Heel mooi hotel, lekker ontbijt, op wandelafstand van centrum. Je kan op 50m een beveiligde parkeerplaats reserveren voor slechts 120 MXN pesos per dag wanneer je dit voorafgaandelijke vraagt aan het hotel (is beveiligde P). Er is geen openbare parkeergelegenheid in de straat zelf.

Heel mooi en aangenaam, rustig boutiquehotel. Een echt pareltje. We hadden drie mooie, ruime kamers met goede bedden. Er is een sfeervolle ontbijtruimte, goed doch klein ontbijt ( we namen ontbijt inclusief en dan heb je een beperkte keuze; beslis je ter plaatse dan heb je een ruimere keuze). Prima service, vriendelijk personeel dat Engels spreekt. Leuk zwembad, niet groot maar aangenaam verfrissend in de hitte. Een echt pareltje!!!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, with restaurants, the Cathedral, and all the main sights in the historic center just a short walk away. The staff were very friendly and even greeted us with a bottle of wine. We also booked a spa service, and the spa team was both professional and on time.

Es un hotel lindo y muy tranquilo. La alberca le falta limpieza. Hay buena atención por parte de quien atiende pero creo que podrían mejorar la atención al cliente. No me gusta que no hay estacionamiento cerca, la lluvia estaba muy fuerte y no hay donde estacionarse cerca. El servicio de los alimentos muy limitado, ya que no hay restaurante en el hotel hasta determinada hora, tendrás que salir y buscar que comer.

The Casa de Las Palomas is located about a 15 minute walk from the main center, a few blocks away from all the noise, in a quiet and cozy area, not far from great restaurants and plenty of shopping. The House is a restored house turned boutique hotel, only 9 rooms, but very comfortable. Service is excellent, everyone strives to go beyond. The breakfast experience is a must. Every dish being served is deliciously prepared and served. We enjoy every bite of the Yucatan dishes offered by a top notch chef. Highly recommended.

The place is beautiful and the personal are great ! The only thing I did not enjoy was the room-service food, it was expensive, took about an hour to be ready and was not really tasty. The cocktails on the other hand were very good :) I enjoyed my time and would recommend this place to rest

A gorgeous hotel tucked away off the street. The courtyard, restaurant area, and pool are beautifully designed. Our bedrooms were VERY comfortable, and we loved the outdoor showers. A very walkable area as well.

The esthetic was beautifully curated. The pool was always clean during my stay. I didn’t look carefully at the amenities (coffee, late snacks, water/ice) but they did not offer or cared to accommodate ice/water requests. Giving 4 stars only for this reason. Otherwise cute place.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and very attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was excellent, and our room was spacious with a super comfortable bed. The pool was on the smaller side, but it was still great and served its purpose well. I also had an in-room massage, which was both convenient and relaxing. If we're back in the area, we’ll definitely stay here again!

They truly went above and beyond, even helping me find a taxi to the airport. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. Breakfast was both beautiful and delicious, and the service was nothing short of stellar. Five-star staff all the way! A Few Suggestions for Improvement: The pool area could benefit from more consistent upkeep, such as daily skimming, sweeping, and securing furniture to prevent it from being displaced by the wind or blown off when cleaning. It would be helpful to have a blow dryer in the rooms. My shower head sprayed water outside the shower area, and the exterior shower walls could use a deep clean to address the mildew. Casa De Las Palomas is a stunner. An oasis at the very convenient corner of Calles 49 and 64, such a wonderful place to come home to from your Merida adventures. Everything is understated elegance, from the lobby torn from the pages of Architectural Digest, to the bosky pool courtyard and dining areas. Rooms are big on tile, exposed rock, and local woods, with courtyard views. My room, #6, had a downright decadent outdoor rain shower, featuring hot water and strong pressure--not always found in Mexican hotels. Good bed, quiet overnight. Staff is friendly and eager to please. I sense a hotel of this calibre would be twice, three times the price in Bali or Tulum, so a decent value too. A few quibbles: I would have loved a chair or loveseat in the room. There is space for a refrigerator in the cabinet, again would have been a welcome addition. And given that the pool is the hotel's central feature, hotel staff should aim to clean pool more often--pool caught a lot of leaves and debris that daily or twice daily cleaning would have removed. Casa de las Palomas was a relaxing and beautiful place to stay. I enjoyed every area of my room. The room was cleaned daily. Service and staff were professionals. The hotel is a unique and charming place. Loved it and I still can’t get over it. I highly recommend it.

We stayed 4 days at Casa de las Palomas and the experience was excellent. Location: Perfect. Everything is just a few blocks away, so you can easily walk without needing transportation. The hotel is very close to the historic center, the Plaza Grande, the oldest cathedral in Latin America, and the famous Paseo de Montejo. Room: Very clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything needed to enjoy the stay. Restaurant: Offers a wide variety of delicious lunches. Every dish we tried was tasty and well prepared. The staff were very nice and the property was clean. We loved the outdoor shower and found the bed to be comfortable. The location is close to everything there is to see. Very walkable. We also liked that there is a corner store across the street where we could buy snacks and water.

