Quality Inn Santa Fe New Mexico

Pool ok. Breakfast ok

We had two rooms. One was clean and the other wasn't. We had to get 6 out of the 8 pillows replaced because the linens had not been washed. ( the staff quickly replaced them and made sure we were happy with them.) That room had no extra toilet paper, so late at night they had to get tp from the other room. There were 4 people in that room but there were only towels for 3. The chair in the other room was so filthy that we had to put a trash sack on it so we could use it. So one room was ok clean and one was not. The pool was very clean but cold. The pool area was the only place outside that you could sit, but there was only one umbrella for the three tables that were there., and it was hot! There were no flowers or greenery on the property to make it appealing. Fortunately we had a room by the pool. We would have hated to have had one on the other side of the building as there was no view of anything that was not depressing. The breakfast was reasonably good.The women who kept things stocked were wonderful about keeping up with the demand.The also made sure everything was clean. We stayed 3 nights and realize that for most it is a come late, leave early place which might make it an ok place to stay, but we would not come back or recommend it.

Conveniently located on one of the main thoroughfares in Santa Fe, this property is a great value for the money. Fencing around the property gives you a sense of safety. An okay breakfast…nothing fancy but adequate.

Bed was very comfortable but no elevator for 2nd floor. It was a motel with smaller rooms but still okay for Santa Fe where everything is expensive.

Pool wasn’t working, property was still under renovation, new beds have sheet metal bases that make a sound like thunder when you bump them with your foot.

The room was fine in regard to cleanliness and location. The air conditioner was not very proficient, especially with 4 people in a room. The pool needed to be cleaned. Breakfast was ok.

The hotel is in renovation, the room was clean and renovated. The rooms are small,but for right price are ok.

The breakfast area was closed due to construction so we ate in the lobby where the doors opened and closed a lot, letting cold air in each time. Staff was great and apologetic about the situation and the difficulties it caused for everyone.

Clean room and comfortable bed for the money. Pool wasn't heated but still went in.

Toilet paper stuck on the door with hair on it. Also on th floor by the refrigerator it was very sticky like soda spilled

Bugs, bugs, and more bugs! Ants crawling on the floor by the bed, on the bed by my head several times, moths flying around inside, bugs in the drawers, bedbug looking creature on the bed! Blood on the inside of the shower curtain. Can't upload videos, so I couldn't show you the blood and the other bugs unfortunately. The bed is on a weird metal stand, creaking every time I moved. Can hear everything outside because the door has a make-shift piece of metal between the door and doorjam to make up for the shortage! Service was less than pleasant. Don't stay here! The hotel rep refused to refund my money, and I wouldn't have seen a dime if it were not for a chat agent with Hotels.com that said my refund would be guaranteed. Hotels.com's policy is not to refund unless they obtain permission to do so from the hotel! So, I got lucky... they had to honor it. Meanwhile, the hotel gets to keep my money! Asinine!

This hotel turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I've been to or thru Santa Fe at least a couple dozen times in the last 40 years, so I've stayed in many of the hotels. Most have been a disappointment. This Quality Inn is an exception. I will say that if you're looking for high end, go downtown. If you're looking for clean & comfortable at a reasonable rate, this would be a place to try. The woman at the front desk (I'm terrible with names) was professional, friendly, helpful, & very good at her job. The room was immaculate. The microwave, fridge, tv, & wi-fi were all in good working order. The biggest surprise was a bed that was comfortable & provided adequate support for my back - something I rarely have experienced even in high end hotels. Breakfast was fairly typical hotel fare & that was fine. As with any breakfast of this type, everything is disposable, which is not the best option, but the standard one. The man working the front desk when I checked out was also professional, friendly, competent, & helpful. The grounds were clean & I definitely felt safe. My room was close to Cerrillos, but noise was not an issue. This will be my go-to stop in Santa Fe for the foreseeable future. Please keep up the good work and thank you!

You can tell they done some updating of an older property so the room looks nice. However, there were unknown stains on 2 blankets and one had a cigarette burn even though the place is non-smoking. I'm weird about stains that I don't know their origin so I couldn't stop thinking about it but I also didn't want to be rude and make them change the bedding.

The bed was comfortable and so were the sheets. The rooms could be cleaned. We found rogue hairs on the walls and in the shower. The breakfast was served cold. Sausage was not warm to the touch nor were the eggs. We served them to our dog so it wouldn’t get thrown away.

Good experience the room was clean and the surrounding area was nice. We had a great night.

It was so-so. I think the price was very reasonable and it was in a good area. However, there was hair all over the bathroom we got and there was no rooms to switch to. It was gross and I just was not comfortable using that bathroom. The breakfast is not very good honestly. It’s the lowest quality and I guess it’s a “you get what you pay for” situation.

The shower was so gross, there was hair and black scum all over it. The bed sheets were stained. There were needles under and around the stairs to get to the room. Wouldn’t stay here again. Wouldn’t recommend- even if you’re on a super tight budget or desperate. Stay somewhere else.

The room had not been cleaned properly. The floor was grimy and sticky. The TV satellite system did not work. I could never stay there again.

Hotel rooms are kind of small.

Room is nice and seems to have been updated recently but the road noise is an issue.

Room was ok but there was a noise in the heater ducts that was annoying and prevented sleep. I requested a new room and was given one to sleep in but able to leave the bulk of o I r stuff in the original room so we did t have to drag stuff around in the middle of the night.

Beautiful room, comfortable bed. If you need Wi-Fi you'll need to set in the office as the room is so weak it doesn't work. Wheni told the officer

Everything was great except for the AC. We tried to make the room cooler, but I the AC wasn’t working properly. It wasn’t too bad because we stayed only one night.

