The hotel is an amazing example of using space wisely, however you can only access the hot tub with a spa session which is misleading considering it’s listed as an amenity on Hotels.com. There was also no staff at the front desk when we arrived so our illegally parked car was stressful while we waited 10 minutes for someone to check us in and let us know what the parking options were with the hotel. Room decor was very hip and the place had a great vibe.

Mooi hotel en goed onderhouden kamers. De spa voorzieningen hebben we niet gebruikt omdat deze zeer duur geprijsd zijn. Er was enkel een Nespresso-apparaat aanwezig op de kamer, een waterkoker en thee zou ook handig zijn aangezien niet iedereen koffie drinkt. Onze kamer lag aan de kant van het binnenterras/zwembad en we hadden één avond wel wat geluidsoverlast van mensen die buiten zaten. Het centrum ligt op ongeveer 15 minuten wandelen van het hotel, maar de weg ernaartoe is niet overal even veilig (voetpad stopt plots in het midden van een gevaarlijke rijbaan).

The Royal Snail is a great boutique hotel on the outskirts of town but very walkable. Free parking outside the property. Rooms were spacious and all staff were happy to help. Breakfast was good - only cold buffet on display however hot items could be made on request which was great as they were fresh! I really appreciated the omelette and bacon which was cooked for me! Restaurant was lovely with great food. It was busy with few staff however we never felt like we were neglected and they made sure we had everything we needed. Good selection of wines and specialist gin with many tonic options. The spa is quite pricey but beautiful, very small but a high standard - treatments need to be booked in advance as external staff cons to do these. The gym is small and functional (TV was missing from wall when we were there). The pool is really tiny - it’s a plunge pool more for decoration - would be great to have some big fish in it as not really a functional pool! The bedrooms are nice with the best mini bar I’ve had for years! Huge super king bed. Beware that some bedrooms have only a glass screen between the bedroom and bathroom with no privacy screen! Ours had a separate bathroom which was fine (6th floor). The TV really needs upgraded in the room - specified SMART TV but wasn’t - usually freebies channels only, no internet to cast devices or watch Netflix etc. I would highly recommend this hotel and definitely return!

What a find! Lovely, quirky place with enthusiastic staff. Some parking right there and big underground carpark with EV chargers not too far away. Right on the river with good access I to town. But we were too tired to leave the building for dinner, and that was great. Superb good choices and every tasted fantastic. Even if you weren't staying here, a great place for a quiet informal.meal.

Une pépite dans le namurois. Le personnel est à l’écoute à la moindre demande quelle qu’elle soit. Le bar propose des boissons bien variées, et des cocktails bien imaginés, adaptés à toute saison. Au niveau des chambres, j’apprécie la variété des ambiances toutes différentes ; ça paraît bête, mais accéder à un minibar, une machine à café, c’est fort appréciable. L’Hôtel est très bien tenu, propre, et propose également une salle de sport bien équipée. L’accès Wellness comprenant un jacuzzi et même sauna est également un joli petit bijou ! Voyage d’affaires, weekend en amoureux, vous ne serez pas déçus !

Hôtel de qualité très bien situé au pied de la citadelle et proche du casino. E n retrait du centre ville à 10' à pied, idéal pour visiter cette jolie ville de Namur Literie de qualité Bon petit déjeuner (pas eu le loisir de manger au restaurant) Seule fausse note: gestion du parking privé à revoir

Bei uns wurde das Beistellbett vergessen trotz Buchung. Wir sind fast sicher, dass das Zimmer überhaupt nicht gereinigt worden ist, da es Brotkrümel im Bett hatte und eine Medikament Tablette auf dem Boden lag. Auch die Kissen rochen irgendwie benutzt- konnten das nicht melden, da wir es spät abends bemerkt haben. Der Pool ist ein Witz- Fotograohie , keine Ahnung wie sie das hingekriegt haben, aber es ist mehr ein Aquarium 😂 keine 4Sterne….

The air conditioning- if there was any- was certainly not working. It was very hot and the room never cooled down. The first thing I check when I travel abroad is to be sure the facility has air conditioning. I feel it was false advertising to say this property had air conditioning. The room was musty.

Het is zeker geen 4 ster hotel, airco deed niet, zat paar insecten op mijn bed en een grote zware spin en spinnenweb natuurlijk, gewoon onder niveau Daarnaast waren witte vlekjes op de badkamer muur , gewoon vreselijk en vies voor de gevraagde prijs, 155€ per nacht . Had dit doorgegeven aan de receptionist bij het uitschenken maar die zei gewoon oh ik geef het door . In ieder mij zou je niet zo snel daar zien!

Je n'ai rien à dire par rapport à l'accueil des réceptionnistes, ça été très bien. Par contre au niveau de la propreté de la chambre c'est à revoir. J'ai signalé aux réceptionnistes mon mécontentement pour les raisons suivantes : qu'il y avait un cendrier avec pleins de mégots ( je suis non fumeur) qu'au niveau du miroir, il y avait une épaisseur de poussière, que le fond du WC n'est pas très propre ( du vinaigre/ javel pourrait le rendre plus propre et brillant) et qu'il y avait des traces au niveau de la vitre qui sépare la chambre et la salle de bain. Au niveau de l'espace et confort de la chambre c'est parfait. Pour une première, je suis déçu de cet établissement.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der teuersten Kategorie gebucht. Bei Ankunft bekamen wir ein- zugegebenermassen schönes -Zimmer im 6.Stock. Jedoch bemerkten wir sogleich ein lautes Brummen im Zimmer. Der Grund war der Generator der Klimaanlage, der sich genau über der Zimmerdecke am Dach befindet. Bezeichnenderweise liegen auf dem Zimmer zur ruhigen Gartenseite zwei Paar Ohropax bereit. Die Bitte um ein anderes Zimmer wurde abgelehnt.“Fully booked“. Wir verbrachten eine furchtbare Nacht wie im Bienenstock. Als wir am nächsten Morgen abreisen wollten zeigte sich das Hotel nicht kulant und berechnete uns die eigentlich gebuchte zweite Nacht voll, keinerlei Entschuldigung. Wir fühlten uns komplett verarscht und können dieses sogenannte Designerhotel keinesfalls weiterempfehlen.