The staff were outstanding. They wanted to please their guests. Wifi worked well. The television worked but was outdated with no option to utilize a personal Firestick.( USB) The option that would top these rooms off would be a mini fridge. To be able to keep perishables and cold water would be a asset.

What a great stay. It’s small but they have all you need. I was “weirded” out by the outdoor shower but enjoyed it. Super location and the staff was incredible. And breakfast and room service were delicious. Just wished my room had a chair. The pool was also a plus. Enough to take a dip to cool off in the afternoons.
What a great stay. It’s small but they have all you need. I was “weirded” out by the outdoor shower but enjoyed it. Super location and the staff was incredible. And breakfast and room service were delicious. Just wished my room had a chair. The pool was also a plus. Enough to take a dip to cool off in the afternoons.

The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained, and all the staff are friendly and attentive to guests' needs. We rented a car, and they provided a parking lot across the street where we could park it. The staff was always attentive to our needs, and it was clear they genuinely cared. The only thing I suggest improving is the pillows. We felt our sleep wasn't optimal because the pillows were too soft (we prefer medium firmness). If the hotel can offer more pillow firmness options in the future, that would be fantastic.

Beautiful boutique hotel that’s convenient and walkable. The restaurant, IZEL, is open for breakfast and is excellent. Only a few rooms - we wish ours had been a bit further from the lobby as it was loud multiple times between the hotel entry keypad and guests rolling suitcases around early in the morning. Our particular room shared a wall with the office (which was more of a privacy concern on our part than loud). I’d try to request a quieter room next time. Great spot, with great staff and design - I’d highly recommend!

The facility is beautiful. Elegant, in great shape, and quiet. The location is excellent - two blocks away from Paseo Montejo. The beds are comfortable and the staff is superb. SUPERB.They take hospitality serious here. I'd recommend it to anyone.

This hotel is nice. The staff is lovely- so cheerful and helpful. The rooms are spacious and it has a nice swimming pool in the middle of the property. There were 2 couples in our party. One had a nice room on the ground floor, the other was okay. The bathroom in the second room was tiny and in need of paint and renovation. Two people could not fit. We had to take turns using the bathroom. As for the breakfast, we were not impressed. When they said they offered yogurt, it was a tablespoon with the fruit. The fruit available was apple, banana and a couple of blueberries. No mango and no papaya or any other tropical fruit. Very strange! We only ate at the hotel once since it was so disappointing.

This room was so quaint and cozy, and the private outdoor shower was such a delight! Everything felt so tropical and incredibly ambient. And waking up to the birds singing away was so beautiful. The staff was AMAZING! We stayed an entire week so we met many members of their staff and each one was just as friendly and helpful as the others. The fresh crystal water delivered multiple times each day was a great touch! They assisted in excursions, food options, shopping, travel, and even some history about the area and the Yucatan. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful property!

Didn’t have nothing to drink! Just water! They have a bar but nothing to give you! I ask to have a late check out and they charge me 50 doll just one hour! Not even the courtesy to a late check out! The rooms are not cheep and there are a lot of places like this in Merida! Not worth the money to have a bad service! Boutique hotel means personalized service, well NOT in this place!

The staff were nice and available. But the breakfast options were very limited for vegans. We got only avocado toasts and on our last mornign there, we were told that even that was not available. So, we had to leave without breakfast. The hotel's photos look very upscale and nice but in reality, the rooms are little dated. The room for which we paid extra, was large but was very noisy as it was right near the street and shared a wall with the property office. This was not mentioned anywhere. So, we had to change the room to sleep properly and we were practically downgraded. But of course, without any money back for the wrong/lack of description. This seemed unfair. Also, for the wine that was supposed to be part of the stay, it was not offered spontaneously. We had to ask for it and received one.

The place is beautiful and the personal are great ! The only thing I did not enjoy was the room-service food, it was expensive, took about an hour to be ready and was not really tasty. The cocktails on the other hand were very good :) I enjoyed my time and would recommend this place to rest

The location is excellent, as it is within walking distance of many major sightseeing attractions. The hotel is very nice and quiet. The staff were always prompt to help and offered a lot of information. The room was perfect, and the outdoor shower was a highlight of our stay, making our time at the hotel even more enjoyable. The only issue was that the shower doors did not seal properly, allowing insects to enter the room and cool air to escape. As a result, the mini-split air conditioner had to work harder and run longer to maintain a comfortable temperature. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

The most beautiful property! The area was wonderful and within walking distance to great eats and shops. The food at the hotel’s restaurant was amazing. The staff was so sweet and were beyond helpful with questions we had. Would stay here again!
