out and worked VERY slowly for the brief periods it was working. The hot water (tepid really) ran out before one could complete a reasonable shower. The desk person in the morning and the waiter at breakfast were lovely. The rest of the staff was rude and surly. I am not a snob and I wasn’t expecting the Ritz but this was a total shabby lie. I expect it will fail soon. There were few guests and any other guests I with had the same complaints. Sadly, the hotel has amazing potential but is rundown and needs some upgrading and robust management. I would love to see it done properly.

I’m still staying here tonight only, thank god. The property advertises a bar, restaurant, pool and fireplace. There is nothing to burn in the fireplace, there is no water in the room only an empty garafon holder. No ice is available and there are no restaurants or bars. Will not return.

This is a well kept, clean property. Huge rooms. By American standards, although well kept, everything is worn down. Beds are hard, pillows not great. But again, everything is clean. The people are lovely but don’t expect them to speak English. The pool is great, the breakfasts are very good. Very quiet. My 3rd stay here. Convenient location.

En el iterior de apatamento hotel puedes sentir lo que es vivir como si fueras local. Property originally a monastery, then medical clinic, and now a hotel. It was huge rooms, like a cave, and very poor lighting. Staff very nice, and helpful. It was never updated to be a hotel, it was designed to be a monastery. Bed mattress very poor. Internet - terrible. Ended up with no hot shower. I would like a refund or credit for bad hotel. hot shower

The receptionist was rude and claimed she spoke no English. On the second to last day of my stay she instructed the housekeeper to speak to me on the phone, and informed me I was late checking out. I got dressed and went to the front desk. When I got to the front desk she told me in perfect English she had talked to Expedia and I didn’t have to check out until the next day. No apology was given.
