Beautiful hotel No wardrobe in our room … 2 hooks with 2 coat hangers on each Drinks were very expensive . Two glasses of wine .,, £28 ! We loved our stay , and would return . The gardens were beautiful .

Very attractive smart hotel in large tidy gardens. Meeting friends locally so didn’t have dinner but breakfast was excellent. All staff helpful and efficient.

Beautiful property in beautiful grounds. Rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Home from home. The only downside was we came back around 9.40 in the evening to have a drink in the bar, to find it was shut. However this wouldn't put me off coming back for another stay.

Breakfast was good. Dinner .very small & rather expensive and the room was small.and a sqeeze to get into the bathroom. The central heating didnt work but we were suplied with two blown air heaters. Saff very friendly and accomodating.

Stayed for just one night from arriving to leaving everything was excellent the staff were very friendly and helpful the food was amazing our room was lovely toiletries in the bathroom really good quality dressing gown and slippers were in our room after breakfast we had a stroll around the grounds which was perfect before we got into the car we will definitely be returning and for more than one night next time .

A lovely stay - almost had place to ourselves in a quiet week. Special mention to Billy who looked after us- he worked incredibly hard, covered reception, bar, front of house, housekeeping and restaurant! Incredibly helpful and a real credit to the hotel. Breakfast service and quality also fabulous.

Everyone was so friendly and obliging, from the moment we booked in to the time we booked out, especially as my wife has severe mobility issues which meant special attention at meals and getting about. No problem at all. It made for a very relaxed and happy birthday stay.

Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations from arrival to departure next morning. The staff are all excellent in every way. Polite,helpful and very professional. The food was amazing. A lovely menu, served lovely and hot on hot plates. We couldn't have asked for more. We loved looking around the Hotel which has a fine array of books and prints. Thanks to all involved..we will be back

Cooked breakfast was limited ie egg wise. It could be more extensive by adding favourites such as Egg Benadict or Egg Royale. The Yorkshire breakfast was very tasty and satisfying. Other options were very adequate.
