Super friendly staff. The hotel was lovely and the room was clean. The beds are very comfortable and pillows were wonderful to sleep on. It was difficult to find the directions to drive up to the front door area to drop off with bags so we had to park on the road and walk the bags over. Hotel parking isn't convenient for taller vehicles so we had to park in the paid carpark next door (additional cost)

The Amora hotel was an excellent central location, walking distance to the Queen street mall, easy to get to all outer areas. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The buffet breakfast was excellent with all options, however the gym is too small and may be a good idea to redirect into a bigger space as i found it too cramped when 3 peopke were in there, and the outside pool would have been great if heated in winter. I will be back again. Thank you Amora

Room was lovely and spacious, with a comfortable bed, large TV that you can cast to, and a large, modern bathroom. Breakfast was decent, although most things weren’t labelled which was a strange choice, so you have to guess what you’re putting on your plate. Nice outdoor pool and small but good gym.

Beautiful stay however F&B was understaffed for dinner and breakfast service. Food and service were lovely but there wasn’t enough staff for amount of patrons and you felt uncomfortable to ask for anything additional.

The hotel looks great following renovations, reception staff were friendly and the cleaning staff on floor 6 were very friendly and helpful. The location is central to the train station and walkable to town. The breakfast in the hotel was excellent, very well laid out with everything available. The only negative to our stay, the bar closed at 10pm, meaning our group couldn’t enjoy a night cap before retiring for the night. When we did get an opportunity to use the bar, the staff were overwhelmed, couldn’t accommodate a quick service and got cocktail orders wrong.

The Amora hotel is only 10 minute walk from the Queen Street Mall ( centre of Brisbane City), that is further south. Only 15 min walk to the upmarket Fortune Valley, where really nice bars & restaurants are. The hotel is spotlessly clean, fab breakfast, huge rooms, beautiful decor, nice pool (albeit cold but once you’re in it feels warm), shower room is perfect, room has a good size fridge, ironing board & iron. Gym & sauna has access to the pool, Id recommend a stay from a week travelled person

The Amora has a great breakfast buffet, the room was fine and the service was great but staff not always intuitive. We arrived and asked about where to park and we got the card with directions but failed to give us a voucher with the QR code, so my husband ended up using his credit card which cost ~$80 instead of $40 through the hotel! Thankfully we got a credit from the hotel for the cost but they could have saved the pain by being intuitive enough if someone is asking about where to park on check in maybe ask if they need the QR code! Added to issues with our accessible room booking which the staff were good at resolving, but they need to address the reason the issues happen in the first place.

We stayed in the Twin room for 4 Nights. The rooms are nice but there is no view as it faces the next door apartment. Our interaction with staff was pleasant and they were happy to assist excpet on few occassions as the Wallabies team were staying at Amora during the same time and obviously they were getting preferential treatment. The location is on the fringe of CBD and is convenient as you can get out of the city pretty quickly plus Central Station is just 3 min walk. The parking is good but pretty expensive on weekdays $40 per day. They can also add more reserved spots with charging points for Electric cars as we never got a spot at the 2 slow chraging points at B3 & B4. The Breakfast was good but they need to have a breakfast package for families with kids that is more affordable as the room rates itself are pretty high. There are just 3 lifts and if you stay in middle floors like level 7 for us we had to wait for 10 mins during morning to get a lift down. There is nothing except a tiny tetrapack of milk included. We checked in at 11pm and there was no water included! The tap in the basin is so low that its impossible to fill water. 2 complimentary bottles of water will be a good gesture. Lastly, there is no open space where families with small kids can spend time.

The Front Desk staff etc. were all excellent. The only issue I had was that on two separate days I was treading on peanuts that must have been left on the floor from previous guests. Obviously from the mini bar. Other than that everything was excellent and it was a very enjoyable stay.

Breakfast was very average for the price. We spend a lot of time waiting for staff to refill empty items. Cleanliness of eating area was very disappointing- lots of food on the floor and tables not cleared. Parking was easy and convenient. Location was good. Room was nice and modern but very expensive for size and no balcony. Pool was too cold to swim.

Rooms are very pretty. We had a lot of dust in our room so we were moved to another room and given complementary drinks which was nice. Most of the staff were lovely but there were a few who were a little dry and not so happy. Comfortable beds and pillows.

Great stay, will be back Really enjoyed my time at the Amora. Location is spot on - right in the city and easy to get around from. Room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful. Good room layout and nice renovations, but the threshold for the bathroom is higher so watch out if you need to go to the bathroom in the middle is the night. Great location to the CBD; however, there is no crosswalk to head to transit stops, so take care crossing the streets downhill from the hotel. There are regular screeching noises from the trains passing nearby; however, we were still able to get rest at night.