Très bel hôtel, bien situé mais une maintenance plus approfondie devrait être faite (fenêtres). J'ai séjourné dans 2 chambres différentes, la 101 superbe chambre spacieuse au calme et une autre 403 plus petite coté avenue, l'insonorisation doit être revue, 9.5/10 pour la première et 5/10 pour la seconde ! Impossible de se garer et il ne restait plus qu'une seule place à 15€ dans le parking privé ...

The hotel is an amazing example of using space wisely, however you can only access the hot tub with a spa session which is misleading considering it’s listed as an amenity on Hotels.com. There was also no staff at the front desk when we arrived so our illegally parked car was stressful while we waited 10 minutes for someone to check us in and let us know what the parking options were with the hotel. Room decor was very hip and the place had a great vibe.

The Royal Snail is a great boutique hotel on the outskirts of town but very walkable. Free parking outside the property. Rooms were spacious and all staff were happy to help. Breakfast was good - only cold buffet on display however hot items could be made on request which was great as they were fresh! I really appreciated the omelette and bacon which was cooked for me! Restaurant was lovely with great food. It was busy with few staff however we never felt like we were neglected and they made sure we had everything we needed. Good selection of wines and specialist gin with many tonic options. The spa is quite pricey but beautiful, very small but a high standard - treatments need to be booked in advance as external staff cons to do these. The gym is small and functional (TV was missing from wall when we were there). The pool is really tiny - it’s a plunge pool more for decoration - would be great to have some big fish in it as not really a functional pool! The bedrooms are nice with the best mini bar I’ve had for years! Huge super king bed. Beware that some bedrooms have only a glass screen between the bedroom and bathroom with no privacy screen! Ours had a separate bathroom which was fine (6th floor). The TV really needs upgraded in the room - specified SMART TV but wasn’t - usually freebies channels only, no internet to cast devices or watch Netflix etc. I would highly recommend this hotel and definitely return!

A fun place to spend a few nights when visiting Namur. The air-conditioning was great in the hot July weather when I visited and my little balcony, which I was not expecting, was a treat. I often travel solo and take Expedia's recommendation of the suitable room for solo travellers. My room had a single bed which had a comfortable mattress but was a bit on the small side for a 6ft2 man!

Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der teuersten Kategorie gebucht. Bei Ankunft bekamen wir ein- zugegebenermassen schönes -Zimmer im 6.Stock. Jedoch bemerkten wir sogleich ein lautes Brummen im Zimmer. Der Grund war der Generator der Klimaanlage, der sich genau über der Zimmerdecke am Dach befindet. Bezeichnenderweise liegen auf dem Zimmer zur ruhigen Gartenseite zwei Paar Ohropax bereit. Die Bitte um ein anderes Zimmer wurde abgelehnt.“Fully booked“. Wir verbrachten eine furchtbare Nacht wie im Bienenstock. Als wir am nächsten Morgen abreisen wollten zeigte sich das Hotel nicht kulant und berechnete uns die eigentlich gebuchte zweite Nacht voll, keinerlei Entschuldigung. What a find! Lovely, quirky place with enthusiastic staff. Some parking right there and big underground carpark with EV chargers not too far away. Right on the river with good access I to town. But we were too tired to leave the building for dinner, and that was great. Superb good choices and every tasted fantastic. Even if you weren't staying here, a great place for a quiet informal.meal.

L’Hôtel est très bien tenu, propre, et propose également une salle de sport bien équipée. L’accès Wellness comprenant un jacuzzi et même sauna est également un joli petit bijou ! Voyage d’affaires, weekend en amoureux, vous ne serez pas déçus !

This is a very nice and cosy boutique hôtel close the city center, at the bottom of the famous Citadelle. Rooms are very comfortable (decoration style is bold… you like it or not) and the real cherry on the cake is an excellent and affordable restaurant on site. Staff is super friendly and helpful. It was not my first time there and it won’t be the last.

This is a very nice and cosy boutique hôtel close the city center, at the bottom of the famous Citadelle. Rooms are very comfortable (decoration style is bold… you like it or not) and the real cherry on the cake is an excellent and affordable restaurant on site. Staff is super friendly and helpful. It was not my first time there and it won’t be the last.

The photos led me to expect more. The room was not particularly nice, terrible decor. I thought the sauna and jacuzzi were included but it was €95 per hour! Free on street parking though.

Nice location on the river, and although the pool isn't a swimming pool - more of a plunge pool - it was nice to cool off in. We would have stayed there longer but left due to the number of smokers; unfortunately in a courtyard area like that it's hard to get away from other people's smoke! Our room was a little tired - could do with a paint to freshen it up - and we struggled to find enough sockets to charge our electrical items. Staff were very helpful and kindly let us use the garage to park our motorbikes in overnight. It's a 15-20 min walk to the area where all the main bars/restaurants are, but there's a lot going on in the town so it's worth the walk. Barman made a great mojito!
