After the first night the hotel water heater leaked and was busted. Only option given was to use the gym shower. After a struggle to request a new room and compensation the only thing offered was a free breakfast on the day. I would expect hotels.com would refund part of the stay. They would not assist with the issue or make any demands. Hotel strung us along that it would be fixed so no hot water for 75% of the stay. Hotel.com support was seriously lacking online as we were cycled through reps repeatedly with no rep seeming to want to run with the reported issue. A horrible situation to be in when in another country.

Nos quedamos en el piso 7. El elevador solo llega al piso 6 y hay que subir unas escaleras (no muchas) para llegar al 7. La habitación muy buena, todo muy limpio aunque la bañera es un poco incómoda ( no la recomiendo para personas mayores) La recepcionista de el hotel muy buena persona y muy servicial. El lugar está muy céntrico y tiene una vista desde la sala de el desayuno muy bonita. Definitivamente me volvería a quedar.

The hotel is very well located, between Puerta de Alcala and Cibeles. The apartment was very clean. We stayed at apartment 603, one of the showers didnt have a door so the water kept going all over the place, but overall everything was very nice, I would stay there again. The breakfast buffet is small but very good!!!

Great location and very nice staff. We stayed here at the tail end of our Spain trip (and backend of our Madrid stay). The place is very near to great restaurants, walkable site seeing, etc. The place itself was nice, but did not feel very clean. For example, walls were scuffed up, floor in some spots had a slight stickiness to it, bed spread had a stain on it, etc. Again, great location, but not worth the value given cleanliness issues.

The location was fantastic and the size of the apartment was much larger than we expected. It provided the right amount of space for our family to stay comfortably. The hotel's price was also fantastic for Madrid. However, I will say, it was not the cleanest hotel. There was a lot of dust in the hotel room and was not thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival. Floors needed to have been moped and vacuumed. The linens and towels were clean though. For the price and location, including the apartment-style amenities, it couldn't be beat.

The only redeeming value for this property is its great, central location. Otherwise, the apartment needs a lot of work. Some of the issues are: Kitchen countertop is cracked Headboard in one of the bedrooms is falling apart Rust, mold and cracks around both bath tubs The unit requires you to go up 14 stairs to get to the living quarters, so it's not fun doing it with luggage The sofa bed did not have bedding and we were charged $30 for it The apartment we stayed it was on the top floor, but it has tiny windows so it ruined the potentially great views The apartment is absolutely not worth what we paid for it. I would not recommend it to anyone.

This is our second stay at the apartments so we knew what to expect. The apartment we stayed was 301, the kitchen joinery is getting tired, and it would be nice to have more than two glasses etc, especially if you are trying to do meals there, and the cups are awful, handles very difficult to hold and small. Everything else was lovely, except that it was impossible to connect my Surface pro pc to the internet, my partners phone connected easy with no problems, but no one seemed to be able to help or give any reason why my pc wouldn't connect.

The location is great. You are close to everything, a fee steps from El Retiro park, lots of bars and restaurants around. We stayed in Senior Suite apartment and it would need a bit of upgrade. The walls have some stains, mirror broken, some things half of broken. It was supposed to have 2 bedrooms but the second one was divided from living room by one piece of furniture only, no wall. The apartment was surprisingly dark. The light in living room had to be on all the time, the only day light was in bedrooms. We got a nice cor at request. The staff was nice, they were doing their best. The value for money was good.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. We didn’t try the breakfast so I can’t comment on how it was. The location was great: quick drive to airport, lots of attractions in walkable distance, however because it’s pretty central it was a bit noisy at night but we were fine with that.

Be careful. High price paid for a room that smells bad, is humid, dirty, in a poorly maintained property, and with a view of a storage area? The photos are completely misleading compared to the actual room. When I pointed this out to the front desk after check-in, they told me they couldn’t cancel the reservation or refund my money due to their “cancellation policy.” This is not about canceling because I changed my mind — it’s because I am not receiving what I paid for. If they don’t refund me, I will take legal action. I DO NOT recommend this place. For the same price and in the same area, you can find 5-star luxury hotels — as I did right after leaving this place immediately.

What a gem! I love this property. It has everything and super clean. All the appliances worked perfectly, the AC was excellent, and the beds were comfortable. An affordable and delicious breakfast helped make the most of each day. The location was ideal with many areas nearby, especially the gorgeous and famous park as well as the Prado Museum. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend!

We got there early, the gentlemen at the front desk was very nice and kind and told us to leave our luggage so we can go and have some lunch while the room was ready. When we got there he had taken the luggages up to the room for us and when we opened the door we where speechless with this apartment! It was so fancy decorated everything was so clean and so well put together that i would stay there again! Very comfy king size beds n both rooms, the bathroom was huge with a vidette and everything, the fridge was loaded with sodas, waters, wine bottles, beer and also champagne bottle, of course with a fee but regardless very convenient plus free coffee and teas along with some snacks. Very pleased with the Hotel and its surroundings.

The Boutike Cibeles was great. We had the two bedroom apartment which was large, lovely and a very comfortable place to stay in the heart of Madrid, within walking distance of so many popular destinations. The bus to and from the airport is very close and convenient.

We stayed at the property twice on this trip, 4 nights and 10 nights the second time. This hotel is older but extremely clean and comfy. The location is excellent for Madrid, it's on Calle Alcala, next to Plaza Cibeles and a short walk to Puerta de Alcala. You can walk to Gran Via, Paseo del Preafo and Paseo de la Castellana. These are the major streets of Madrid, and maybe tje most beautiful. You are near restaurants and not to far from Calle Goya and Salamanca district, the real Madrid. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are really apartments with full kitchens and clothes washer (no dryer). The place is older but well kept. It offers a buffet breakfast for €9.5. We did not try it. We opted stack up on breakfast items, cheese, chorizos, jamon Iberrico and crackers for the evening snack. We opted for the big lunch in the afternoon, the Spanish norm. I would recommend this place to those who stay longer and want room to relax. It offers king size beds, two TVs, a dining area, two sink bathrooms and enough kitchen items for 2. I am sure they can provide plates and flatware for 4 if B requested. Heck, even the items left in the fridge are reasonably priced

What a wonderful place for our family to stay in Madrid and explore the city. It’s a perfect location for everything. The rooms and beds were massive and comfortable. The rooftop breakfast upstairs was delicious! The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend!

Incredible location, near Cibeles fountain (Gran Vía street, El Retiro park, lots of restaurants and tapas bars). Great breakfast offered, with eggs cooked at the moment and a variety of fruit, fresh orange juice, coffee, pancakes, bread, pastries, cheese and charcuterie (unlimited Jamón Serrano). Suite was large and very clean, good bathroom and a complete kitchen. Washing machine great for doing laundry for travellers (only missing a dryer to make the laundry situation perfect). Overall very satisfied with our stay at Boutike Cibeles, great service and accommodations. Would come back and recommend to anyone spending time in Madrid.

We stayed in five hotels during our trip, and Boutike Cibeles was by far our favorite! Great location, very spacious apartment that included kitchen with appliances and two bedrooms so we did not have to be crowded in one room with kids. Cherry on the cake, breakfast is on the top floor where you can sit on a terrace and enjoy the amazing view of Madrid. The price was very affordable. If we ever return to Madrid, this hotel will be first on my list.

Great location, very nice staff, decent breakfast for about $10. Beds very comfortable. However could have used updating. A/c blew very cold. Shower is a tapered section of bathroom rather than in a stall Despite this, was great section to walk to many attractions
