Amazing stay, the host gave a very kind upgrade and I felt like it was a night staying with friends. It was pizza night and so fun with live music and socializing.

We loved our cabin at The Sandcastle. It was spacious and had a rustic old holiday camp feel about it. If you are expecting pristine modern accommodation, this is not the place for you. The setting is beautiful and only a 5-10 minute walk from one end of Pahora beach. Kitchen had all we needed to cook some meals in, although no oven, it had 2 hot plates and a microwave, toaster and kettle. Bathroom had no shampoo or soap so bring your own. The beds were comfy and towels are provided. On the Saturday evening, Steve the engaging owner got the neat outdoor pizza oven going and you just provide your own toppings, he does the dough and passata. It was a great way to chat to him and other guests for a few hours with some drinks. We felt sad to leave after 2 nights.

If you are looking for a funky, organic, hide away near the beach but aware from conventional concrete accommodation, this is a fantastic spot. Steve makes you feel very welcome, with beautiful gardens. This is a bohemian dream. Appreciate its eccentricity and its family and dog friendly vibes

If you like rustic charm then this could be the place for you. The cabin had a lot of natural grain wood finish if that's your thing, natural quiet surroundings, horses and an outdoor pizza oven. The owner is very friendly and check out times are very relaxed. Will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

Stayed here with my parents and 2 month old baby - it was glorious! So tranquil. A really special place. Easy walk to the beach and nearby eateries. Backing onto the mountains, so super quiet. Host was so nice and accommodating. Cooked us all lovely pizzas in the outdoor oven (be sure to give him a days warning, though!) Free yoga and massages. And lots of beautiful sights within easy driving distance. Complete bliss. And super good value for money. Please book here! You won’t regret it!!

A repeat visit to the Sandcastle for us, we have always enjoyed it but now after a refurb it is even cleaner and better value. Excellent start to 2025.

Cute little cabin and had everything we needed but thick cobwebs inside the windows with spiders, dirty inside window frames and kitchen shelves, some dirty and smelly towels, some dishes dirty, outside furniture and deck mildew - could have easily been a wonderful stay but this made it very average. Sorry guys, someone needs to give Cabin 2 a good clean and then it would be wonderful.

After our room had been given to another party the owner did correct this. The chalet was filthy. Dust, mould, filthy dush brush, spiders in the bathroom, stain on the bunk sheet, broken window latch meant we couldnt shut it, door didnt lock. The room was warm with 2x heaters and the area quiet apart from mice in the ceiling at night.

It's in a magical location with a special atmosphere all of it's own. If you look past the cobwebs, spiders and walls in desperate need of a paint, the important amenities (sheets, kitchen, floor, toilet) were clean. An enjoyable stay!

Steve thoughtful of old peoples needs and gave us a ramp up and some milk for the morning. Enjoyed the birdsong in the morning and ducklings and puppies and horses . Could oil squeaky doors to quieten toilet visits in the night and no smoke alarm

This property is at a beautiful location. The accommodation has a lovely stream in front. Seaview and (native) trees. The cabin looks nice but wasn't overly clean and could do with some love and maintenance. Unfortunately there was a course happening right in front of the cabin we stayed in, this course was on exactly during the time of our stay. We experienced this as disturbing and didn't add to a pleasant peaceful stay.

Our second time staying at this property, we even had the very same cabin. Steve, the host was fantastic. He made it nice and simple for our late arrival and popped in to check if we needed anything in the morning. We will absolutely stay here again. Fantastic location surrounded by nature. We arrived and were personally greeted by Steve. I’ve been too many accommodations in my life and I have never had a host like Steve. He was absolutely superb. We originally planned to stay for two nights and because of the.Bonhomie of the place we stayed a total of six days and five nights. We would have stayed all the way to the end of our trip. This was an unexpected find and you have a really open mind. I highly recommended to book this place. Just remember, it’s not the faint heart.

Relaxed , clean and comfortable cabins. Lovely garden , plenty of car parking, walking distance to the beach . Quiet area , can have a good sleep. Heaters in cabin for chilly nights that work really well. Good shower water pressure. Steve is a great host! Very friendly and would do anything to make sure our stay was comfortable.

We loved our cabin at The Sandcastle. It was spacious and had a rustic old holiday camp feel about it. If you are expecting pristine modern accommodation, this is not the place for you. The setting is beautiful and only a 5-10 minute walk from one end of Pahora beach. Kitchen had all we needed to cook some meals in, although no oven, it had 2 hot plates and a microwave, toaster and kettle. Bathroom had no shampoo or soap so bring your own. The beds were comfy and towels are provided. On the Saturday evening, Steve the engaging owner got the neat outdoor pizza oven going and you just provide your own toppings, he does the dough and passata. It was a great way to chat to him and other guests for a few hours with some drinks. We felt sad to leave after 2 nights.

Our second time staying at this property, we even had the very same cabin. Steve, the host was fantastic. He made it nice and simple for our late arrival and popped in to check if we needed anything in the morning. We will absolutely stay here again. Fantastic location surrounded by nature. Stayed here with my parents and 2 month old baby - it was glorious! So tranquil. A really special place. Easy walk to the beach and nearby eateries. Backing onto the mountains, so super quiet. Host was so nice and accommodating. Cooked us all lovely pizzas in the outdoor oven (be sure to give him a days warning, though!) Free yoga and massages. This property is at a beautiful location. The accommodation has a lovely stream in front. Seaview and (native) trees. The cabin looks nice but wasn't overly clean and could do with some love and maintenance. Unfortunately there was a course happening right in front of the cabin we stayed in, this course was on exactly during the time of our stay. We experienced this as disturbing and didn't add to a pleasant peaceful stay.

Amazing stay, the host gave a very kind upgrade and I felt like it was a night staying with friends. It was pizza night and so fun with live music and socializing.

If you like rustic charm then this could be the place for you. The cabin had a lot of natural grain wood finish if that's your thing, natural quiet surroundings, horses and an outdoor pizza oven. The owner is very friendly and check out times are very relaxed. Will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

Tidy cottage. Showing age and has partial do ups. Curtains needed more hooks as barely hanging. Cutlery draw needs cleaning and improved. No TV but excellent wifi. Shower has excellent water flow but no hair shampoo.
