Swan Inn Hotel

I really enjoyed my stay at The Swan Inn. The manager was particularly helpful regarding my late arrival. Bed very comfortable.

We arrived at 1.30pm and asked for lunch but were told they didn't have a chef at the moment. We ate at another pub in the village where we were told that the place we were staying in hadn't had a chef for months! We had booked to attend a gig that night nearby so had no option but to stay there. No chef however, also meant no breakfast and so we left at 9.00am. No apologies given, and when we questioned the chalkboard in the bar offering food, we were told they 'hadnt had time to alter it'. Although the beds were comfy, and the shower pretty good, the windows were filthy, and the bathrom one had a broken catch so it couldn't be closed. Should have advised about the lack of food as it spoilt our stay really, as I booked months in advance

Good position in Center of village has its own spacious car park. Very friendly. It’s an old pub in an old property it’s got character. Lighting in bedroom was poor, but beds very comfortable and room clean.

A lovely welcome and a comfortable room - just what I wanted

Lovely hotel warm an welcoming nice food . Warm environment will stay again another time . Family problem had to cut stay short.
