We had a great stay - one night pre early flight- sad not to be able to stay longer and enjoy the facilities. The restaurant was good, the breakfast was expansive and there were lots of toys for our toddler to play with in the reception. We also really liked the pond style pool! V refreshing dip.

Everything about this hotel is to be recommended. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable. We had an excellent sleep after a long flight. The shuttle bus from the airport was easy to find and runs until the last KLM flight arrives. The hotel also runs a shuttle every 30 mins to the V&A Waterfront, costing 150ZAR. All the saff were very friendly and helpful. There was a wide choice of hot and cold food for breakfast.

I had an alright stay here. The hotel's best quality was its convenience. There was a free airport shuttle that left every 15 minutes. The drivers were friendly and efficient. Once I got to the hotel, I was a little underwhelmed. The hotel was average at best. Once I opened the door to my room, I saw a small cockroach scurry across the floor and go under the bed. The room was not worth the price I paid. If this hotel had been half the price, I wouldn't have bothered leaving a review.

Convenientemente localizado para quem precisa fazer conexão na Cidade do Cabo. Oferece o shuttle ao aeroporto que funciona super bem. E o apto tem um tamanho muito bom. Porém, vi baratas na acomodação e no restaurante, o que me deixou questionando bastante a limpeza do local.

We enjoyed our second "overnight" stay very much. We were upgraded to a suite which was spotlessly clean and spacious, as was our standard room previously. The staff are courteous, very helpful and polite. The breakfast is extremely good too. The free shuttle service offered runs like clockwork! They even found an item in lost property I had left behind after our first visit. I would highly recomme d tbis hotel.

Did not see the property around the hotel was only there one night and it was raining! The breakfast bar was loose and fell down, and the toilet would not flush properly but otherwise the room was great!

Great location for the airport, within walking distance of car rental and excellent shuttle to/from airport with helpful and friendly driver. Good ambience and courteous staff, love the garden area at the rear of the hotel. Food tasty with good choice. Room well equipped with comfortable bed and complimentary milk and water in fridge. Only negative was the floor of room which was dirty and had not been washed for sometime - we both ended up with dirty socks and feet.

Free airport shuttle from 4am and breakfast from 4am too which was impressive before an early morning flight. Pillows were a bit floppy for my liking but everything else was great Footnote: if you are sharing a room with a friend or colleague be aware the shower is a 3 sided cubicle in your room.😉 with no curtain on the 4th side!

Perfectly placed for the airport. We had an early flight the breakfast starts at 4:00am, the shuttle bus starts at 5:00am and runs every 30 minutes ‘til midnight. The place was new and clean, the WiFi and tv worked well. We’ll definitely stay there again if we fly from Cape Town.

Loved our stay despite the air conditioning not cooling the room (tried 2 rooms and gave up).. temp remained at 23C which was too warm for sleeping. Staff was kind enough to provide a fan which helped immensely to sleep. Staff were exceptional, great breakfast and lunch. Hotel was very clean and modern ... very refreshing. Swimming pool is not like traditional swimming pools, but resembled a small pond with vegetation in the water and edges, and 4 lounge chairs. Unique but not for us. Luggage storage was a great service too! Still enjoyed our stay and airport shuttle was great too!

Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly. My only complaint is you can every sound in the hallway. There was someone talking in the hallway for a good 15 minutes and I heard every word he was saying. It woke me up and I was very unhappy.

Das Zimmer war makellos, das Frühstück ab 4 Uhr morgens sehr gut. Zuverlässiger Shuttle zum Flughafen. Einziger Kritikpunkt: wir hatten am Abend an der Bar ein Bier getrunken. Der Kellner hat uns ohne jegliche Begrüssung und ohne uns anzuschauen die Getränkekarte hingeworfen. Wir konnten auch beobachten, dass andere potenzielle Gäste die Bar ohne etwas zu bestellen verliessen, weil sie schlichtwegs nicht bedient wurden. Dieses unprofessionelle Verhalten hat uns sehr irritiert.

We didn’t know there was an airport shuttle but after seeing us walking the shuttle staff stopped to ask if we were staying at Verde and helped us into the van with luggage. Very friendly staff throughout the stay and a great breakfast with a lot of choice! I would highly recommend staying to others

Check in was a disaster. I checked “pay at hotel” on Hotels.com. Many days before arrival, they sent me an email requiring prepayment. I went ahead and paid. When I arrived, they had no record of my payment. I had to go through the trouble of proving payment to them. How can Hotels.com allow a hotel to require prepayment when “Pay at Hotel” has been selected. After a 16 hour flight, this was a real annoyance. It must not be allowed.

I have to change a previous review with what has occured on my AMEX credit card account. When I checked in I used my American Express card and their credit card machine said it was 'rejected'. So I used another card to check in and the full amount for my stay was charged. 30 minutes later I received a text from AMEX saying the original charge went through which the desk said was denied. I went back to the front desk and they said the had discovered the mistake and the manager was going to issue a credit to my AMEX card. 2 days after I checked out of the hotel, the AMEX charge re-appeared, which meant I paid for 3 nights not the 2 I paid for on my other credit card. I emailed the property 2 times over the last 4 days and I've heard nothing back. So, I had to go through all of the procedures with AMEX to have the charge reversed which took almost an hour to collect and transmit the information. AMEX has cleared the charge on my account now. So, keep copies of everything at this hotel. It's too bad they're ignoring me because the hotel was really a nice place to stay close to the airport. Whether this was fraud or a mistake, be careful...

The staff truly went above and beyond for us. We arrived just before midnight, exhausted from our travels, and they greeted us with warm smiles and great service. They quickly guided us through check-in, empathetic to our fatigue, and took the time to show us to our room so we could rest. A few hours later, at 4:30 am, we were pleasantly surprised by a delicious breakfast that gave us the energy we needed for our next flight. The venue and amenities were wonderful, but it was the incredible staff who made our experience truly memorable. Their kindness and understanding made all the difference during our stay.

First night resturant waitress was terrific. Next night the new waitress was inattentive and not responsive. Had to wait over an hour to get our check after 4 requests. The check was not correct for three couples and had to be sent back.

This was such a convenient hotel! Unfortunately, it's in the middle of what seems to be an industrial area near the airport parking lots. HOWEVER, the hotel had a free shuttle which you could use to get back to the airport, OR you could pay a small fee for a shuttle to the downtown waterfront. That was a really nice surprise. I must say that the buffet breakfast is really outstanding! The bar/restaurant is also available.

Praktische shuttle-service voor een korte rit na een lange vlucht. Efficiënte en supervriendelijke ontvangst. Nette, goed uitgeruste kamer met uitstekend bed. Zeer goed ontbijt met ruime keuze. Er is ook een zeer redelijk geprijsde shuttle-service van het hotel naar het stadscentrum. Bij een late aankomst of vertrek in de ochtend in de luchthaven zouden we dit hotel zeker opnieuw boeken. Klein minpuntje: rondom het hotel valt niets te beleven.

We needed to stay near the airport for just 1 nite. Had no idea how TERRIFIC the property, decor, services and the staff would be. Shuttle to and from airport included, excellent breakfast buffet, including chef made omelettes as well. The room was sparkling clean and bed comfortable.

I stayed overnight on my way back from South Africa. Everything about the hotel is so much better than the alternatives. Proximity, staff, quality of the environment, upkeep, and most importantly the breakfast! Options and choice! Tasty and well presented! Definitely will use this hotel again rather than any other around the airport.

What a fantastic hotel for a night stay awaiting a delayed flight. The breakfast was outstanding. The most choices I’ve ever been offered including a juice bar. The service was amazing. I would definitely stay again.
