I really love this hotel. Madrid was the bookend city to our trip, so we stayed here twice. The first experience was amazing. We loved it. Had a great time. Our luggage was lost and the hotel held it for us until we got back the last day of our trip. That being said, the hotel booked a holiday party on our last day and booked out the entire main space. All amenities were closed to patrons of the hotel. Restaurant, hotel bar, etc. We were exhausted from our trip and just wanted to relax, and instead we had to wander out to find food, etc. I think it would have been smart of the hotel management to keep a space or two open to the hotel patrons as we were also paying to stay at the hotel. When I asked for drink service to be brought to the room, since we couldn't use the facilities, I was met with resistance. If you are going to cut off patrons, you need to find a way to accommodate them. That being said, the hotel is gorgeous, our rooms were gorgeous, the staff is very helpful and polite. I would stay here again.

I love Only You, and I will stay there every time I go to Madrid. The Hotel is very beautiful with well decorated and intimate spaces. We were surprised to see the access to the main room blocked for private events. That limited our experience, as we usually gather there to have coffee or drinks with friends. Guests should be advised ahead of their stay if the common areas will be closed or a room credit should be given. We pay for the Only You experience as a whole not just a place to sleep.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable but the pillows weren’t our favorite. The bathroom door is like a slatted closet door, so privacy in there is non-existent. The breakfast was fantastic! We had spa services, which were amazing. There are many food options available nearby, including markets. Note that the front desk is a bit hard to locate when you arrive— it’s in the middle of several sitting rooms and dining areas.

Esta propiedad en toda mi estancia tuvo eventos privados en sus restaurantes y bares Le dan preferencia a la gente externa y no a los huéspedes. Ni un solo día pudimos tomar una comida en ese hotel todas las áreas cerradas y decían que estaba rentado para un evento privado El hotel lo cierran a partir de las 3 am y tienes que estar esperando a que te abran El cuarto muy bueno peor no es posible que un huésped no tenga ni donde poder desayunar o comprar una botella de agua y tenga que salir del hotel para esto

We loved this hotel. Beautiful, comfortable and lovely Bar, Restaurant and breakfast. Fun music at the bar. Lovely living room too. The staff was great. They have a nice welcome drink which is always a nice gesture.

Staff were excellent- helped get us tickets to one of the highlights of our trip - to watch a flamenco show. The decor of the property was beautiful, the Thai Room experience was superb and cocktail bar served most delicious espresso martinis! So a wonderful experience!

Super helpful and friendly staff. Room was spotless. Bed was very comfortable and the blackout curtains worked perfectly, we slept soundly. Room was soundproof, we heard nothing from a joining rooms or from the courtyard/breakfast area even though our room overlooked it. I'm picky about hotel showers and this one gets my approval. Hotel is situated in a great area for walking, tons of restaurants and shops. We would happily stay here again if we return to Madrid.

The room was not made up one day, despite our request to front desk. We told the front desk the next day-apologetic. Soap dispensers went unfilled-day after day. Robe, which was used during the stay, had a wuarter sized hole. This was never replaced or washed in 5 days.

The good: Attractive boutique hotel in nice neighborhood with many cute restaurants nearby. Hotel excels in public spaces. Well done decor. Rooms quiet. Staff friendly. The not so good:Hotel rooms lack in some areas. Vanity sink area in bathroom is miniscule. Hard to negotiate. No usb outlets so charging multiple devices is a challenge. Hotel cleaning needs more attention. Didnt replace used wash towels nor used glasses. Room service trays remained in hallways overnight and into late afternoon of next day. Overall a boutique hotel missing some of the attention to detail you’d expect for the Price point.

The hotel is wonderful. A very prety building with a lot of nice places. Bar. Coffe Shop. Restaurant. Very good breakfast. You can walk or take a taxi to go around very easy. The only bad thing is that housekeeping doesnt speak Spanish or English and they clean the room at 2 o 3 oclock.

Stayed for 6 nights. Location of the hotel is excellent if you want to stay in the center of Madrid. We walked to most of our tourist destinations such as, Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace. Gran via is next door, 5-10 minute walk along Calle del Barquillo. A street, although close to Gran via, it is a bit different, gives you many options to sit down with Madrid people, enjoy some superb olives and a nice beverage for example, there are also awesome dinner options. 2 supermarkets are also located within 25-50meters from the hotel, open until 24.00. The hotel, stayed on the second floor, window facing inside courtyard. Quiet, clean, spacious enough. TV on the "big" side of things, plenty of channels, many Spanish channels, news (CNN, BBC, French, German). Some series movies with English such as, Paramount Network, DMAX, etc. TV review is based on some hours before sleep though, tv aficionados might want to get a second opinion. Oh yes, almost forgot, Wifi worked flawlessly. Logged in on the first day, never gave it a second thought. Whole experience was excellent, we arrived and was checked in to our room within 10-15 minutes. Reception always had an abundance of staff. Every time we needed something from the reception, a staff member helped us immediately. Did not spend 1 minute in a queue in the reception area. Done some travel, and that is rare.

Hotel is in a very good location. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. Issues with the property include - no where to layout your suitcases. No USB ports to plug in your electronics. If you want to get a cup of coffee early in the morning, you have to go to the staff and it is a process. There is instant coffee in the room, but not sure why they don't make good coffee available for guests in the early morning near the front desk etc.

