We were lucky and got an upgrade but the apartment (at No 18) was very good, with all facilities including in room laundry & drier. A huge balcony, no particularly great views but a great spot for outdoor breakfast while self catering. Shared access to a swimming pool in the building was also very welcome. Easy access on foot to arts theatre, bars, buses, trains, ferries, Streets Beach, a few supermarkets, and bridges across to business district. Check in was easy & friendly with good communication before we arrived. Fairly easy to get to by direct train from airport & 10 minutes walk.

Location was great, check in process easy (cheched in during reception's business hours) and everything was there that we needed. however, one of the two bedrooms did not have AC, when I was booking, I was only looking for accomodation with AC, and also pool was not usable, reception allowed us access to yhe other building pool ehich was ok

The overall stay was fine, check in was easy, the rooms felt clean although the place does need a bit of a refresher with wear and damage on walls and doors. The front entrance foyer was abit dirty and had a bit of a smell to it. The pool area was fine albeit a bit small but don’t go here expecting much of a gym as it’s just a single treadmill and exercise bike in a small room. This was classified as an 8 star on hotels.com but I would say it’s more of a 7 compared to other hotels in the area. Overall the important bits ( easy check in, bedroom/bathrooms/kitchen clean and tidy) so happy with the stay for the price I got in for!

Nice large apartment what showed some signs of aging especially in the bathroom. In general, comfy bed and despite being near the main road, good night's sleep. The pool area and gym is tiny. Pool might 3x2m.

Great room, bedding very comfortable. Surrounding street parking / stopping is difficult, but parking onsite is relatively inexpensive. I made a special effort to shorten my day as the check-in process after 5pm seems a bit complicated with photo documentation required to be sent during office hours to enable after hours check-in (as advised after booking confirmed). Sometimes you are just running late. For a Wotif guest, maybe the identification of the guest at Wotif should be enough.

Great place, only stayed overnight after our flight in the evening to leave for Sunshine coast the day after but the facilities in room were great, clean and nice views, Pool was small and cold but i guess will be great in summer Cafe just outsude the place had great coffee and snacks Will def stay again 👌

I’ll start with the good. The receptionist was very nice and said she had upgraded us to a city view room which was a nice thing to do. The place was easy to find and good to have parking available although $15 per night. Good location. Fairly small for a 2 bedroom. The apartment was unfortunately very filthy. When you’re paying such a high price you expect the place to be clean. I’ve stayed in many apartments in Southbank but this has definitely been the worst. The carpets were filthy we ended up having to wear shoes the whole time and put a mat by the bed to have clean feet to get in to bed with. Not great for a crawling baby that you couldn’t let touch the dirty floor. The washing machine was full of mold and smelt rotten. The showers were also full of mold. The dishes were filthy. There were a pair of underwear left in the bedroom. The shower door gets stuck closed and you nearly have to break it to get out. Top it off they expect you to clean your dishes and empty all the rubbish or you will get fined $100.

The location was convenient and check in process was easy. The carpet had tufts of other people’s hair all over, too many to count and having a crawling baby made it all the more gross. I called Reception for a vacuum or room change as soon as we had checked in but it was close to end of day and the call went unanswered, called the after hours number and left a message and sent an email but had no response. Apparently after requesting a vacuum the following morning it was done but the room was no cleaner. Glitter and more hair throughout the bathrooms and drawers etc. Garbage chute was very smelly. Second room had no aircon.

Felt dirty, shower was slimy, yucky smell as soon as open front door, dirty cups in cupboard. Noise from room above was biggest problem. Could hear footsteps constantly that drove me mad. Elevator also noisy but not as irritating as the footsteps. Would not stay again based off the noise alone. Can cope with the dirtiness but not the noise.

Carpets were stained, as was the couch. The bathroom was clean. The kitchen was clean. There were only batteries for one remote so the TV and A/C remotes had to have their batteries interchanged. No housekeeping services between nights. No facilities to obtain extra UHT milk between night stays.

