Excellent location, bright and clean rooms. Great value!

Location is amazing but the room was in fairly rough shape and very small. Bed comfy. Stairs were expected but ya... be prepared for really steep stairs, likely hard with a big bag. Photos to help show how steep

Huge room very sunny great location i would ask for tv to be checked batteries for safe and no hot water 2pm 2nd day new batteries 4 safe then new batteries for tv no volume one pool station tv dont work lots of up and down stairs i needed the exercise lol it is the biggest room and bed in all of Amsterdam lol

Not a big fan. I guess you should know before you go and do your research. This is one step above a hostel. Shared shower, shared toilet, no AC and No elevator. If you book through hotels.com you will have to go across the street and plead with the partner hotel to help you out which they very nicely will try, but complain that you should have gotten the email. You will then get the email and be forced to fill in all of your information, pay through another link for city tax, then finally you might get a door code for the hotel across the street. You go in and lug your bags up 6 flights/3 floors of vertical steps. With your luggage this is on par with rock climbing. Once you get up there you will find a room white washed with paint and no AC in the summer. A shared shower and toilet that is often full of a drunk guy. If you are traveling on a budget (Ha! Amsterdam Budget) it might be up your alley, but the next 2 weeks of back and neck pain from the experience are not.
