Preis - Leistung Verhältnis ist top. Würden nächstes Mal doch ein Doppelzimmer im Hotel buchen. Es fehlten Ablageflächen. Die Lage ist top, man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen. Im Parkhaus welches auch in 2 Minuten zu erreichen ist hat man eine Ermäßigte Parkkarte.

Prijs / kwaliteitverhouding was prima, hartje Alkmaar, auto op nog geen 5 min afstand kunnen parkeren. Hotel had ook uitrijkaart, waardoor we goedkoper uit waren na 2,5 dag geparkeerd te hebben voor maar 12,50 euro. Er zijn spelletjes voor kinderen aanwezig. Toen we geen.gebruil maakten van de schoonmaakservice, kregen we op een stroopwafel als presentje :).

Great hostel in Alkmaar. I arrived by train and everywhere is walkable in town. Small room but you have everything needed. Small Kitchen to share on the floor. But no soundproof. Recommend to visit Kennemerpark!

Een gezellig hotel met een leuk concept. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Er is een gasten keukentje en leuke centrale hal waar men eigen meegebracht eten en drinken mag gebruiken en waar men gezellig spelletjes speelt. Prima service.

The refrigerator need to be cleaning every week maximum. It is full of old food that people have left there. A lot of food is in the frig with moisture. You have to find a system to make sure that the food will stay save. Your refrigerator was really bad. But the rest of the hostel was clean. The problem is really the refrigerator.

It was one of the cleanest Hostels, I have been in. I did have a problem twice, with the bathrooms being out of toilet paper. Don't get there to late, the front desk guy, wants to go to his home, to make you feel at home, or let you know much about the property. Toilet seat was broken. Bring your own towel first rule of this hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy! The young girl staff were friendly and helpful! Good place to sleep.

Das Personal war nett und hilfsbereit. Was das Zimmer betrifft, habe ich mir was Besseres vorgestellt . Es ist klein, ziemlich verstaubt, dreckige Tapeten und ziemlich laut. Das Fenster ließ sich nicht öffnen, es war richtig stickig im Zimmer, kaum frische Luft. Der einzige Wunsch war raus und nie wieder. Das einzige Gute ist natürlich die Lage. Bin eher enttäuscht.

The property itself is a nice building, centrally located and staff helpful. However, the shared, 4 bed dorm room I was in, was pretty depression. There was no window or any real natural light or ventilation (apart from a grate in the door). The room was very stuffy & dark as a result. The beds were very basic too, with a hard plastic mattress. The shower was also a bit of a dribble at most, which made showering properly tricky & the lack ventilation meant the whole bedroom became humid if someone showered. The rooms smelled on human odours and sweat as a result of the stuffiness. It’s pretty claustrophobic room set-up. Not a fan of this place, but there are very few other places to go in the city for affordable prices.

Very central location - only downside is that rooms around the central ventilation shaft hear all the cover stations in the other rooms. The earplugs provided are very welcome. The breakfast (extra) is substantial. Would chose boiled egg and not scrambled to accompany another time!

Booked a suit for one night in order to visit this beautiful city. Desk staff were delightful although they did initially give us the key to someone else’s room! Our suit was large, ornate and spacious but at the end of the building next to the busy main road, there was no A/C so one must choose between noise with windows open or a hot stuffy room. Furthermore, there was no wardrobe, only a curtain between the room and toilet, very dim lighting in the bathroom, faulty lighting above the mirror and thick hard pillows, they also charge for the use of an iron!!

Our suit was large, ornate and spacious but at the end of the building next to the busy main road, there was no A/C so one must choose between noise with windows open or a hot stuffy room. It was a four nights stay, the first room we had was awful (impossible to move for two people in this tiny room (would be alright for a single) nothing to hang or tide up bags and clothes, after a complain the staff kindly offered us to move to another room without extra charge, which we apreciated and from then it was alright even if the furnitures of poor quality could be better. but the location is great and the breakfast ok.

Staff were very helpful. Room was clean and bed very comfy. I enjoyed the social (but not too loud) atmosphere of the common area. Location was fantastic.

Very central location - only downside is that rooms around the central ventilation shaft hear all the cover stations in the other rooms. The earplugs provided are very welcome. The breakfast (extra) is substantial. Would chose boiled egg and not scrambled to accompany another time!

It was a four nights stay, the first room we had was awful (impossible to move for two people in this tiny room (would be alright for a single) nothing to hang or tide up bags and clothes, after a complain the staff kindly offered us to move to another room without extra charge, which we apreciated and from then it was alright even if the furnitures of poor quality could be better. but the location is great and the breakfast ok.

It was one of the cleanest Hostels, I have been in. I did have a problem twice, with the bathrooms being out of toilet paper. Don't get there to late, the front desk guy, wants to go to his home, to make you feel at home, or let you know much about the property. Toilet seat was broken. Bring your own towel first rule of this hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy! The young girl staff were friendly and helpful! Good place to sleep.
