This place was ok for a one-night stay, but felt pretty cheap for a hotel that actually wasn’t that cheap. We got a room with a private bathroom and ate at their restaurant area since they have no shared kitchen space. The food wasn't good at all, but the staff was extremely friendly and let many people order food even though the kitchen was supposed to close. We decided not to stick around for breakfast since the dinner food was so mediocre, so I couldn’t comment on if it's worth the extra price.

Got a nice little cottage. The place is pretty remote on a dirt road. Which was part of the appeal of it. Ate dinner there (food was ok). Service was great. Everyone I encountered there seemed really focused on service. The cottage itself was fairly basic. No TV but had wifi. The shower was awkwardly in the bathroom.

Etwas angelegen, aber wunderbar ruhig in einer natürlichen Umgebung. Es ist ideal zum Erholen. Die Einrichtung ist sehr umfangreich, es ist alles vorhanden, was man zur Selbstversorgung benötigt. Insofern würden wir auf das angebotene Frühstück verzichten. Ein gemütliches Haus, was zu einem längeren Aufenthalt einlädt.

Hôtel au calme, dans la nature. Belle chambre avec vue sur la forêt. Douche pas tres pratique. Manque de rangements. Insonorisation mauvaise, on entend trop les bruits à travers la porte. Heureusement que c’etait plutot calme. Personnel tres accueillant. Pas de tele. Cafe et the gratuit mais dans la salle de restaurant. Service rapide au restaurant, plats bons. Hotel un peu éloigné d’Egilsstadir et accessible via une route en gravier.

This was great cottage overall but I did not like the bathroom in which you had to shower above the sink. No proper drainage and the cottage could use more cleaning. Other than that I was there for just one night and nothing much to point out. I would make the bathroom better to gain more stars

Non posso dire di avere avuto un'esperienza positiva. La signora che gestisce è molto gentile ma l'albergo è mto vecchio stile e la camera che ci hanno dato era all'interno di un container riadattato, con una notevole puzza di scarico. Esperienza deludente.

La struttura e la camera erano okay, curati e puliti. Nella stanza però non c era buon odore. Nonostante il personale sia stato cortese a farci cenare anche dopo l orario di chiusura cucina (10 min dopo), la mattina dopo ci hanno richiesto nuovamente di saldare il pasto seppur noi avessimo già pagato. Quindi abbiamo dovuto cercare gli scontrini per mostrare il pagamento

Hôtel un peu éloigné de la route principale. Il faut faire plusieurs kilomètres sur une piste en gravier pour y accéder. Ça ne pose pas de problème si vous avez le bon véhicule, et un voiture classique passe aussi. Chambre très petite et peu confortable. Une seule bouilloire en équipement dans la chambre. Salle de bain peu confortable avec eau chaude limitée et surtout qui ne fonctionne pas correctement. Il faut comprendre qu’il faut ouvrir le robinet du lavabo pour avoir de l’eau chaude de la douche. C’est indiqué nulle part, ce n’est pas logique, d’autant plus que l’eau chaude est limitée à 50 L par chambre et que ça gaspille l’eau… Petite terrasse devant la chambre sans chaise ni table, dommage.

We stayed in one of the cabins and there was plenty of room for the 3 of us. Comfortable accommodations. The area is beautiful and quiet. Staff were helpful and breakfast was great. We only stayed 1 night on our trip around the ring road but we would have been comfortable staying here much longer.

This place was ok for a one-night stay, but felt pretty cheap for a hotel that actually wasn’t that cheap. We got a room with a private bathroom and ate at their restaurant area since they have no shared kitchen space. The food wasn't good at all, but the staff was extremely friendly and let many people order food even though the kitchen was supposed to close. We decided not to stick around for breakfast since the dinner food was so mediocre, so I couldn’t comment on if it's worth the extra price.

Got a nice little cottage. The place is pretty remote on a dirt road. Which was part of the appeal of it. Ate dinner there (food was ok). Service was great. Everyone I encountered there seemed really focused on service. The cottage itself was fairly basic. No TV but had wifi. The shower was awkwardly in the bathroom.

We stayed in one of the cabins and there was plenty of room for the 3 of us. Comfortable accommodations. The area is beautiful and quiet. Staff were helpful and breakfast was great. We only stayed 1 night on our trip around the ring road but we would have been comfortable staying here much longer.

Etwas angelegen, aber wunderbar ruhig in einer natürlichen Umgebung. Es ist ideal zum Erholen. Die Einrichtung ist sehr umfangreich, es ist alles vorhanden, was man zur Selbstversorgung benötigt.
