Enjoyed a great stay, everywhere immaculately clean, fabulous experience in the onsen. Staff were attentive and very helpful especially Sato on reception desk. Breakfast has good choices, bed was comfortable and shower in room was terrific. Our only little grumble is the fact the lounge on top floor cannot be used unless you stay on one of the upper floors . Whilst that may be advertised it is not very clear, we would have been happy to pay for drinks etc to gain entry and experience the view.

Try nice hotel in a business area. Great onsen and nice rooms. Only two coin operated laundry machines, which wasn’t enough as they were impossible to find free. Also, air conditioning was very difficult to get right, and their “eco friendly” cleaning service also means, interestingly, that they don’t even make your bed. Good breakfast annd a good value overall. A very nice hotel.

Very nice and elegant hotel. Very nice onsen. Clean room and generally very clean hotel. The staff at the receptions was very kind and extremely helpful in many circumstances. In particular, when we needed a doctor, they helped to organise a visit at a clinic, it would have been very difficult without them. Free shuttle service to Osaka station is very convenient. I very much recommend a stay in this hotel.

Room was really not up to standard the walls were covered in marks and stains. Curtains had huge stains across them. Room just felt very neglected. Hotel was full so was unable to change room, however they did replace or clean the curtain during our stay.

Very clean. I do regret booking a smoking room, didnt realize and the room and halls really smelled like someone smoked right before we got there every day. We had to sleep with the windows opened. Other than that loved the room size, cleanliness and setup. Beautiful location

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and usually, they are great. The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Hotel itself is clean and nice. Transportation to umeda is convenient; they have shuttle bus every 20 minute ish with time table posted. Everything is usually on point except during my last visit, room smelled pretty bad. I asked the room to be switched and they accommodated to my request. So thank you.

フローリングにホコリのかたまり、髪の毛、錠剤が落ちてましたので清潔なお部屋とは言えません。朝食のためレストランへホテルのパジャマとスリッパで行ったら、その格好では入店できないと断られたので、一旦部屋へ戻り洋服に着替える羽目になりました。チェックインの時に説明してほしいです。

Overall the hotel is good. This is my 4th time living this hotel, while the room 1520 was smelly, not sure what happened before I arrival. That was my 1st time has this feeling, hope the hotel can be solved this issue

We stayed in a premier room on the 13th floor and had a beautiful view of the river and city. It was a wonderful stay! The staff was friendly and courteous, the shuttle service was very convenient, and the room was very comfortable. The queen sized bed was big enough for two people and also very comfortable. The only thing I'd change was a slight smell coming from the furniture in the room, I couldn't figure out where exactly it came from but it was not too strong. Everything else was great. Oh and the included breakfast was delicious 😋, authentic Japanese breakfast with a few different options for each of the three days we were there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mitsui Garden Osaka Premier. Though the rooms are a bit dated compared to some other Mitsui Garden hotels, they’re exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff here are what make the experience so exceptional. They’re friendly, helpful, and truly go above and beyond to ensure you have a nice stay. Close to a subway line and there’s a 7Eleven right beside the hotel too. Highly recommended hotel overall!

I booked this hotel because of previous good experiences at other Mitsui Garden properties in Fukuoka, Nagoya and Kanazawa. However I found that the Mitsui Garden in Osaka didn't live up to the same level. This hotel is a little dated (looked like early 2000s) and the onsen is not as nice as what I've experienced at other Mitsui Gardens. The location is not great if you are in Osaka on a holiday - it's not really in an area with a lot of shops or restaurants. It's more business oriented. The hotel is close to Higobashi station which is convenient for going to Dotonbori or Osaka Station, it's not really close to a train line which is convenient for Shin-Osaka station (where the Shinkansen stop). My biggest issue with this hotel is that I originally booked a standard double room, but found that the window in the room was fully frosted, and so it wasn't possible to see out the window. This wasn't indicated clearly anywhere when I booked the room. I asked if a room change was possible, but they said that all the double rooms had frosted windows. Eventually they changed me to a twin room facing the river which didn't have frosted windows, but I had to pay extra for the room (the difference was not too excessive to the hotel's credit). However I think it's very misleading not to advertise this clearly as I would not have booked the room or hotel if I had know this as the room with frosted window felt very claustrophobic.

A really beautiful room with a view to match. This room had everything we needed for a comfortable three night stay. The location was good, but if you want to be close to ‘the action’ you may want to find a place closer, as it was either a 30 minute walk into the centre or a metro ride in. One thing I really appreciated in the room was the bathroom mirror - it has excellent lighting, and made it a pleasure to do my makeup. The Phillips hairdryer was also a pleasure to use!

