Parking lot very well lit. Quiet area. one issue was the shower drain had a problem, but I was checking out when the issue happened, so it did not affect me. this will be my choice of stay the next time in Jacksonville. The staff very friendly

No frills motel right off 95. Staff very friendly and always cleaning. We stayed a week and were happy with stay. Breakfast was very simple... Awesome breakfast resturant right next door serves breakfast and lunch items all day. Well lighted and very secure.

We stayed with the family for one night. The motel looked good from the outside but the room was terrible. It was so filthy! Dirty walls all over the place rusty and moldy bathroom, cockroaches in the bathroom. Also, make sure you check that the room is non smoking when you book as we ended up with one smoking room accidentally and the smell was insane.

The bathroom had not been cleaned prior to me checking in. There was a washcloth left in the tub and the floors were not swept at all. I even killed a roach that was crawling on the chair in the room. I won't be staying here again.

Disgusting. Barely was there 2 hours wanted a refund because my room had beds full of bedbugs and guy at desk told me that was my choice to leave. I just needed a place for me and my 2 kids to sleep for a few hours while traveling instead i had to find and pay for another hotel in the middle of the night. Never will recommend to anyone! All i want is my money back. Hopefully people read this so they dont have the same peoblem i did.

When double checking for cleanliness of the room, we found dead roaches under the bathroom sink. The water in the tub did not drain properly and water was spring on the ceiling. When asked for extra towels and washcloths, the front desk was hesitant. There was water leaking on the floor and we were not sure where it came from. We had the room over the office, so it was quite noisy with the door, slamming constantly. There were people arguing outside to the point where we almost called the cops. Overall, this time staying at this hotel was not the greatest. We stayed here on our previous visits and they were better. Not sure where this decline came from. Most likely will not to stay here anymore.

Stay far away. The smoke detector was hanging out of the wall.. The wall beside the bed was covered in something thrown on it and never cleaned. The bedding was dirty. The bathroom ceiling was covered in mildew. When you pull in the drive you instantly feel unsafe. They allow riffraff and their hookers to stay. Warning.. stay away from this nasty property

I give this a 7 out of 10. Room was clean and comfortable and price was very economical. The score is only a 7 as the walls are very thin, the flushing of toilets sound like a freight train and you can hear it from surrounding rooms, as well as all noise from surrounding rooms. We had neighbors who were partying until 2am. If you can sleep through anything, then this is a great place, if you are like most, I don’t recommend it. Towels are super thin and small and you only get 1 per person (2 people in room = 2 towels). Amenities of soap and shampoo were nice. Breakfast was very minimal, coffee, wrapped donuts or muffins and looked like maybe empanadas in refrigerator. We skipped the breakfast. Outlet by sink did not work and the hairdryer was bolted to the wall there. Luckily I went to the office and they had a hairdryer that I was able to use in another outlet in the room. Staff was personable. Noise and towels were my biggest issues. Checkin was interesting with a kiosk where you talked to a live person but remotely!

Great price great location. You would think being locatedin Florida that I would've seen some sort of bug I mean at least a little spider or something but not even outside the door or even walking in-N-Out to my car. The carpets were presentable and clean as well as the entire room. They did a good job refurbishing this old motel sure it still is what it is, a older remodeled motel but definitely worth the money for the night. Highly recommended

Laundry machines need cleaning. A/C unit & thermostat could not be adjusted or turned on/off unless we unplugged unit. Overall tho, a CLEAN room & comfortable stay. An Aldi next door is convenient. Altho on main rd, a quiet stay. Reasonable rates/good value.

The remodeled place is very good. There is an issue with road noise and that the building is shaped like a “c” with all the room doors facing the parking lot in classic motor Lodge style. The room was clean and smoke free. The service was efficient. There is a diner next-door that serves good food. Phillips Highway is a very busy roadway and the sound somewhat crept into the room. They’ve done a great job with the remodel and the price point was very attractive. I would stay there again.

This is an older inn but looks like they have taken care to do some cosmetic upgrades. Curtains look new. Lighting is very nice especially for reading. We had windows with screens that actually opened. Wall dispensers and in shower for soaps, etc. Beds were comfortable and clean. My major issue was the odor. It smelled like Axe cologne or similar strong chemical smell. Price was very reasonable but wouldn’t stay here again due to the odor. My lungs do not do well with strong chemical smells. Fortunately it was a one night stay.

Stayed here before with no issues. Unaware of the 60 deposit. That was news once we arrived. Once we got to our room the AC was not working properly nor was the mini fridge. We let staff know. His response was there is a thermostat on the wall to control airflow and the fridge should be in working condition. He eventually came to take a look and discovered what we said was correct. There is no wall thermostat and the fridge was plugged in and not working. He immediately switched our room. I still have yet to get my deposit back and it has been several days since we checked out.

The customer service was horrible. When asked for a print out after check out they stated that I can only get it from hotels.com. I just wanted proof of check out and itemized list that they can only know and still refused to give me one and yelled at me. The carpet was sticky and dirty. The place seemed run down. The AC wasn’t working well and wouldn’t allow me to change rooms.

It’s not in the best neighborhood. It’s not in the worst neighborhood in Duval but it’s not too awfully far from it. Despite being close to less desirable parts of town, the property still felt reasonably safe and the gentleman at the front desk seemed to be in charge of the property and maintaining safety and security overall. For the price, the rooms are actually pretty nice and really big! We had a corner room and it was so easy to just back our car right up to the door and unload whatever we needed whenever we needed it, even when it was drizzling outside. I did run into a bit of an issue with some improper etiquette regarding my service dog but it was easily cleared up and not another word was said during or after my stay and I’m grateful for that. It’s an oddly cozy little nook in the crazy town that is Jacksonville.

We evacuated here during hurricane Milton and stayed for a week - midweek rates were only $68/night, which was a godsend. For that rate, this place is basically the Taj Mahal of hotels. It's clean, quiet, safe, everything works, and they seem to do basic housekeeping twice a day. Keep in mind - it was $68 - so there's some minor scuffing and damage around the rooms, and the AC units do unfortunately put out a bit of a mildew smell, but if you open the windows it clears out very quickly. To find a nicer hotel/motel you'd probably have to double the price point. Friendly staff and housekeepers, and convenient location close to Aldi, Starbucks, various fast food and gas stations, and about a five minute drive to the great San Marcos neighborhood with tons of food options.

They want to make sure people do not smoke in the rooms because the smell lingers and to remove it requires special treatment. My room was very clean and quiet. It was a perfect location for attending a concert in Jacksonville. The surrounding neighborhood wasn't the best but I did feel safe. The parking lot is huge and directly next to the road, and it was well lit. The interior of my room was as modern as can be expected and had nice tile upgrades. There were dispensers for soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower. There was a microwave and refrigerator in my room which I did not use but it's a nice option to have. There were chairs and a table in my room with still plenty of space. The continental breakfast was a chicken melt type thing and it would have been nice to have a vegetarian option. There were packaged sweets (very tasty!) as well as coffee, hot water (for tea), and fruit juices.

The “lobby” is smaller than the size of the room and the “breakfast” is in there, which is frozen chicken melts in a mini fridge with the option of coffee, orange juice, or apple juice. Overall for the price it’s good.
