This hotel has amazing views over Frankfurt’s skyline and the breakfast is fantastic. However there is room for improvement. The elevator area and hallways are somehow a bit dark and uninviting. Room cleaning should take better care, especially of the windows area (windowsill). There is only one treadmill in the gym, which was out of order. Still I would recommend a (short) stay in this Scandic. Enjoy the views and the great breakfast.

The property is really nice and the facilities are clean. The only thing I could comment about is the price of parking. They don’t have their own and it’s €45 per night unless you are able to find a spot on the street.

We had a high up city view room. Space enough for two. Gym is very well equipped, but no sauna which is strange for a Scandic hotel. Great location, very close (but not too close) to train station. We walked all over as you are a block away from river and close to the old town with its shops and markets as well as bridges that take you over to all the galleries and museums. The best thing about our stay was the great staff. Front desk always polite and friendly. Gabriel and Claudia in the bar made our last evening so much fun. Thank you!

After waiting all day for them to service the room I went downstairs to report that the service people had left the floor. When I said my room was not serviced, they said that they didn’t service the room because I didn’t order it by scanning a sign downstairs., and they were quite short about it. So I asked for clean towels which they said would they would deliver to my room. How was I to know that I had to order room cleaning. It would have been nice to have been informed because I am 75 years old and have never been asked to scan something so that they would service the room. Never again Scandic.

I hate to leave bad reviews, but this was warrented. There was no hot water throughout the hotel, the fridge in the room didnt work, the room was in need of maintenance (mold in shower grout), and no phone to the front desk. The staff at the fromt desk however were great

Al volver el primer día nos encontramos con que no habían arreglado la habitación. Nos dijeron que es política de Scandic no arreglar los cuartos si el cliente no lo pide, lo que me parece deplorable. El hotel es muy costoso y de ninguna manera se justifica esa política. Finalmente nos obsequiaron el desayuno a cambio de las molestias. El desayuno, por cierto, es muy bueno. Un problema adicional es que la puerta de la ducha no cierra y el cuarto de baño se inunda. Start of review: Unfortunately, our stay at the Scandic Frankfurt Museumsufer was quite disappointing. The hotel’s minimalist decor seems to extend to its approach to cleanliness and customer service. From the start, we encountered a significant issue with the air conditioning system in our room. Despite sending a technician, the problem could not be resolved, and we were only offered a small fan as a solution. This was far from adequate, especially during warm weather. The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. The curtains and blinds had multiple spots, and it was unclear whether these were food stains or something more concerning (e.g. blood). The window sills were marred by excessive watermarks, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning for some time. While the room was spacious enough to fit a king-size bed, the overall tightness of the space wasn’t the primary issue. Our main concern was the apparent lack of cleanliness. The white walls and curtains only served to highlight the dirtiness, making it difficult to feel comfortable. We had hoped for a much better experience, but the poor cleanliness and inadequate customer service were too significant to overlook. Regrettably, we will not be staying at the Scandic Frankfurt Museumsufer on future trips to Frankfurt.

Overall, this is a great place to stay. The rooms/bathrooms are slightly small but that is expected in a big city. The biggest issue we had was how hot it was. The hotel had already turned the AC off for the winter, but it was not very cold outside (50-60 F). If you turned the "AC" on, it only blew very hot air and it was miserably/swealtering hot in the room. We turned it all off and opened the window but could not sleep under the covers. The breakfast buffet in the morning was amazing and convenient! The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. Walkable to the train station which was nice and great location to get anywhere needed in Frankfurt. Overall, would stay here again but would probably avoid winter since it was so hot with the heaters.

clean hotel well positioned for river and shops. magnificent view from the city rooms however the bed is on a platform to obtain the view and it is quite dangerous as it's easy to step off (as I did) and hurt yourself. Good room facilities for the price.

I stayed in a Superior View room and the view really did contribute greatly to my stay. The bed was very comfortable with quality linens. Everything was clean. There is a kettle, water and coffee in the room to get you started. I did not try the buffet breakfast. The hotel is very convenient to the museums but a distance from most other sites in Frankfurt. You must walk back to the train station to get transportation connections. It is about three blocks to the station but the station area is not too pleasant an area. I never felt in danger but at times uncomfortable and unwelcome. The hotel is just far enough away from the station to be in a better neighborhood, however, around the hotel it is more of a business area so there are no cafes or grocery stores nearby. The hotel has a small section in the lobby where you can buy a few food items and drinks. I'm not sure if they serve any other meals other than the buffet.

Excellent stay in Frankfurt! What a well appointed, spacious room in a modern hotel. The bedding was extremely comfortable and it was walkable to Romerberg and restaurants. The staff are truly efficient and so helpful. Everyone from front desk and in the restaurant were so attentive, warm and accommodating. Highly recommend and will stay here again!

Service was very poor, when we arrived 2 staff were working the front desk and probably took them about 15-20 mins even to acknowledge us. Weren’t overly friendly when they finally did. They rooms them selves were okay, pillows were horrible, like lying on a bag of cotton balls. So uncomfortable. The location itself is a little sketchy, lots of abandoned buildings near by and homeless. Not much in the way of food close to the hotel, so are hooped for breakfast. We did have a snack at the bar in the evening and it was okay but again very expensive. Bar staff were quite friendly. Rooms were quiet, however there was some drilling (?) going on. We only stayed for one night which was enough for us

Very good location only 8 minutes from train station and 2 minutes from the river for a nice walk. Staff were excellent and helped us store luggage before and after check-in/checkout. Also very helpful with other information when asked. Buffet breakfast was also very good. Very nice rooms with excellent views.

I paid upon reservation but when tried to check out, they told me that I did not pay. To solve this, I had to come back from Messe to the hotel again and totally wasted my time. Anyway it was their fault that they did not take money from the third travel agency between us, but they just kept asking me to prove from my side. They did not take any action from their side to help solve the situation. It was my second time to stay here but really disappointed.

Very lovely hotel. If you get lucky you can have a view of seeing the waterfront and the old town. Very convenient location to most attractions. Would say just to be cautious around some areas near the train station, as it’s easy to get lost into the red light district, however, people tend to leave you alone.

This is a great hotel very close to the river and train station. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we have found. I can’t say enough about the staff, they are extremely helpful. We are vegans and the breakfast buffet has a large selection of well marked foods.

Clean well appointed hotel with an amazing breakfast (Shall I be sincere and say that I shall be goimg back just to try the breakfast again LOL). Nice large rooms with all the trimmings. Great shower pressure and a good sized bathroom. Very comfy beds. Easy walk from station and also to the museum district as well as the centre. However there are buses & trans that take you everywhere a few mins walk away. Go for it - you won’t regret it as it’s a darn good hotel and a good price too

The breakfast buffet was quintessentially German (clean, organized, healthy) and had everything you could possibly eat for breakfast. Breads, of course, with the usual array of cold cuts and cheeses, but also a juicer and raw fruits and veggies, a waffle station, cereals, yogurts with nuts and seeds for Müsli, herring, salmon, eggs, sausages. After being away from Germany since Covid, I nearly cried with happiness at this breakfast.