I stayed at Quality Inn Santa Fe for 2 nights and overall had a pleasant experience. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with an aesthetic touch. The bed was very comfortable, and the pool looked clean (though I didn’t get a chance to use it). The room was fully equipped — iron, ironing board, hairdryer, microwave, fridge, toiletries (including body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, makeup remover wipes), USB charging points, and a well-lit mirror. Really appreciated those thoughtful details. Free breakfast was available, though the options were quite limited. Location-wise, it’s convenient if you’re driving, and the environment felt clean and safe. The main downside was the lack of natural air. Due to the layout, windows face walkways where people pass by frequently, so I had to keep blinds closed and windows shut to maintain privacy and protect valuables. Also, sound carried easily — I could hear footsteps and water running from other rooms. That said, I’d consider staying here again if I needed a solid base in Santa Fe.

Very comfortable rooms and beds. It is on a mager road so their is a lot of road noise especially if you have a room in the front.

This is like an old motel remodeled. Our room was on the end of the building right next to a highway. Lots of road noise all night. The room was clean but tiny. The beds had some kind of metal frame and made creaking noises everytime you moved. The bathroom was so small and cramped we didnt even try to take showers. This is not up to what we expected for a Choice hotel.

We got a double bed accessible room. The room was so small and cramped no space for my father in a wheelchair to move. Restroom was accessible I give one star for that. Staff members not friendly. We stayed for 2 night and they denied to clean our room on because it was our 2nd day of staying at the hotel. The front desk man was so rude towards us for asking. We cleaned our room and threw the trasn ourselves. We had to exchange our dirty towels for clean towels at the front. Yet again the man was so rude in exchanging our dirty towels for clean ones. We will never stay here again.

Hotel staff were helpful

Excellent property, I had to book it last minute as the one I booked it got miraculously cancelled by the hotel. So they checked us in late at night and were extremely helpful and happy to tell us about Zorzoba and other events happening in Santa Fe. Thank you for the great help, for the hospitality and for the suggestions. Bravo!

The late-night check-in clerk was great and so was the check-out clerk, but the "graveyard" shift guy was extremely disrespectful to us. I went down to the front desk (because the PHONE DIDN'T WORK) and informed him that the remote wasn't working. He went into our room and showed me where the toggle control on the set itself was, gave us a nasty look and then left. For the price we paid for this very tiny room, I expect better treatment.

Helpful Staff

The maid service was quite lacking, as they failed to empty the trash for three days,forcing me to dispose of it myself.Additionally , despite asking for toliet paper nicely,it was never provided.The door to my room was malfunctioning, and I had to ask three times for a new keycard, which left me in the cold waiting for ten minutes to get inside my room.The breakfast area was chaotic,with broken lights and a non-functioning waffle machine, and the staff were unhelpful and seemed annoyed by any requests.Overall, the maid service didnt even make an effort to check on our room.

The best thing about our stay at this property was the young lady working the front desk in the evenings, sorry I didn't ask her name. She was beyond helpful, knowledgeable, very kind, professional and an amazing multitasker.

We stayed one night with Family. The place felt safe, and the location was great.

Was approached outside door by homeless person with gun. Chose to sleep in moving truck that night and went elsewhere the next night.

Really good value; I was looking for a better quality business/traveler hotel than a roadside 'value' motel. It was important that I had excellent wifi and ability to have coffee/breakfast in the morning, since I was working. Clean, modern, comfortable bed; good desk and chair, all the lamps have outlets and USB; I would have liked a luggage rack to place my suitcase on since I was there for a week, it was too big for the rack by vanity/sink, but it's a minor detail. The daily breakfast was simple and accommodating - had healthy, protein options like hardboiled eggs yogurt, apples/banana, cereal options, oatmeal which I really appreciated; and something warm, eggs/sausage, bread for toast-breakfast sandwiches along with coffee, juices. If you're looking for a real diner breakfast, there's no shortage of Santa Fe classics close by, Cerillos is a main artery street, everything you want/need close by - pharmacy, grocery store, restaurants, etc. and it's 15 minutes from downtown. Free parking. Staff were nice and accommodating.

The Quality Inn on Cerrillios road in Santa Fe is a good clean inexpensive hotel located near plenty of stores and resturants.

Convenient location, close to mmany shops and restaurants. Comfortable clean room, terrific mattress, and fantastic selection for breakfast foods!

Homeless were hanging out outside the gate. Made me fell uncomfortable, I was going to Uber but I took my truck and didn’t stay out late at night

It was a nice stay. Breakfast was okay. Good shopping/dining nearby. Convenient to downtown Santa Fe.

The office staff was very gracious and helpful. We always choose a hotel that offers complimentary breakfast and this Quality Inn offered a quality breakfast! Also, I loved being able to use the guest laundry, which went very well!

All was as well as expected in context of service, cleanliness, and hospitality. Exceptions were too much loud traffic as its right off a main road and a very dirty air filter. Recommend better noise reduction efforts and more frequent filter changes. The air conditioning pressure was weak possibly because of filter conditions. Breakfast hospitality was great with the exception of juices which are extremely watered down. Consider these areas and I’d rate excellent all around.

Disappointed with breakfast was in a brown bag with juice, yogurt, muffin, spoon & napkin. Wouldn’t have chose this hotel if I knew this was “continental” breakfast. Add this detail to your website.

Checked into the room. Noticed immediately that the air conditioning was not working. Waited an hour to let the staff know just in case the AC needed time to get going. Eventually we were moved to a different room. The AC was only slightly working in that room and it banged and rattled all night long. Breakfast was advertised but the only thing offered was grab and go. Breakfast consisted of Hostess packets.

Best breakfast so far on our trip. Friendly people & staff.

Great folks but don't stay here because of breakfast. Their breakfast is lacking.