I booked the hotel with lounge access and it’s a good thing I did, as the room was really quite small. We struggled a little to even find spaces to open our luggages. So it was nice to be able to go to the lounge for an hour or 2 at night to stretch out and to enjoy the drinks and snacks there. Good selection of drinks and snacks on offer. Small room aside, I would say the room was warm and cosy, and the queen bed was quite comfortable to sleep on. Whilst the hotel isn’t located right next to any train station, it considerately offers a free shuttle bus service to the Osaka station as well as a return journey. This makes the hotel location a good enough one for us. The hotel breakfast was nothing to shout about. The one thing I need to call out is the terrible service I experienced at check in. The hotel refused to allow us to check in due to a missing first name on our passport. This is despite the fact that we had the hotel confirmation and receipt with us, and also the credit card that was used to pay for the booking. They kept us waiting at the lobby for almost an hour, and didn’t even offer us a drink to quench our thirst. As this unhappy matter took place on my birthday, it really distressed me a lot, and just to say that this hotel did absolutely nothing for me despite they knew it was my birthday was just extra disappointing.

The location was excellent and had a lovely view from the room. Decent sized room but room was dirty- splashes of something brown on the walls. Breakfast was a bit of a hassle as we had to queue until a table became free, both days. But the worst thing was the concierge telling our taxi driver the wrong airport location when he picked us up- a 13 min ride turned into a 45 min ride in the opposite direction. Wouldn’t stay here again.

I would rate this property much higher if it was based on the hotel alone. However, the experience I had with the staff is just unpleasant. The reception staff were rude and handled the situation we had at the hotel very poorly. I do not recommend this hotel for that matter.

Wir habe 6 Tage in diesem schönen Hotel verbracht. Die Gegend ist ruhig und etwas abseits vom Touristenrummel. Nächste Metrostation in etwa 6 Minuten fussgängig zu erreichen. Besonders Hervorzuheben ist der hoteleigene kostenlose Shuttleservice zur Osakastation und zurück (etwa alle halbe Stunde von morgens etwa 07:00 Uhr bis abends 22:00) wenn man sich den Fussweg zur Metro und zurück auch sparen will :-). Sehr angenehm. Das hoteleigene Onsen im obersten Stock ist eine Wohltat nach einem anstrengenden Tag. Wir hatten ein Zweibettzimmer im 8ten Stock mit Blick auf den Fluss. Der Raum war für japanische Hotels sehr geräumig. Zimmer war sehr sauber und wies normale Gebrauchsspuren auf. Alles top. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit. Zusätzlicher Bonus ist ein Kombini direkt um die Ecke des Hotels. Es gibt ein paar Restaurants in der Nähe, wir waren jedoch in der Regel weiter weg essen (wie schon erwähnt ist der Shuttle zur Osaka Station Gold wert). Wir waren begeistert und würden wieder buchen. Top Hotel und Leistungen.

If this hotel has a suitable room available, I always select to stay here on business. The hotel is within walking distance of Umeda station (12-15 minute walk) and, if this is too far, there is a convenient shuttle service available. The staff are extremely helpful and the public bath on the 16th floor is a really positive feature at the end of the day. The breakfast buffet is diverse and includes lots of great food from Kyushu. If you don't want to eat at the hotel in the evening, there are options at nearby buildings (especially under the festival hall building) or you can take the subway to the Dontonbori area. The only negative is that they don't seem to recognize the hotels.com gold status. This time I stayed for a long time, but was not offered an upgrade, drink, extra time, etc. It would have been perfect if they had made even a small gesture given that there are other places to stay. Always happy to stay here.

Stayed here many times. Very quiet and peaceful but close to business, restaurants, and shopping. Short walk to Umeda station. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is great. Will be back here for the location and price.

We stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed every our stay! great location (near a lot of bus stops and a metro stop). Hotel also had a very convenient shuttle to Osaka station that runs often enough. Our stay included free breakfast and the breakfast buffet had so many options and an espresso coffee machine - we literally ate breakfast at the hotel everyday and never got tired of it. We also had chosen a premiere room which gave us access to the public bath (which we didn't try it out but saw a lot of people using it and it looked nice) and a lounge. We visited the lounge almost every night for basically a free happy hour - they had free beer and wine every night from 6-9pm along with some snacks. Our room also had a very sizable shower AND bath tub (separate). The room was also very reasonably sized which we were surprised by because we had heard that hotel rooms could be small in Japan. Overall, no complaints at all - would definitely stay again next time we visit Osaka!

Easy to find Osaka hotel from Shin-Osaka station. Nicely situated in the business district which was well lit and has many good restaurants. Restaurants without an English translated menu can be a problem though. Easy connections to metro links. Hotel itself is smart and modern with pleasant welcoming staff. Breakfast is plentiful with a wide spread of Western and Japanese food. Breakfast room is rather snall and a queuing system is in place for busy times.