After issues with the first room we were given - balcony door that wouldn't lock, air con that smelt (in my daughter's words) 'like a butcher's shop', and a cut arm from a broken glass table top, we were moved to another apartment which was more pleasant. The staff were polite and helpful, finding solutions to the issues as they were able.

Biggest problem is parking , hD to drive around for quite a while to find the place then park. Signage is poor for parking from the council. After dtiving 4 odd hours to get there last thing you want is parking problems. Plus signage of Morgans not great and bloody noisy trains till 3am

Everything from my late check in process to check out was great. The room had everything I needed. I am giving 4 stars only because there are maintenance issues such as stains and worn furniture. However, the room was spacious, water pressure was excellent, kitchen was fully equipped.

Great location, only 5 minutes walk from cafes and the Expedition Centre. The kitchen was large and well-stocked. On the downside, the wifi was extremely slow, too slow to use it for work or meetings. Also, the apartment didn't have heat and could have benefited from maintenance. For example, the TV remote didn't work and the toilet paper holder was broken.

Looked a little dated in the unit. Parking was easy. Easy walk to South Bank. Friendly service and the room had everything we needed. Although we were right near a train line, the double glazing glass blocked out all of the noise.

Accom and location were excellent for me. Biggest disappointment was trying to let Morgans know I would be an after-hours checkin. I rang their number numerous times, it simply rang out after a message that said we might not be able to answer you. I emailed them at least 3 times on the day and never received an answer. What started all this was TWO emails from them requesting me to text through photos of my Driver Licence and my Credit card! (and then a note at the bottom of the email to say never text details of your Credit card!). It was very frustrating, wondering on my one and half drive to Brisbane whether I'd even have a bed to sleep in! Once there I was 'processed' by a helpful lady on the intercom.

Amazing welcome from front office lady(sorry I don’t know your name) we had arrived early due to bushfires around our town and she not only let us check in early but would not let us pay for parking either . It’s these little things that get you return patronage. Spotlessly clean, and everything was just easy - thank you

Monique was fantastic in assisting with a late check in, nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic location, walking distance to a large choice of dining options, the city, and public transport. The room had been renovated and was outstanding, the bed so comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Spacious and good location. Communication was very difficult. Wanted to extend stay by 1 night (attempted to do this 2 weeks prior) - no one responded to my message through wotif, direct email, voicemail phone message. Of the times I called, I was told to call back in hours, no one answered 4 of my other attempts at different times - weekend, weekday, morning, afternoon (voicemail left for 1 of these). Someone answered on my 5th attempt and they were very helpful.

Good amenities in regards to kitchen facilities and washing machine- with laundry detergent provided. Good sized apartment. Smart tv. Comfy bed. Smaller gym facility than expected- only x1 treadmill and x1 bike, nothing else. Girl on reception was very friendly and helpful. Communication could be better as no instruction on how to access wifi or where the pool and gym were. Did also message the property to ask this without reply. Was also given the impression via email that an after-hours check-in would be facilitated by sending me a text with a lockbox code the day before but this was not the case, code can only be given once physically at the property. Overall, would recommend and would happily stay again.

I only stayed one night to see a show at QPAC, Morgan Suites were super convenient to South Bank but also to West End. Walkable to both and close to South Brisbane station. If you’re looking for something clean, comfortable, quiet and cost efficient as well as convenient to the sights, you can’t go wrong. Will definitely stay again.

The Morgan Suites are my preferred place to stay when on business in Brisbane. It is located a short walk from West End's restaurants & slightly further to South Bank. Whilst an older style, the apartments are spacious & clean. The coffee shop below has great coffee which is bonus!

Really helpful staff. Reasonably convenient to South Bank (15 min walk) and city (25 min walk). Cafe downstairs very convenient. Rooms are a good size and well appointed, just a little tired.