For the price of the room I was not pleased to find there was no pod coffee machine in my room. When it was the Novotel it had a Nespresso pod machine in all the rooms. Bar fridge not cold and air con not satisfactory either. Shame as looks lovely and the staff were very polite.

Rooms were spacious, clean and bathroom was fantastic. Mini bar was well stocked. Balcony with a view was a bonus. Fantastic stay. Room was quiet, couldn't hear any noise from nearby rooms or outside.

Very nice hotel, located in a convenient location walking distance to the Brisbane river and main sites. Everything felt very clean and nicely presented. There was a bit of extra space in the room for a sitting area next to the window. It was difficult to get the water temperature right in the shower - either felt too hot or too cold. We weren't provided any teaspoons to make coffee or tea. We were only provided with one 200ml mini carton of milk for 3 nights so ran out for our coffee by the last morning.

Located in a central area where you can get to everywhere quite easily. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. Only negative was that the WIFI didn't seem to work for our rooms, it worked in the lobby but for some reason it wouldn't connect specifically in our rooms

Gorgeous property within very close walking distance to central station. Also walking distance to the river and everything else you need. The area at night is a tiny bit sketchy but would not deter me from returning here again. The room was beautiful and spacious. The bed was comfortable and clean. Only complaint is the water pressure is a little on the weaker side. Breakfast buffet had a good amount but simple options. It was very delicious though. Staff were all friendly.

I asked her if it is possible to change the booking to a different date due to my appointment date at the hospital got changed. When I asked the receptionist over the phone she said it’s not a problem. When Expedia contacted the hotel, they denied. So I want to talk to them in person. She knows that I am a doctor as I explained about the situation. To my horror, she said she also got a medical degree (not related to the topic or her job), knows which appointment can be changed or not. She said she will never book her room via Expedia and it’s people like us always try to book rooms on a cheap price. She should have just said a “No” but she chose to humiliate in front of everyone. I am a gold member and the discount is for all VIP members. I didn’t opt for that discount, as for me the top priority is a nice, clean hotel with 4 or 5 stars rating. I told her I am not asking for a refund or demanding the cancellation or change over, all I am trying to do is having a conversation and explaining the situation. She said repeatedly she will never book via Expedia and doesn’t care now.

The Amora has a great breakfast buffet, the room was fine and the service was great but staff not always intuitive. We arrived and asked about where to park and we got the card with directions but failed to give us a voucher with the QR code, so my husband ended up using his credit card which cost ~$80 instead of $40 through the hotel! Thankfully we got a credit from the hotel for the cost but they could have saved the pain by being intuitive enough if someone is asking about where to park on check in maybe ask if they need the QR code! Added to issues with our accessible room booking which the staff were good at resolving, but they need to address the reason the issues happen in the first place.

Good room layout and nice renovations, but the threshold for the bathroom is higher so watch out if you need to go to the bathroom in the middle is the night. Great location to the CBD; however, there is no crosswalk to head to transit stops, so take care crossing the streets downhill from the hotel. There are regular screeching noises from the trains passing nearby; however, we were still able to get rest at night.

We stayed here for the last 2 nights of our holiday before we flew back to the UK from Brisbane. The hotel is great, modern, clean and the staff are very friendly. We found the location to be perfect, the walk into the City centre and to the river taking around 10-15 minutes. We took an Uber XL (for 5) to the airport at a cost of $60 (including tolls) and only took around 20 minutes.

This a reasonable Hotel, with two critical exceptions. If you want to get a Taxi or Ride Share - they cannot locate the front of the Hotel - resulting in a great deal of confusion that even the front desk staff dont seem to understand. The second issue is the complete lack of response to written feedback from the hotel. Stayed there a couple of times.......and wont be back. Nor would I recommend to any other Business Traveler who needs to be places on time.

Lack of sauce. Incorrect steak cut. Desert at $25 each was very bland and presented with the same crumbs as the cheese cake. Definitely not worth the price. Do yourself a favour and get Uber eats instead.

Restaurant dinner was poor quality. Had a steak ordered medium and received well done. Steak was about 8mm thin so not worth the price tag. Had Brussels sprouts for a side that were obviously re-heated and the bacon bits hard enough to crack a tooth on. Pepper sauce on the steak was thin and tasteless. Would not eat at the restaurant again. Breakfast buffet was over priced for what was on offer.

Amora hotel in Brisbane is a must stay for your next visit! Hotel rooms are amazing, they are clean, showers are fantastic and the beds are comfy! Highly recommend getting the breakfast package, probably the best breakfast I’ve had a hotel in Australia for a very long time!
