I had no issues with the room or facility. However we were restricted to using the relatively slow elevator to move from floor to floor. I was only on the second floor, so I thought I'd just go down the stairs to leave, rather than waiting for the elevator. However I found that when I entered the stairwell, all the doors back into the hotel were locked from the inside, and the exit door at ground level was alarmed. Fortunately someone had propped the door to my floor open, so I was able to return to that easily enough in order to take the elevator, otherwise I would have been trapped in the stairwell (unless I wanted to set the alarm off).

For what we had to do in Whitehorse this place was great. The building was Klondike looking and it was close to all the stores in town. Very convienient with a laundromat attached as well!

Had to ask to replenish coffee and used towels each day. Rooms were clean but everyone used the elevator to smoke in. Comfy beds though and plenty of pillows.

The location is a little questionable. Hotel sign is by the door to the laundromat. Which isn't where you go in to register. Should have plainer signage for entrance. Having registration behind safety glass, doesn't give you a warm safe inviting feeling. But with nothing else available(and we looked) we stayed. The room was extremely small. Stained carpet, paper garbage left by desk. Only 1 glass for drinking. No cups orovided for coffee maker. Linnens wete clean but the bed had a huge bump in the middle. ?? Not sure what that was.. we parked in the street as the parking lot was full and tight with customers from laundromat, message parlor, babber shop and another business.

Check in was invasive. photocopies taken of our personal ID and a $200 damage fee was charged to be refunded at check out. A list of 30 rules of conduct was posted and a list of room contents with prices for missing items in the room. No AC which is dangerous for some seniors. laundromat chugging away next door and the entire place smells like an old deep fry food truck. there is no welcome or comfort here but it was the last room available in the city.

Super convenient location to get laundry done, get groceries, enjoy the cinema, check out cute shops, enjoy a walk in beautiful parks and more. The property itself is pretty dingy and has seen better days. Old, grungy linens, hair stuck to shower wall and a really gross shower curtain. Broken lamps with liquid-stained lamp shades. Check-in and check-out was easy. Staff were polite enough.

I didn’t need anything fancy, as I was just staying for one night during travel. The floors were dirty and my socks turned black. The towels and shower mat had brown stains. There was no middle sheet on the bed and I wasn’t sure how clean the top layers of the bedding were. I waited 15 minutes at the front desk for help even though I rang the bell twice. There was somebody there, but they continued to do other work in the back room as I waited. Finally got help as another employee walked by. However, they are pet-friendly and conveniently located near many great restaurants that are walking distance.

The room had a very dirty smell. We had to keep the portable air conditioner running full time in order to not breathe in the smell. Clumps of hair on the floor! The sheets had hair on them and the look of them was so bad that I actually went to the store and purchased our own bed in a bag so that we could sleep there!! I get that you “get what you pay for” but there is no reason for dirt!!! Clean up your hotel people!!!!

I was put in a room in the basement that was hot as Hades, the window was in a prison like cage, the TV didn't work, the bed was just a mattress pad over springs, I think the curtains had blood stains on them, and there was no plug for the tub. The lobby bathroom was disgusting. I was told that they usually don't rent the rooms in the basement but we're full so I guess they decided to milk every last dime they could?

This hotel is not in the best of condition. When I first entered the building, it seemed old and outdated but once you go to the rooms, there is stains on the roof tiles, and most are misaligned. The room was very small and was outdated as well but the thing that caught my attention the most was the stained toilet. If I had a toilet in that condition, I would have replaced it or at least repainted it so it didn’t look so dirty. The staff was great and if you are only there to sleep, it’s fine. It’s on top of a laundromat and it is very noisy. Couldn’t hear much on the 3rd floor so if you go to bed early, make sure to get the 3rd level. With all this being said, this isn’t the worst one I have been to but I will be trying another the time time I go to Whitehorse.

The front desk lady didn’t speak English very well and very hard to understand. The bed was 2 twin beds strapped together but there was no strap holding it together so when I rolled over in the middle of the night I fell between the beds

This would be good for people driving through needing a bed for the night. Not good if you are staying a few days. Expedia rates this a 3 star but it is not! Two at the most. You can hear everyone showering or flushing the toilet. Doors slam. Micro wave didn’t work. No AC. I won’t stay here again.

The front desk guy was awesome. Checked us in quickly, efficently and a great deal of humour. He is a very hard working young man. We saw him all over the hotel and laundromat, fixing issues, solving problems, and always dealing with guests and clients with respect and humour. Well done!!