This property is beautiful and unique; every public space is gorgeous and well laid out. The breakfast rooms are particularly lovely and the elevators and lobby areas are also very unique and memorable. Breakfast buffet is excellent, very impressive assortment for all eating types. Great location for dining and shopping around Chueca and Salamamca. Rooms are nicely appointed, I particularly love the fresh flowers in the room,which is a very nice touch, shower products, bathroom amenities like a straightening iron were excellent and room decor were nicely done. Good soundproofing also. However, the beds and bedding are horrible. The bed is like sleeping on a brick and the pillows don’t even qualify to be called a pillow, they are like hard little flat pucks and the duvet is thin and not inviting at all. Horrendous considering the point of being there is to have somewhere nice to sleep. Sadly I would not return to the property because of the bedding. If this was improved I would definitely return.

What a wonderful hotel. From the moment the automatic doors open the hotel exudes class. All the staff are helpful, friendly and professional. The rooms a big and very well appointed. Beds are comfortable. Wifi is super fast. The location of the hotel is great too for both business and tourism. This will be my hotel of choice when I visit Madrid.

We adored this hotel! It’s breathtakingly beautiful, the staff were all so lovely and accommodating, the food was amazing, and there were a ton of thoughtful touches that made you feel right at home throughout the hotel. Cannot recommend this spot enough. Definitely a must for Madrid!

This hotel is a hidden gem. We stumbled upon it on hotels.com and it is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The place has a great vibe, beautiful, rooms were immaculate. We stayed for a week, and were treated with special notes a small gifts along the way. Staff was incredible.

The hotel is stunning - everywhere you look there is something pretty to look at. The service was impeccable. Very cool vibe hotel located within 15 minutes walk of many museums & high end shopping. There are 2 Mercado’s (Grocery Markets) directly across the street in case you want to load up on water, coke, fresh orange juice, vegetables etc etc Our breakfasts were included, and I’d suggest that you order off of the menu versus using the buffer. There is no extra charge to do this and you can get eggs Benedict, omlettes etc. Christina at the Front desk took care of all of our needs.

Only YOU was incredible. We arrived at 9am and our room wasn’t ready so they gave us a room to shower and rest in until our room was ready. When it finally was ready, it was well worth the wait! The terrace was adorable and the room was beyond comfortable. The staff was amazing. The bellman was friendly and resourceful. The front desk was quick and helpful. The property was perfectly located. We walked everywhere and it was such an easy walk! Highly recommend this property when in Madrid!

We had a fabulous time while staying at Only you in Madrid. The staff was terrific and went above and beyond for all the guests. We were there during the blackout and it was impressive to see how professional and attentive everyone was during this crazy unprecedented time. Huge shout out to Daniel at El Padrino bar, he was fantastic!!! Next time we visit beautiful Madrid Only you will be our first choice.

Stayed for 6 nights. Location of the hotel is excellent if you want to stay in the center of Madrid. We walked to most of our tourist destinations such as, Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace. Gran via is next door, 5-10 minute walk along Calle del Barquillo. A street, although close to Gran via, it is a bit different, gives you many options to sit down with Madrid people, enjoy some superb olives and a nice beverage for example, there are also awesome dinner options. 2 supermarkets are also located within 25-50meters from the hotel, open until 24.00. The hotel, stayed on the second floor, window facing inside courtyard. Quiet, clean, spacious enough. TV on the "big" side of things, plenty of channels, many Spanish channels, news (CNN, BBC, French, German). Some series movies with English such as, Paramount Network, DMAX, etc. TV review is based on some hours before sleep though, tv aficionados might want to get a second opinion. Oh yes, almost forgot, Wifi worked flawlessly. Logged in on the first day, never gave it a second thought. Whole experience was excellent, we arrived and was checked in to our room within 10-15 minutes. Reception always had an abundance of staff. Every time we needed something from the reception, a staff member helped us immediately. Did not spend 1 minute in a queue in the reception area. Done some travel, and that is rare.

This is a lovely hotel situated in a great location for the metro and to walk to shops in Gran Vía. Just over 10 minutes walk to the Thyssen Bornemisza museum. The breakfast buffet is superb with many options available and in a gorgeous patio area. I would highly recommend this hotel for short stays.

Lovely helpful charming staff. Very chic hotel both rooms and public areas. Very generous 30% discount in the main restaurant but sadly the food was especially poor and lets the hotel down badly. The food looks chic to match the surroundings but in all three courses did not match the description on the menu. The dessert was inedible. For example it was described as having ‘coconut mousse’ which was in fact aerosol cream squirted on the plate with toasted coconut sprinkled on top. The turbot was beautifully cooked actually but the sauce was tasteless gunge. It was described as coming with parsnip parmentier. It was a puree. I checked with the waiter who said ‘yes, that’s the parmentier, it is puree’. It isn’t. I had a nice glass of Cava to start with. A standard measure. I knocked it over and they kindly replaced it with a massive measure. I then ordered a glass of wine which was served by a different waitress and I thought she had poured it ready for me to taste. But no, it was a minute measure and she walked away. The staff were all nice but clearly not managed well on something as basic as wine measures. Likewise presumably the kitchen staff are not trained. There were other errors with the food, not personal taste, basic errors. Like I said, a shame, the hotel itself and rooms and location are excellent and receive my five stars.

The tortilla was obviously half- cooked, as the server asked me whether I wanted a different one, and she brought out a warm, done one. The shower floor was one large piece of tile, potentially very slippery when wet, with no handrail. The bed although comfortable had no mattress pad, which I consider a necessity. The staff were cordial and helpful in every way possible and redeemed the stay for me
