Bharat and Ann are lovely hosts and they were super responsive ahead of the trip. The property itself offers stunning views and is super neat and well decorated. The room was spacious and tidy. Parking available on site for a car.

Bharat and Ann are welcoming and attentive hosts. The property was very clean and well-decorated, with excellent views over the countryside from the guest lounge. It was about a 20 minute walk into town - though a steep hill coming back. I would definitely recommend.

Clean and tidy bedroom with comfortable bed, clean bathroom. The house is an interesting upside-down house, with bedrooms downstairs. We were welcomed by the friendly and courteous host, who showed us around, including a fantastic lounge upstairs and a large balcony with wonderful views of the hills in the distance. It was very quiet. Breakfast was filling and well-cooked. Would stay again without hesitation.

This is a beautiful "upside down" house high on a hill with fantastic views. It is a mile or so from town & easily walkable if you don't mind the steep uphill on the return. The bedrooms are on the ground floor & are very well equipped & comfortable. The breakfast, prepared by the property owner, Bharat, was delicious & our stay overall was very good value.

We had a one night stay at Torlands and wish we could have stayed longer! The host met us on arrival for check in and showed us to our room. Everything was explained to us and we felt very welcome straight away. The room was very spacious and clean with very modern touches. The bathroom was excellent and also very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast the next morning with a fantastic selection of hot and cold items. We very much look forward to our next stay here.

Bharat and Anne are very welcoming. They keep Torlands in tip-top condition. It is immaculately clean, and they will tidy your room for you during your stay if you wish. The breakfast is lovely, and there are lots of little things that make you feel welcome or are thoughtful, such as snacks on the tea tray and a torch by the bed. The only downside for me was that the mattress was a little too soft for my back, but others may prefer this, so I would recommend the place.

Would recommend if you are looking for somewhere in the area. Short drive (could walk it if sufficient time) into Monmouth. Would also recommend eating at Estero Lounge in Monmouth. Have fun.

Extremely polite Gentleman answered the door and showed me to my room explaining the layout of the property and also asked what time I wanted breakfast. A very spacious en suite room with an enormous bed and TV. A lovely breakfast next morning very tasty Definitely recommend this place

A lovely place to stay and would not think twice about returning. The views from the property are outstanding. Just a short drive to Monmouth High Street with plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from. Hosts are more than welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was perfect - variety of cereals, fruit, juice and tea/coffee to choose from and the full English was cooked to perfection. You won't be disappointed if you stay

It is a truly splendid B&B with a beautiful view from the living room and a very comfortable room where we stayed. Our room featured a double bed, and the owner thoughtfully provided an air mattress for our 4-year-old son, which we greatly appreciated. Additionally, although the owner was returning from London on the day of our arrival, he kept us updated and was extremely responsive.
It is a truly splendid B&B with a beautiful view from the living room and a very comfortable room where we stayed. Our room featured a double bed, and the owner thoughtfully provided an air mattress for our 4-year-old son, which we greatly appreciated. Additionally, although the owner was returning from London on the day of our arrival, he kept us updated and was extremely responsive.

Excellent short stopover in Monmouth. Nice sized double room with very good shower over bath. Welcoming host who provide fresh milk when requested for a relaxing hot drink on a bitterly cold afternoon. Extra bedding blanket & small fan heater available if required. Relaxed breakfast at 9am. Excellent choice of cereals & yogurts etc with very good cooked breakfast as ordered. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Bharat I am sure we will return. Kevin & Liz.

Everything was excellent at this property outstanding accommodation with a great hosts. Location was also outstanding with fantastic views across the countryside Location was just one mile from the centre of Monmouth so easy to drive into town or take a taxi at a very reanable price

Bharat and Ann are welcoming and attentive hosts. The property was very clean and well-decorated, with excellent views over the countryside from the guest lounge. It was about a 20 minute walk into town - though a steep hill coming back. I would definitely recommend.

This is a beautiful "upside down" house high on a hill with fantastic views. It is a mile or so from town & easily walkable if you don't mind the steep uphill on the return. The bedrooms are on the ground floor & are very well equipped & comfortable. The breakfast, prepared by the property owner, Bharat, was delicious & our stay overall was very good value.

A lovely place to stay and would not think twice about returning. The views from the property are outstanding. Just a short drive to Monmouth High Street with plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from. Hosts are more than welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was perfect - variety of cereals, fruit, juice and tea/coffee to choose from and the full English was cooked to perfection. You won't be disappointed if you stay

We had a one night stay at Torlands and wish we could have stayed longer! The host met us on arrival for check in and showed us to our room. Everything was explained to us and we felt very welcome straight away. The room was very spacious and clean with very modern touches. The bathroom was excellent and also very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast the next morning with a fantastic selection of hot and cold items. We very much look forward to our next stay here.

Welcoming host who provide fresh milk when requested for a relaxing hot drink on a bitterly cold afternoon. Extra bedding blanket & small fan heater available if required. Relaxed breakfast at 9am. Excellent choice of cereals & yogurts etc with very good cooked breakfast as ordered. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Bharat I am sure we will return. Kevin & Liz.

Lovely accommodation, very clean and safe. Lovely views from the property especially the guest lounge upstairs. Bharat and Ann looked after us very well including Vegan option for breakfast. Would recommend if you are looking for somewhere in the area. Short drive (could walk it if sufficient time) into Monmouth. Would also recommend eating at Estero Lounge in Monmouth. Have fun.

What a beautiful gem of a B&B. The house is immaculate with stunning views on the balcony in the living area which guests are able to use. Bharat and Ann are extremely friendly and helpful hosts who made our stay even more special. The room was large and comfortable with all amenities. Our highlight was the delicious breakfast cooked by Bharat. We will definitely stay here again!

Genuinely superb. Beautiful house and room. Views from lounge are wonderful. Everything was clean, immaculate and of very high quality. Breakfast was above and beyond! Bharat and Anne are very friendly and helpful and great hosts too. I have never stayed in a better B&B (or possibly hotel as well!). Very highly recommended.