Reception took 20 minutes, but i had booked through expedia, gave us a room that had not been cleaned that day...another 15 minutes before they can find us a room, it is dirty, noisy as hell....i will never book here again and will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had an unfortunate experience with the front desk during my stay. Upon checking out, I was told that the security hold on my credit card would be released within 9 days. However, the charge remained on my card well past that time. When I reached out to the front desk for assistance, they insisted that the hold had already been cleared, but refused to offer any help in resolving the issue. To make matters worse, the staff blamed me for not understanding the situation and hung up on me twice. This lack of professionalism and poor customer service left me extremely frustrated. Additionally, at check-in, they failed to provide the same type of room that I had booked. I had requested a room with two beds, but they only had a room with one bed available. As a result, my friend had to sleep on a sofa bed, which was uncomfortable. This was a huge inconvenience and added to the overall disappointing experience.

Front staff is amazing. Rooms are quite clean and comfortable. I had housing issues and needed to stay for longer than I had intended but they were very accommodating and pleasant to work with. There are other hotels in the area that only see $$$ signs not the person. Here, they see the person.

The staff really cares about making sure you have a positive experience. I received free snacks when I checked in and the owner or manager (I'm not sure) was overseeing breakfast and went out of his way to make sure I had everything I wanted. Incredible service and very friendly. Next time I stay in Whitehorse, I will be coming back to this hotel.

Super convenient location to get laundry done, get groceries, enjoy the cinema, check out cute shops, enjoy a walk in beautiful parks and more. The property itself is pretty dingy and has seen better days. Old, grungy linens, hair stuck to shower wall and a really gross shower curtain. Broken lamps with liquid-stained lamp shades. Check-in and check-out was easy. Staff were polite enough.

Homeless community living right behind the property. They’re in and out of the parking lot consistently, they’re very rowdy and unkind and give the place an unsettling feeling. When confronting the owners it seems they know about them living here and told us that the homeless are “not supposed to bother customers”. Overall not a great experience.

For what we had to do in Whitehorse this place was great. The building was Klondike looking and it was close to all the stores in town. Very convienient with a laundromat attached as well!

The location is a little questionable. Hotel sign is by the door to the laundromat. Which isn't where you go in to register. Should have plainer signage for entrance. Having registration behind safety glass, doesn't give you a warm safe inviting feeling. But with nothing else available(and we looked) we stayed. The room was extremely small. Stained carpet, paper garbage left by desk. Only 1 glass for drinking. No cups orovided for coffee maker. Linnens wete clean but the bed had a huge bump in the middle. ?? Not sure what that was.. we parked in the street as the parking lot was full and tight with customers from laundromat, message parlor, babber shop and another business.

This property fit our needs on our trip through Whitehorse, Yukon and back again. It is a no frills hotel with what appears to be a very nice laundry room. (didn't use it). The breakfast while extra was very good, as was the service. The locations appears to be a run-down area but we felt safe enough walked around the corner to the restaurant..

We chose the property because it advertised a free continental breakfast. NOT! when I asked at the desk where the breakfast was I was told it was discontinued over a year ago. Housekeeping never entered our room in the four days we were there. It seemed to be a big deal to get fresh towels, coffee pods, coffee cups, etc. There was no tissue (Kleenex) in the room/bathroom. We went to a local store and bought soap and tissue to use in the room. If what we experienced was the best they can offer, I'm surprised they are still in business. My two star rating was probably generous.

It's got the typical Yukon exterior, nothing fancy, but certainly not bad. So it could use a little more curb appeal. That not top on my list, but cleanliness and service is what I go for. They had an extra table in the room that made things tight, but the room was clean and the staff will go out of their way to make sure you have it right. To top it off, They have a fantastic breakfast. Hot and served right to you! If I pass this way again, I'll be making this one of my stops! Thanks Folks!

Very old budget hotel, sheets and towels had stains, shower curtain covered in black mildew stains, kitchenette in the suite had very very limited supplies and no cutlery, dish soap, or sponge to clean anything. Thankfully the worker gave us a cup of dish soap from her own personal supply. The staff was very friendly! FYI there is no breakfast provided here as advertised.

This hotel has potential but is not quite there yet. There are many things you could do to make this a nicer place. Clean up the check in area. It seems messy and disorganized. Our room was clean but the bathroom door did not close. There was no hair dryer. My husband took a shower and the towel he took off of the rack had a brown stain in the middle, most likely an old stain but whoever folds the towels after washing should have seen it and thrown it out. There was only one coffee pod provided with the coffee maker. When you are renting out a room for two, at least provide them each with a coffee! Loose tea bags are not a good idea. They absorb moisture and smells from the room. The building it is in as well as the immediate neighbourhood is not very nice. On the pro side, the two staff members that I dealt with were very friendly and the breakfast (for a fee) was very good!

Just don’t plan to hang out in the parking lot too much. About a 20 minute walk to downtown through industrial areas. Overall, if you only want a hotel for sleeping, it does the trick.
